How You Met Them
Frodo: While you were attending the council of Lord Elrond in Rivendell, you noticed a young hobbit bringing out the Ring of Power in front of everyone. That was the moment you realized that he was carrying such burden and anxiety including when he chose to take the Ring to Mordor to destroy it. With as many courage and bravery, you decided to sacrifice yourself to help him do away with the Ring for the sake of Middle Earth by joining the other nine members of the Fellowship.
Sam: You first met this gentleman hobbit while setting tables of food at Bilbo's birthday party. It started out when you complimented on how creative and beautiful his food were made. Both of you had a small talk and then started getting to know each other about your life and stuff. During Bilbo's party, you finally get to dance with Sam and get to help yourself to his lovely food.
Pippin: Pippin is funny but also a trouble maker of the Hobbits. You found him snooping around Farmer Maggot's garden picking mushrooms and carrots. You were anxious about what he was doing on his regular basis. When both of you heard Farmer Maggot's angry commotion, Pippin grabbed your hand and both of you darted through the cornfield and out of the farm. "Stay off my field!!" Was the last thing you and him heard from Farmer Maggot as both of you completely exited his forbidden property. "Phew! That was close!" He panted and laughed. "Well, you shouldn't be doing this in the future, Pip." You chuckled back to him.
Merry: Merry is also a troublemaker like Pippin. At Bilbo's party you saw him and Pippin sneaking into the the tent of Gandalf's fireworks to play with them. Out of curiosity, you followed them into the tent to see what they're up to. "Are you sure you guys know what you're doing?" You asked them nervously, worried about getting into trouble. As they lighted up the firecrackers, they started popping up the jam by cracking them causing magnificent fireworks to pop repeatedly all over the tent with all the loud noises. As the three of you attempted to run out of the tent, BAM! Gandalf caught you three playing with his firecrackers without permission. "Well, that went well." Merry told you. "Yeah, I guess. Hehe." You responded, thinking of what consequences you'll get from Gandalf afterwards.
Aragorn: When you were walking around the town of Bree, you stopped by the Prancing Pony restaurant for dinner. You were tired and exhausted after your work in the bakery and running the baker's errands. Not knowing that you're the only beautiful girl in the town, a few times you felt a long cloaked figure with a smoking pipe staring at you from the isolated table. With your courage, you walked up to the dark figure and asked "Who are you? Do you need something?" When that tall figure took his hood off and introduced himself, you realized he is Arathorn's son and heir to the Kingdom of Gondor. As you and Aragorn shared each other's story and getting to know each other, you both became friends and began to trust each other no matter what.
Legolas: You were running Lord Elrond's errand by bringing an important message to King Thranduil. As you are walking across the trails of Mirkwood forest, you saw something very scary and unexpected in front of you. A group of orcs appeared nearby! With a panic you left the trails and ran through the forest while being chased by orcs. When you tripped over one of the stones and fell, and one of the orcs began his axe. Before he could end your life, an arrow whizzed out of nowhere and pierced through the orc's throat. Then numerous elves jumped out and ambushed the orcs one by one, which you thought they might not show up. Once the elves were finished with killing them off, they parted ways as the leader, a handsome elf with stunning glacial blue eyes found you wounded from tripping to the ground. He accompanied you all the way to the Mirkwood Palace to get you healed up and some rest. And that's when you realized you started to fall for the Elf Prince and to trust him.
Gimli: Surrounded by all the noisy people in the kingdom of Rohan, you saw something quite strange and interesting. You witnessed the drinking game between a dwarf and an elf. As a human, you can't choose which race to cheer for because you have a good relationship with them while elves and dwarves each other don't. As a servant of King Theoden, you were cleaning some of the tables of the dining room, you were in shock when you noticed that the red-headed dwarf drank several cups of beer and he wouldn't stop drinking as he wanted win the drinking game over the blonde elf, Legolas. But then, he fainted backward from his seat completely drunk, making the elf a winner. You bent down next him, waved your hand to his face and said "Hello? Are you okay down there?" But didn't get the dwarf's response but his large burp. Thanks to him that you have to clean up the table piled up with all of his cups.
Boromir: Being a maid in the kingdom of Gondor has been a difficult thing. One day you were cleaning the throne room, the biggest part of Minas Tirith owned by Boromir's father Denethor, who was also a Steward of Gondor, and you felt someone spying on you. You flipped around and saw a tall stocky figure with shoulder-length caramel hair watching you cleaning up for quite a while. It was Boromir. "Hi. May I help you?" You asked. "Can I help you with the clean-up?" The man asked. "You seemed tired." "No thank-you." You replied. "I'm pretty used to cleaning the palace anyway." As you picked up a china vase to put it back onto the cupboard, you slipped and dropped it onto the floor with a crash. "My lady, are you alright? Are you hurt?" Boromir rushed in. "No." You said. "I accidentally broke a vase. I'm really sorry!" Then you both heard loud stomps storming into the throne room. It was Denethor. He angrily berated you for being so clumsy for breaking stuff but luckily Boromir stepped up and covered for you by lying to his father that he broke the vase by walking past by it. And that was when you thought he has some sort of feelings for you despite that you were only a servant.
