Fili imagine

Growing up as Bilbo's niece in the Shire was something very surprising and unexpected for Rachel and Bilbo when a hoard of thirteen dwarves arrived at his house, Bag End. It was also the moment when Fili, one of the Dwarf Princes caused her to have some sort of feelings for him, which she never experienced in her life. Rachel felt like she saw a radiant light in Fili when he entered Bag End, and she gets impressed by his singing and how he played with her Uncle Bilbo's dishes with Kili, much to Bilbo's annoyance. When Rachel learned of the destruction of the Dwarven kingdom, Erebor and that the dwarves must go reclaim it, she became eager to go on a journey with them, despite Thorin, the future King of Erebor's refusal and hesitation.

As the journey began, Rachel started having feelings for Fili, but she was worried that Bilbo won't approve her love towards him due to the fact that she was a hobbit and Fili was a dwarf both of different races. Even Fili started to attract Rachel, he too, was nervous about telling Thorin, his uncle about it, so they decided to keep their thoughts visible to themselves and secretive to them.

When Thorin's company including Rachel were taken prisoners by the Mirkwood elves, Bilbo had not been caught and began searching around the palace to set them free. Fili's cell was right next here. Meanwhile, when Fili and Rachel watched his brother Kili, talking with Tauriel about all the stars and bonding with each other, that was the moment when the Dwarf prince and the She-Hobbit were about to prepare for their confession.

"When will we ever be free from this mess?" Rachel asked in a sullen manner, looking at the patch of dawn of sky and sun that barely risen from the window of her cell.

"Very soon, hopefully, my love." Fili replied at last.

"What did you say to me?" Rachel's eyes went wide.

"Rachel, I've been madly in love with you when I first saw you." Fili began. "I was afraid to show my feelings towards you for that my uncle would be disapproved of the love between the two of us."

"I heard that!" A voice shouted from across the hall of cells. It was Thorin. He had been hearing all the conversation between those newly couple-to-be!

"Uh-oh." Rachel stuttered.

"Oh, great." Fili slouched, putting his hand on his forehead.

~Time skips~

After Bilbo released Rachel and the dwarves from Mirkwood, they seeked refuge in Laketown until it was completely destroyed by Smaug the dragon. Rachel and Fili wanted to stay on the lake shores with Tauriel to help the rest of the surviving Laketowners, but they had no choice but to sail to the Lonely Mountain to find Bilbo, Thorin and their company. As they arrived in Erebor, Thorin, who now was crowned king, called up to Fili and Rachel.

"I overheard all the stuff you and Rachel said back in the Woodland Realm." Thorin said in a serious tone of voice. "Why did you not tell me earlier that you found someone you love?"

"I was scared to." Fili looked down at the floor. Rachel placed her hand on his shoulder.

"I see." Thorin scoffed. His eyes moved towards the young hobbit. "So Rachel, is it honestly true that you love my nephew?"

"Yes." She nodded. "I've been in love with him ever since you and your company came over to the Shire. Like Fili, I kept my love for him private until he and I saw Kili..." Rachel froze suddenly.

"What about Kili?" Thorin demanded.

"Kili...uh.."

"Stop stuttering, She-Hobbit!" Thorin raised his voice a bit higher. "Just explain."

"Kili...falling for Tauriel, the She-Elf from Mirkwood. I love him with all my heart." Thorin's eyes went wide open.

"Kili WHAT??!!" He roared.

Oops. Rachel thought. Fili smacked his forehead.

"Kili!!" Thorin yelled in a terrible voice. "Get over here RIGHT NOW!" Out of nowhere, Kili sprang into the throne room. "Yes, uncle?" He asked, looking rather scared.

"Is this true?!" Thorin shot Kili a harsh look. "You are in love with some Elf? A race that's one of our enemies?"

"But uncle, Tauriel and I have some stuff in common." Kili tried to explain. "She saved my life twice from the baddies! On top of that, she healed my wound back in Laketown which I got from the Orc's poison arrow during our escape!"

