Hey there you beautiful person!

Since the last update, I have been working on some drabbles and some chapters for my books, before I publish them however, I need some more time to finish them to my liking.

Until then, I thought that I would give something back to you. 

Because a lot of you guys have been there for me through the great and the rough times. And I want to show you that it has meant, and still means,a lot to me.

As you can tell by the title, I'm holding a contest. 

A Tolkien themed writing contest. Of course. What else?

Let me start of by saying that you don't need to follow me to enter. That is not what I'm after. I want you to get inspired by the stories of others. And I want to give back to the community that has given me so much.

The rules:

- The theme is 'Tolkien'. So you can write about Tolkien himself, about his books, it just has to be Tolkien related. 

- It has to be a short story. No more than 2000 words. 

- It can also be a poem.

- No swearing/glorifying rape/stories that have nothing to do with the theme.

- You have to be able to give me your adress so you can receive your price in case you win. I will tell you about the price down below. So either you are above 18 years of age, or you have your parents' permission. Yes, I need them to e-mail me with their permission if you are under 18.

- You have to send in your submission before 12 pm on the 28th of February 2019, CET. If you send your story/poem in after that, than you can't join.

- It has to be a new story, not yet published on your own Wattpad account. 

- The story has to be written in English. 

- By sending in your story, you're giving me permission to post your story in this book if you've won. You will always be credited as the writer/poet/artist. 

So get to writing, you have a little more than a month to send in your story. Depending on how many people send in their stories, I will announce the winner of the contest on the 7th of March 2019, here in this book.

And what can you win, you ask... Well. I have thought about it for a bit. And I am not sure if people are interested in it. But I thought it would be a cool idea (read: I'm open to suggestions).

3rd place: A 'Hobbiton Meadow Mint Tea' box and the glory of coming in third.

2nd place: A 'Hobbiton Meadow Mint Tea' box and 'Tree by Niggle' from Tolkien.

1st place: A 'Hobbition Meadow Mint Tea' box, 'Tree by Niggle' from Tolkien, and a 'The Hobbit Moleskine Notebook'.

* The tea also comes in two other flavours: 'Gandalf the Grey Tea (Camomile/and something else)' and 'Bilbo Baggins Breakfast Blend Tea (Cinnamon/Orange/Black tea)'. So if you don't like mint, you can let me know which one you prefer in case you win.

After that, depending on how many people have send in their stories, I will announce the winner on the 7th of March. 

Two friends of mine are going to help me decide who will win the prices. To keep it fair. One of them likes Tolkien too, the other doesn't really but knows what good writing is. 

I think that this is all you need to know. 

Oh, before I reveal the winners I will also showcase some 'honorable mentions'. Just because there are only 3 prices to win doesn't mean that the other stories weren't good!

I will be looking forward to reading your stories. Don't hesitate to send yours in. Don't doubt yourself. We all start somewhere. 

The first time I posted a story here on Wattpad was the scariest day of my life. 

So don't be afraid my friend, and send in your story. You deserve to be heard.