Faramir: After the fall of the Lord of the Ring and Aragorn became King of Gondor, Faramir and Eowyn finally married and had two sons. In the gardens of Minas Tirith, you watched with a smile as Faramir teaching one of them to walk to him. You loved children and you wished you can see Faramir's family more often. With your courage, you walked up to Faramir and Eowyn and complimented their children about how adorable and obedient they are to them. While their sons played around the garden, you had some nice chats with the couple and became pretty fast friends with them. After numerous times visiting them at Minas Tirith, Faramir and Eowyn finally hired you as a babysitter for their sons and you also became their godmother. It was the new beginning of your life.
Bilbo: After losing your parents to orcs a few weeks ago, you've been searching for shelter for a long period of time. You were one of the Dunédain wanderers seeking refuge around Middle Earth. Hours after being refused for food and shelter around the town, you found one particular peaceful part of the land, the Shire, where the hobbits which you've never seen before, resided. You walked up to one of the houses, the one with a round green door and shyly knocked. "Hello, there." A hobbit with curly dirty blonde hair greeted as he opened the door. "Do you need any help?" You burst into tears and told him about your story and everything that happened back then and that you're seeking a place to live. Hearing this, the hobbit felt immediately sorry for you and that you can stay with him as much as you wish. "Thank-you so much, Mr. Baggins." You said. "I don't know how I can repay you." "No, it's fine." Bilbo said. "I can see you've been through a lot. And you can just call me Bilbo."
Thorin: You were awoken by the sound of laughing and singing. As you followed the sound of commotion, you were dumbfounded to see the big hoard of dwarves playing music and throwing food around the dining room, with Bilbo being discouraged by their behaviour and Gandalf laughing off. You found yourself in the middle of an unexpected party until you heard loud knocks on the door. When you opened the door, you were stunned to see a solemn dwarf waiting outside of Bilbo's house. "Hello." You said. "Welcome to the Shire. I'm (Y/N)." "Thorin Oakenshield." The dwarf replied in a flat, stubborn voice. He turned to the company of his dwarves. "I've been looking everywhere for you guys."
Thranduil: Your parents sent you away from your village when it was being attacked by orcs. This was to avoid being taken as one of their slaves. To ensure your safety, your parents think it would be best for you to reside in the nearby Woodland Realm until your family and the other villagers find a new place to call home. You kept a letter to King Thranduil telling of the reason you need to stay with him on your way to the Woodland Realm. When you finally reached to the Elven kingdom, King Thranduil and the other Woodland elves welcomed you with open arms when you first met them and raised you like you're one of their members of their family.
Elrond: You injured your waist during the battle against orcs. As you blacked out, the elves took you all the way to Rivendell to get you healed as soon as possible. "(Y/N), head my voice and be awaken." It was a voice of Lord Elrond and slowly, you woke up from your sleep and saw that your waist is completely healed. "H-hello." You stuttered. "Where am I?" "You are in Rivendell, dear." Elrond smiled. "Welcome." "Oh hi. I'm (Y/N)." You said. "Thank-you for healing me up." "I'm Elrond." Lord Elrond replied. "Lord of Rivendell."
Fili: When you were hiking in the Blue Mountains one summer, little did you know, you dropped your bracelet on the ground. Few hours later, you realized your bracelet was gone and searched for it around the area of the mountains, until you felt a few taps on your shoulder behind you. You turned around to see it was a blonde dwarf prince handing over your lost bracelet to you, with a smile. "Oh, thank-you so much, your highness!" You said as you politely took it from him and gave him a quick bow. "No problem, miss." He replied. "And please just call me Fili. I'm not very into formalities." "Thank-you, Fili." You said. "I'm (Y/N). Please to meet you. And again, thank-you for finding my bracelet."
Kili: After Smaug the dragon attacked your homeland, Erebor, you and your family settled in the Blue Mountains to start a new life. Your life was very difficult and sad in your new home until you saw a young handsome dark-haired dwarf prince performing some jokes and funny stories to the group of children. That was the moment you started to become attracted to him, not just because of his handsome looks but also he was considerate and makes others happy. So you decided to go meet him. As you joined the other children, the dwarf prince noticed you quickly. "Hi there!" He bubbly waved his hand. "Are You new here?" "Yes." You said. "I'm (Y/N). Good to see you." "I'm Kili." Kili said. "At your service!" He bowed. "Welcome to our kingdom!"
Bard: When you were on your way home from work, you saw a man sitting on the docks outside his house, looking very miserable and overwhelmed. As you sat next to Bard, you talked and asked him what was wrong, you learned that he recently lost his wife from illness after giving birth to his third child Tilda. He had been grieving for a long time and felt overwhelmed about raising his three children all by himself. So you gave Bard your written address in case he needs anything including with the help of raising his children. And you would be glad to do whatever you can to make him feel better and comfortable. Eventually, everytime you finish work, you frequently go over to Bard's house to help him take care of them. (So compassionate!)
