Leonora was looking at you funny. And so were some of the other elves in the library. You didn't notice though. Your eyes were glued to your touch screen that showed the most adorable, handsome man you had ever seen in all your years on earth.

Another sigh flew from your lips. The heartache was just too much.
The two elves who sat at the other side of the table from you, leaned over to each other. "Perhaps our guest is ill?"

The other nodded. "Maybe it is best if we ask if she needs anything." They looked over at you. "Though I must admit that she does not look weak or ill."

They observed you for a few minutes, trying to decide whether to act on their suspicions or leave you alone. Then, a single tear rolled down your cheek. It was time to act. Leonora got up from her seat. "I am sorry for disturbing you, (y/n), but are you feeling well?"

You met her eyes. More tears stung your eyes. "He is going to be a painter" you spoke softly.

Leonora frowned. "I'm sorry, who is?"

You sighed heavily. "The most perfect man I have ever seen. And people are not that supportive." More tears made their way down over your apple cheeks. "Only three people have responsed so far. And he is so perfect." You brought your smartphone up so that Leonora could see.

The strange little device had a painting of a man on it. A man who looked like he was about to go to war. "When was this painting created?" she asked.

The smartphone was yanked back without any warning. You huffen in annoyance. "This isn't a painting, don't talk about painting or painters to me. It simply hurts too much." You leaned back in your chair, throwing your arm dramatically over your head. "Why can no one see his brilliance? A poetic man that nobody seems to understand."

Leonora looked back at her friend, he just shrugged. She pointed at you, telling him to come and help her. Finally he got up.

"Why are you so upset that nobody understands him? Is he a friend of yours?" the male elf asked.

"Unfortunately not. He doesn't even know that I exist" you said, your voice almost breaking.

The elves looked at each other for help. What was this human talking about?
"I'm sorry?" Leonora asked.

You held up the smartphone again. "Look, this user, rozesinblue asked if he is going to be doing any projects soon. Because they want to see him on screen again." Your laugh carried a sarcastic undertone. "Like he has to cater to our every need."

You pushed yourself off the chair so that you were now standing. "Of course I want to see him on screen again too. But, I mean, let the man be!" You were getting emotional.

The elves took a step back.

"He has his own life you know?" You were pointing furiously at the door. "And if you don't like it, then leave!" you finished, shouting.

The male elf dared to open his mouth. "So... he is no friend of yours... but it seems that you are getting emotional about his future. You care about him?"
In one emotional sweep you brought the smartphone to your heart and allowed yourself to fall back in the chair. "I love the man" you said, a happy smile spreading on your lips. "You know, he played a vampire a couple of times. He can suck my blood whenever he wishes to."

Leonora and the male elf were lost for words. "H-he can - what did you say?" she stammered.

"Suck my blood" you answered, keeping your eyes closed. Their horror was lost on you.

"And why would he do that exactly? Sucking your... blood... I mean... really?" The male elf looked at you with new eyes. Offering you a roof over your head was one thing. Now that he knew what sort of thing you were into... Wow.

"A few days ago he spoke the most true words I have ever heard... read" you corrected yourself. You clicked on something on your smartphone, a new window popped up. You cleared your throat before you read one of his tweets out loud; "Striking the balance of unhinged virtuosity can take a lifetime of endeavor. And then you strike gold and write the book on it. It's a great read. I highly recommend."

You looked at the elves expectingly. The male elf wasn't completely sure what he was supposed to say in this particular instance. "That sounds like he read a good book" he offered.

Your eyes narrowed.

Leonora quickly jumped in. "Did he also say what book it was that he recommended?"

For a few seconds you stare at each other. Then, you turn your attention back to your smartphone to look for the answer. After a while you give up. "Does it really matter? He is just perfect in every way." You lay back down with a happy sigh.
"Is she doing it again?"

The elves turn around. Behind them stands your best friend, shaking her head. "She does this all the time, you know, fangirling."

"What is fangirling?" the male elf asked.

Your friend smiles kindly at them. "I'm sorry, I forgot that you don't know every expression from our world." She sat down at the table. "Fangirling is something a fan of a certain person or group does whenever they hear news about their obsession, or when they see them, or think of them."

She looked at you, rolling her eyes. "This happens regularly. Out of nowhere she can start screaming or sighing. Most of the time it has something to do with Charlie Bewley. Sometimes it can even result in sudden outbursts of anger, joy or overwhelming grief."

Leonora sat down beside her. "Who is Charlie Bewley?"

"Oh, he had a minor role in a couple of films in our world called 'Twilight'-"
"IT WAS NOT A MINOR ROLE LILY!"

Lilly waved your outburst to the side. "He played the role of a vampire. And I believe he has played a part as a vampire in a series too. I am not sure, -"

"HE IS THE BEST VAMPIRE THAT HAS EVER EXISTED! HE WAS GREAT IN THE VAMPIRE DIARIES!"

Lily smiled. "There you go, I was correct, he did play in a vampire TV series. Thank you darling" she said, looking in your direction.

You ignored her. How could she even suggest that he only played a minor role?
All you needed to do was watch some videos of him on YouTube. That would make you feel better.
