Imagine Kili and Elra - Part 2
This was requested a long time ago by dragonsoul22 . Sorry that it took so long but finally it is here :) Today's imagine is kind of a second part to the first request but can also be read as a stand alone story; The character is called Elra who has caught the eye of Kili. She has her own dragon called Toothless. Romantic but not cheesy.
Here we go. I hope this was romantic enough for you :)

After the hilarious first meeting (in her eyes at least), Elra decided that she should probably change her attitude towards the dwarves. Especially when she noticed that some of them were still glaring at Toothless.
"Maybe we could have them warm up to you a bit?" she whispered to Toothless. "It would probably help if you stopped eating the largest part of the meat every night."
Toothless jumped around playfully.
Elra hid her expression behind her hand. What was she going to do?
"I don't mind your dragon at all." Kili walked up beside her. His hand reached up to Toothless' nose with a slight tremble to it. He visibly swallowed. "Euhm... well, maybe I do mind him just a tad" he said, withdrawing his hand.
Toothless nudged her shoulder. As Elra turned she saw her dragon looking from Kili to her and back. He nudged her shoulder again.
"Elra? I know I don't know anything about dragons but... I think he is trying to tell you something."
When the dragon suddenly started jumping up and down, Kili took a step back.
"Don't get too excited Toothless, we want them to like us" Elra tried to remember her dragon. But before her words reached his ears, he was already scamming up a good plan.
Out of nowhere he jumped forward, tried to dive under Kili and lifted him up with a hard nudge of his head. Kili was lifted into the air which earned a loud and surprised shout from him. "What is going on Elra?" he asked confused.
There was a new vibration present in his voice.
"ELRA?!" he asked again when he got no reply.
She shook her head, trying not to burst out laughing. In front of her, Toothless was now waiting proudly for her to step on his back. Kili on the other hand was holding on to the dragon' neck with white knuckles.
"Can I get off now?" he asked. Elra climbed on behind Kili. "I guess not" he murmured.
"Don't be afraid" Elra said teasingly. "The worst that can happen is that we fall off and break into a million little pieces."
Kili closed his eyes. "Maybe we can hold off on the actualy *swallowing* flying part, you know? *voice gets increasingly trembly*. I mean we have a lot of ground to cover still and-"
"DON'T KILL MY NEPHEW UP THERE!"
Kili swallows thickly. "Elra?"
"Yes?"
"We are already flying, aren't we?" He feels a small hand on his shoulder. "I am going to faint."
Elra quickly wraps her arms around him. "Now don't do that to me! If you want to stay alive you shouldn't faint on me!" She wrapped her arms around him a little tighter to make sure he stayed on.
On his part, Kili was feeling a strange mix between butterflies and absolute, horrible terror.
"Open your eyes" she whispered in his ear. The small hairs on his neck raised.
Expecting anything, he dared to half open one of his eyes. Now that he was aware of where he was he could actually feel the cold wind that blew past him. His hair was probably a mess.
The sky, though, was beautiful. The blue of the sky was just blue in a different way than he could spot from the sky. To his surprise he did notice that the clouds were still a few miles away from his reach.
Encouraged by Elra he opened both his eyes fully. Tears start to gather in his eyes now that the cold wind was hitting him full blast. "This is incredible!" he shouted.
Behind him, Elra patted Toothless' side to let him know he was doing good. "Now hold your arms like this" she shouted back at Kili. Though he couldn't see her, she stuck out her arms to each side.
"Or not!" Kili shouted. "That is also a great option."
Laughing, Elra reached forwards to grab his hands and stretched out his arms. She felt him leaning back against her. "Just enjoy! We've got you!" she tried to reassure him.
"That is easy for you to say!" he shouted.
Another knock on Toothless' side and he started to descend. Elra could feel Kili relax against her.
"This is another way of looking at the world" Elra spoke. She didn't have to yell now that the wind wasn't blowing against them as hard. "A chance to see things in a different light."
Kili carefully looked around, holding on tight to Toothless. "I think I understand what you mean." Holding on strong with one hand he did feel brave enough to lay his now free hand on top of Elra'.
Elra felt grateful that she was sitting behind him so he couldn't see her blushing. She never did.
"Maybe we can see things in a different light standing on the ground as well?"
Toothless smoothly landed back on the ground in front of a very angry looking Thorin and Dwalin. "What do you mean exactly?" Elra asked as she slid down the dragon' back.
Kili accepted the hand she offered him. Once on the ground, he pulled her towards himself. "Well, maybe we can see how beautiful things could be between the two of us if... If you gave me a chance, that is." He looked down at his feet.
His chin was lifted and soft, wet lips touched his. He leaned in and kissed her back. Neither of them minded the two older dwarves who looked on in disgust.
She still had to win them over.
