Imagine Pop!Thorin #4

The next story based on a picture from Little Thorin! ^^

A sad update though... I bought Gandalf and Bilbo somewhere last year but they neve came in. So I contacted the shop I bought them at and they forgot to tell me that the pops are not made anymore... :( It will only be Thorin.

Honestly, it is Thorin. Do we need more?

"I still can't believe you don't like Richard" Nathalie sighed. She was sitting behind her desk, writing another paper for school.

Thorin sat on her desk, right next to her pencil sharpner. He was happily nibbling on a chocolate cookie. "Who is that man you speak of?" he asked, taking another bite. Sometimes he didn't even try to hide his jealousy.

"Mmmm" was her answer.

He looked up to see that she was focused on her book, not on him. Thorin smiled kindly. It was so cute when she was having a conversation with him while only talking to herself.

Thorin chuckled. "As long as it isn't that faker who pretends to be me, you are allowed to think about him." Which wasn't entirely accurate. He would still be jealous. Just a little less.

A little less.

When he still didn't get a reply he decided to try something else. "I do think that you should bring me more cookies. That way, when you are not here, I can just help myself. More of these chocolate ones would be great" he said.

"Not a chance" Nathalie said. She was half listening to him.

A pout appeared on his lips. "So you are listening to what I am saying?"

Nathalie shrugged. "When I want to, yes. Most of what you say isn't important."

Thorin threw the remainders of his cookie on the table. It left crumbles everywhere. He got up from his seat that was her eraser and grabbed his sword. "NOT IMPORTANT?! I am Thorin Oakenshield! You should take my word as gospel!"

"Mmmm" she said.

"Unbelievable. Women" Thorin muttered.

"Oh! I got you something!" Nathalie suddenly announced. She pushed herself away from her desk to reach for her bag. It took some time to find what she was looking for.

Thorin never understood why she carried that much stuff in there anyway.

Finally, she found it. She proudly presented a stone to him.

Thorin raised an unimpressed eyebrow. "A stone?

"Don't be like that. Look!" Nathalie grabbed another stone and put the 'special' stone up against it so it was standing. "Can you see it too?" she asked.

He wasn't sure what she meant. All he saw was a stone. Why was his human so excited about it? "What am I supposed to see?" he asked gently. He had learned that patience was something that worked well with this woman.

She pointed at a particular space on the stone. "It looks like a face, doesn't it?" she asked excitedly.

Thorin tilted his head to the right. "No idea what you're talking about."

"Seriously?" Nathalie grabbed him and held him closer. "What about now?"

"Holding me closer to it won't make me see what you see" he commented dryly.

She put him back down with a loud huff. "You just don't want to see it.

"I would love to see it and I would if it was there" Thorin said.

Nathalie stuck her nose in the air out of sheer stubborness. "The least you can do is say 'thank you'. It was a gift after all."

Seeing that he had no other choice but to apologize he bowed and exactly that. If he didn't, then who knew when he would get another cookie.

"My apologies Nathalie. I thank you for the beautiful stone-"

"Stone with a face" she corrected him.

Thorin nodded impatiently. "Aye, thank you for the stone with a face. I see it now. And I appreciate it."

She finally smiled again. "Was that so hard?"

"I think it burned me from the inside out" he said, pretending to be hurt.

"No it didn't, grow a pair" she said. Nathalie grabbed another cookie for him since the other one was nothing more then a small pile of crumbles. "Would you like another one?"

Thorin sat back down and accepted his new cookie with grace.
