Imagine Thorin racing Azog

Imagine requested by icecreamy2 ; Imagine Thorin and his squad as popular guys in their cars. Racing against Azog. And them picking you up from school?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'll be there in fifteen - Thorin put his phone away after hitting send. "Guys, I have to leave. I will see you all tomorrow morning" he announced.
Bofur and Gloin waved at him and continued on with their work. Only one more car needed to be finished that day, they could handle it on their own.
"Going to pick your lassies up from school?" Dwalin asked him. He handed his boss a fresh shirt who gladly accepted it.
Thorin pulled his dirty, greasy shirt up over his head and threw it in the corner of the work shop. "Aye, (y/n) just texted me. They will be done for the day in about 20 minutes. I told her I would be there in 15."
His cell phone vibrated.
"And that is probably your lass reminding you of the fact that the school is half an hour away. Don't scare her like that."
Thorin smiled. "She knows who she married. And besides, I already take it easier with my car. Before I met her I would have made it to the school and back in 10." He winked at his oldest friend. "I'l see you tomorrow."
They clapped each other on the back.
"Don't do anything I wouldn't do!" Dwalin called after him.
Thorin only waved back. He couldn't make any promises.
His car was an old race car that he had managed to repair. The owner had sold the car to Thorin' garage after a critical accident that left the car 'demolished'. Thorin had tried to convince him that he could repair it but to no avail.
Instead of getting rid of it Thorin had invested a lot of time in trying to repair the vehicle.
And after a couple of months he actually succeeded.
That was when times were simpler and he didn't have a family to worry about.
He did now. So instead of taking his old race car he drove the new family car out of the shop and onto the road.
'My girl' from Dylan Scott blasted through his car. Thorin turned the first corner and was greeted by a most unpleasant sight. "Azog" he said through gritted teeth.
The car of his enemy could be spotted from miles away. For starters his car was painted with a bright yellow hue that made Thorin want to vomit.
Then it had blue stripes on it that Thorin just didn't get. They were just stripes. Where were the special designs or the simplicity of a great car?
And then there was the afwul music coming from the car.
Azog always drove with his windows all the way down. It was known that you could hear Azog coming before you could spot his car from away. And that said something.
Thorin tried to keep his eyes on the road ahead. He didn't want to get into trouble today.
Not after spending a night in jail last week for hitting Azog on the jaw.
Right now he just wanted to pick his wife and daughter up from school. Otherwise they would have to walk home and he couldn't do that to them.
That is why it was a shame when Azog noticed him.
Thorin thought for a second that he had gotten away with driving normally, but after Azog passed he actually turned his car. And now he was driving alongside him.
He was lucky there was little traffic on this road.
Instead of rolling down his own windows, Thorin kept them up. Maybe if he simply didn't ignored the other driver he would give up.
Of course not. A milkshake was thrown at his window.
Thorin sighed, counted to ten, and turned his window down. "What do you want?" he asked gruffly.
Azog chuckled, keeping his eyes on Thorin instead of the road. "Aren't you supposed to be in your shop at this time of day? Or did they finally close your shitty shop down?"
"No, they didn't, they actually stopped by to ask for directions to your shop. They couldn't ask anyone else because no knows your shop even exists" Thorin replied.
He put his foot on the gas to make it clear that he conversation was over.
Azog didn't let him drive away that easily. "Maybe we should settle this once and for all?"
Thorin rolled his eyes. "Not this again. The last time we competed against each other, you actually drove yourself into a river. I don't want to have to drag you out again."
"You didn't actually drag me out. The police did. You were standing on the shore laughing your ass off" Azog reminded him.
Thorin smiled. "Oh, yes, I probably did. That does sound like me."
Azog drove closer to Thorin' car, almost bumping up against him. "Did you give your balls to your woman? Maybe I should go to her and show what a real man is made off." Azog spead off into the distance.
Thorin put on his sunglasses. And followed him, putting his foot down fully on the gas.
He was right on Azog' trail. The other man only had a small advantage. Still, his own 'race' car couldn't even compete with Thorin' four seater. Now he was the one having to drive on the other side of the road to pass Azog.
"Can you tell me if my back lights are working?" Thorin yelled over the howling wind. "You should be able to tell in a few seconds." Thorin easily got in front of Azog' make shift car.
The other man gritted his teeth. He tried to go even faster to collide with Thorin' car. If he couldn't win then he would play dirty.
What he didn't count on, though, was that there was an obstruction on the road ahead. One that only Thorin could see since he was in the lead.
A smug smile crossed over Thorin' lips. He would stay in on this side of the road long enough to distract Azog. Just a few more seconds...
He pulled on his wheel, sending him to the other side of the road and away from the obstacle.
Azog looked at his enemies car who appeared to change lanes without any real reason when- He drove up to a ramp that the construction people used to stop traffic from driving into a big, almost bottomless pit.
Why they used a ramp instead of a stop- or warning sign? Well, for that sake of this story, that is why.
"Not again" Azog growled. His car landed somewhere deep down and got stuck in the mud immediately. The construction people were yelling at him.
Thorin looked back in his rear view mirror and smiled. Sharply he took the next turn and came to a screeching halt in front of the play ground of his daughter' school.
Just in time for his two most loved woman in the whole world.
You walked up to the car, shaking your head. A disapproving frown on your face.
Thorin got out to open the door for your daughter.
"Daddy!" she yelled excitedly, throwing herself in his arms. He held her close. "Where is the race car?" she asked.
"Thorin?"
He put a finger on his mouth that only his daughter could see. She nodded. Maybe he had picked up your daughter with the race car when you were running late and couldn't be there on time. Who was to know?
"Our child has a lot of imagination, doesn't she?" he said. Before you could question him, he placed his lips on yours. Every kiss with him took your breath away.
"That better be it" you spoke sternly, hitting him on his chest.
Thorin strapped his little one into the backseat and helped you in as well. Together you drove off as a happy, normal-ish family.
You had to wait for a bit on the next road because apparently an accident had occured just a few minutes before.
"Do you think there is anything wrong with the driver?" you asked worried, looking back over your shoulder when you passed.
Thorin had to stop himself from smiling. "There probably already was something wrong with him before he drove into that pit."
