"(Y/n)! Their after the little ones!" Boromir yelled to you as you fought and killed another orc.

"Let's go." You said sternly running with him to save Pippin and Merry.

You ran and fought as best you could but the hobbits were being carried at a faster pace then normal. They screamed for you and Boromir, which only made your heart hurt.

Anger arose in your veins as you gained speed and caught up to the pack of orcs. You killed another after another until you felt a sharp pain in your leg.

You looked down with an expression of pain to see an arrow. You continued to fight. Before long, you took another blow. This time to your shoulder.

You dropped to the ground and heard faint screams in the distance, your hearing beginning to fade. The darkness coming over your vision the last thing you saw was Aragorn and Legolas hovering above you.

The boat flowed through the river, reaching its final destination. Gondor. Your home, Faramir rushed to the row boat only to find it was not empty.

Your body lay, the arrow wounds now visible to Faramirs teary eyes. He dropped in the water, placing his hand on your heart. He felt something, warmth.

If you were dead your body would have been cold. He jumped up and wrapped you in his arms.

He brought you to the kingdom and ordered that people who were medically strong, help you.

"How long will it take?" Faramir said urgently to the women who were helping you.

"You may not want to see this, sir. We will come find you when it is time." One of the ladies said, pushing Faramir gently out of the room.

He sat outside of the room, within minutes he heard your screams of pain and agony.

It had been hours that they had been in there. It was eating him alive! He had to know if you were alright.

He always loved you, since the very first day he met you. Although he always believed you loved another, his brother for that fact.

Hearing your screams just made him worry deeper, his thoughts wandered to the day you left to the meeting, along with Boromir.

His father, Denethor, had always taken a liking to you. He always wanted you to marry Boromir, not considering either of your feelings. So when he sent Boromir to Rivendall on this quest it was a simple decision to call upon you to go along.

Boromir spoke to his father, well dressed in his armor. You, went to Faramir, your armor much different then Boromirs but no less beautiful.

"Why such a long face?" You smiled to your dear friend.

"I'm sorry, its only worry." He said with a blank expression.

"Faramir, why do you act this way? I won't be gone very long. If the meeting shall go longer I will write you." You worried now.

"It is alright, enjoy your journey. I'll be here when you return." He said in a rush before walking away.

A confused expression crossed your face. He looked out the window of the kingdom with a perfect view of down below.

Faramir watched you smile, and laugh, while riding away with Boromir and some guards. Your beauty took over his mind, he wished he could have been the one by your side. Not just on the journey but the rest of his life.

Another ear piercing scream snapped him out of his trance. Everything fell silent.

He froze for a few minutes. Waiting, impatiently. Nothing.

The door slowly opened. Revealing the woman that escorted him out earlier.

"How is she? Is (y/n) alright!" He stood and looked urgently at the woman.

"She will live, yes, but she will need time to heal. You may see her in a few hours time." The woman said calmly. Faramir sighed in relief and hugged the woman tightly.

"Thank you so much." He mumbled.

"Your very welcome." She smiled at him. He returned it. Relief overcame him and he sat back down.

"(Y/n)?" Faramir spoke softly entering the room you lay awake in.

You smiled softly at him. You loved this man. You were glad to see he didn't stay upset like the day you left.

"Faramir." Your voice raspy.

"I'm so glad your alright." He said standing next to the bed.

"You may sit on the bed, if you wish, Faramir." You chuckled.

He sat down and looked deeply in your (y/e/c) eyes. You decided to bring up Boromir. You wondered what had happened to him and if Faramir had heard anything.

"Is Boromir alright?" You said. Faramir looked down, the smile disappearing from his face.

"We have heard nothing of him." He mumbled but you heard.

"Why must you look away when Boromir is mentioned, he is your brother, not just some common man." You said.

"You sound like my father." He sounded upset.

"What has been bothering you?" You asked. His mood seemed to darken.

"Why does it matter? Clearly the only person that means something to you is Boromir, for no matter if it was me who brought you to the healers the first thing you wander when you awaken is still, of him. Even if it is just kindness I know I mean nothing to you, I love you with my whole heart and you love him with yours. So my mood would really make no importance in your mind of flowing thought." He said with slight anger in his voice to which you weren't used too.

You were hurt of his words, you thought it was obvious your feelings for him, not his brother. You thought to your childhood, when playing games you would always pick faramir on your team, one time in the village you both signed up for a three legged race, and won on that note.

Growing up with him, your feelings were always directed more to him than Boromir. Denethor was the one to push Faramir away, not you.

"What makes you believe I love Boromir over you? Was it the forced feelings your father tried to push upon us, or was it something I said. Think of our childhood...when we played games you were always on my team, I choose you, you were my favorite you are the one that I care of most, Boromir is nothing to me but a dear friend. If you listened less to your fathers poison he calls language then you would know, its always been you." You said slightly annoyed but gentle.

He looked up to you with hurt in his eyes.

You knew how his father hurts him, you would always be the one to say something when it happened.

"Is this of a dream? Could you actually love me." He said.

"If this is a dream I do not wish to awaken." You replied sincerely.

"Me either." He softly spoke, your eyes not losing contact, inches became centimetres and the space between you was broken with a kiss.
