So sorry I haven't been updating very well, I will get my game better very soon, I haven't done one of him in a while so here it is, hope you enjoy!!

"Bard, how are you going to lead these people? Its hard enough to keep our own children safe in these circumstances." You sighed,

"I don't know (y/n), but we have to try, the master has abandoned us, I cannot do the same to these people."
"Our neighbors, we need to stick with our own and do what we can to help them. Even if we can barely help ourselves." He said sincerely.

"Bard!" One of the men called out.

"Go, I'll help the women and children." You said simply, giving your husband a quick kiss.

"Alright." He said, before walking to the group of men that were willing to help him scavage the remains from Smaug's attack the night before.

"Miss (y/n)?" An elder lady came up to you.

"Yes, I am coming." You said softly, turning to the woman and helping her with whatever she needed.

"Bain! Come back!" You yelled after your son, he had run away from shelter and you were determined to keep him safe.

"Sigrid, Tilda, stay here." You said sternly, running after Bain.

Bain had found Bard in the battle, and rushed to help him.

"Bain? Why aren't you with your mother?!" He yelled.

"I wanted to help you Da."

"Bard! Bain!" You came around the corner with your sword drawn.

"Bard behind you!" You said urgently, it was then that an orc came and sliced a cut in your husbands arm. Bard froze. You got closer and pushed Bain out of the way, you fought off the orcs as best you could.

"Bain, bring your father to shelter!" You commanded. Bard was getting more light headed by the second, the cut went deep.

Bain quickly rushed his father through the pile of orcs you were fighting off.

Before long the battle was over, you had heard the line of Durin was broken, and their hobbit was going to be on his way home. You felt sadness for the remainder dwarves, you had got on with them while they stayed at your home in Laketown and were saddened of the news.

But you had to get to Bard, there was no answer on if he was alright by this hour, you rushed to the shelter, passing through some curious women and children looking for their men.

You entered and found Bard laying on the floor, Bain on his right, Sigrid and Tilda on his left. You hurried over.

"Sigrid, Tilda, please get me a warm cloth and some water. Bain, please sit elsewhere. I will tell you when he's conscious." You said. They obeyed.

You looked down to your husband, and sighed.

"Bard...come back to me...Bard." You spoke softly, you felt for his pulse, it was still there, within seconds you heard his breathing.

Although he hadn't awaken. You still felt relief that he was alright.

"Here Ma." Sigrid said, entering the shelter with the cloth and water.

"Alright, all of you I need some time alone with your Da, I will come get you when he is awake and well." You replied.

"But Da-" Bain started but you gave him a look of seriousness.

They all gave you a hug before leaving you with Bard.

You sat Bard up at best you could, and took his jacket and work shirt off, you sighed thinking that he was so close to getting stabbed and leaving you due to his lack of armor.

You wet the cloth and dabbed it on his wound, Bard's eyes fluttered open at the pain.

"(Y/n)." He said gently, you looked to his eyes.

"Bard, your awake." You hugged him, trying to avoid his wound.

"Where's Bain? Did you get harmed?" He said quickly, sitting up a bit more.

"He's with the others, along with his sisters, and no I'm alright." You chuckled at his worry.

He sighed with relief.

"Now will you sit still so I can help you?"

He smiled, and lent up against the wall. Looking at you with adoration.

A minute a silence came about.

"I'm glad your awake. I was beginning to worry." You said, breaking the silence.

"No need to worry love, I would have awaken even if the orc stabbed me directly in the heart." He replied with pride, you shook your head smiling.

"We all know you couldn't."

"Don't be logical, love isn't logical." He smiled at you, you chuckled.

"No, but it is blind." You said.
"If it weren't for Bain running out, and me running after him you wouldn't have gotten hurt. You wouldn't have been blinded by love, and worry." Your eyes started to fill with tears.

Bard placed his hand on the cloth and pushed your hand down. You looked in his eyes.

"If love is blind why do I see such beauty in you." He spoke softly.

You blushed, looked down, then back up to his eyes.

He cut you off before you could speak with a kiss. He lingered for as long as he could, he didn't get to kiss you this way very often, due to the kids and his busy schedule.

You separated with a chuckle.

"We haven't kissed like that in a very long while." You said.

"It was nice wasn't it." He smirked, you giggled.

"I suppose." You played, and picked up a bandage so to wrap it around his arm.

"I have to go get Bain, I promised him I'd let him know when you were conscious, which was a delayed promise." You said, standing.
"Don't fall asleep just yet. He was really worried about you."

Bard nodded with a smile, you then left to get Bain.

"Da!" Bain spike urgently, running towards his father.

"My boy." Bard smiled.

Bain hugged his father tight, with a sigh of relief, you smiled down at your men.

Sigrid stood next to you, and Tilda hid behind your back hugging your waist.

"Da." Sigrid ran to her Father, not wanting to stay back anymore.

"Go on Tilda." You said gently.

She hid more in your dress. You brought her out and gave her a soft push. She couldn't contain her excitement any longer and hugged her Father.

Bard laughed at the hugs he received, he was joyful that his family was safe.

"Your turn." Bard said to you.

You chuckled, and joined your family in a big family cuddle.

You all stayed that way until slumber took over everyone, Bard to be the last one asleep. He admired the look of his beautiful family fast asleep, and at peace, for once in the crazy while they had, now things would go back to normal.
