Imagine flirting with the Elven guards
Imagine from imaginexhobbit: Imagine flirting with the Elven guards, particularly Tauriel, to convince them to let you and the Company out of the Mirkwood dungeons.
Some of the dwarves tried to swear at the elves so that they would let them out.
Other would try glaring at them. Maybe they would get so frightened that they saw no other choice then to let the angry creatures out of their cells so that they could be an actual threat.
You? You tried something else.
"Your father is a thief" you said to one guard who passed you by one more morning.
He turned around to look at you with surprise.
You pointed at the ceiling. "Because he took all the stars from the sky," you brought your hands down so you were now pointing at him, "and put them in your eyes." You were smiling at him.
It didn't work. The elf raised an eyebrow. And then he continued on his way.
Your head fell against the bars. Why did none of them give into your charms? None of the dwarves back home managed to walk away after you had flirted with them. Elves must be made of stone, you thought.
One hour later, another elven guard passed you by.
He stopped in front of your cell. The elf had a bowl filled with food with him.
Thankful that you were given something to eat, you bowed your head. The elf turned around to leave but you grabbed his polse. He looked down at it, then at you. "What are you doing?"
You answered him with a smile. "I simply wanted to ask you if you are willing to stay here while I eat?" you asked innocently.
The elf turned around so he was facing you. "Why would I do that?"
You shrugged. "Because my soup will go cold after a while but you will stay hot forever."
The guard didn't answer you. He was staring at you with a strange look in his eyes.
"So you will stay with me. Then I have something pretty to look at while I eat" you said.
At that, the elf turned around and left you alone.
You sat down with a deep sigh. Why did elves think dwarves were made of stone? It was clearly them who were made out of solid rock. How could they turn your advances down?
You finished your soup in silence. Another elf would pass by quick enough. They were, after all, supposed to watch you.
Tauriel was the next guard to check on you. She had heard some of the complaints from the guards who had been to your cell. So she prepared herself before she went down to the cells. Her back was straight and her eyes determined when she reached your cell.
"How are you doing?" she asked. Wrong question.
"Great now that I see you" you said, leaning against your bars.
Tauriel didn't show you any emotion. Just like the other elves.
"How many mirrors did you break today?" you asked.
Now she had no other choice but to ask what you meant.
You grinned. "Because they were ashamed they weren't as beautiful as you."
"Are all dwarves like you?" she asked with a mocking tone. These creatures were weird. And disrespectful. She didn't need to listen to this. But she wouldn't give in to your mockery.
You shrugged. "You mean as handsome, lovely and pleasing as I?" You looked her straight in the eyes. "Do you like pop music?"
"What is that?" Tauriel asked confused.
"Or do you like rock? It has more beat to it" you said, ignoring her question.
Tauriel came a little closer. "I like music with a beat" she said. She forgot about not talking to the dwarves if it wasn't absolutely necessary.
"Good. Then you will let me rock you all night long?" You wiggled your eyebrows.
Tauriel closed her eyes in disgust. For how long was she supposed to put up with this? "You can pop yourself tonight" she hissed.
Your mouth fell open.
Tauriel smiled and left you behind.
Maybe the next elf would fall for you.