"Mildly interesting." Thorin rolled his eyes. "Either way, Kili, you have no right to love that She-Elf and that's final!"

"We'll see about that!" Kili snapped and stormed out of the throne room.

Thorin then turned to Fili and Rachel.

"Rachel, I'm going to have to speak with Bilbo about this too so he and I can discuss this subject." Thorin finished.

When this dramatic conversation was over, Fili and Rachel calmly walked up to Kili, who was sitting on the stairs arms crossed and looking very mad.

"Kili, we..." Fili tried to say.

"Why did you tell Uncle Thorin about me being into Tauriel?" Kili asked angrily.

"We didn't mean to tell him that, Kili." Rachel explained. "We didn't wanted to but...we had no choice but it sort of slipped out!"

"Yeah!" Fili said. "Even I'm in love with this girl who is of different race too, you know."

"Like I care. Anyways, I'm gonna marry Tauriel whether Thorin cares or not." Kili said. "She's my one and only love and no one is allowed to stop me!" He got up from the staircase and flounced away.

"This is all my fault." Rachel burst into tears. She felt bad for Kili as she knew that he wasn't allowed to marry an Elf he loved the most. She didn't know much about the feud between the Dwarves and Elves until Thorin yelled at Kili.

"No, it isn't." Fili wrapped his arm around her shoulder. "I know you didn't want to tell my uncle but we both had no choice but to tell him that."

"Yeah." Rachel agreed. "He just wanted us to do what he tells us to do." Fili nodded.

"But still we don't know whether Thorin's going to approve the love between us." Rachel sobbed nervously. "But we don't want to be in Kili and Tauriel's shoes either."

"I know, sweetheart." Fili pulled her in a tight embrace. "I know."

~I'm gonna skip the Battle of the Five Armies and the line of Durin survives~

A few days after the Battle of the Five Armies, Bilbo and King Thorin called up to Fili and Rachel to the throne room again.

"What is it now, uncle?" Fili zoomed in front of Bilbo and Thorin with Rachel.

"Your uncle and I have talked it over, and since you and him helped a lot with our journey of reclaiming our homeland, you are welcome to stay here in Erebor." Thorin smiled. "And as a reward, you and Fili shall be courting next month."

"Really?!" Rachel and Fili's eyes went wide open.

"Yes." Thorin replied. "This is how I repay you, Rachel."

"Th-thank you so much!" Rachel said with close to tears of joy.

"But what about Kili?" Fili asked his uncle.

"Well." Thorin began with a sigh. "Kili has made his choice. I tried to talk to him in terms of Dwarf and Elf relationships but he keeps disagreeing me about this issue. So I have no choice but to let Kili marry Tauriel anyway as I can see she has a kind heart."

"That's AWESOME!" Fili and Rachel yelled at the same time. "We're going to get married!" Rachel cupped Fili's cheeks and gave him a big loving kiss, knowing that they will starting a new life.

"What about you, uncle Bilbo?" She finally asked as she and Fili pulled their kiss apart.

"Well, I must be heading back to the Shire with Gandalf this week." Bilbo said. "But he and I will visit you all for the wedding."

"Oh, I'm going to miss you so much, my uncle." Rachel wrapped her arms around him.

"I'm going to miss you too, Rachel." Bilbo hugged her back. "And all of you, my dwarf friends."

~1 month later~

It was a beautiful wedding. Fili and Rachel finally got married and their wedding took place in Erebor, and at the same time Kili and Tauriel got married and their lives were more than just happy, but also full of love and care. Bilbo, Gandalf and all the other dwarves including Thranduil, Elrond and some other elves attended the wedding. Rachel and Tauriel became new Princesses under the Lonely Mountain and they were like sisters to each other. As Kili and Tauriel became married couples, this helped to gain good relationship between the Dwarves and Elves at some point or another.

Rachel and Fili knew this wasn't the end after their great adventure from her homeland all the way to take back Thorin's kingdom. It turned to the new chapter, the new beginning and the new journey of their lives. With love.

~THE END!~^^
