Imagine Ori taking advice from his brothers

~ I'm sorry, but this will be a small imagine. And yeah, I was tired when I wrote this... With that being said, this story is based on an imagine from imaginexhobbit: Imagine Ori taking advice from his brothers in order to win your favor. ~

'For how long have you liked her?' Nori says, his eyebrow raised in amusement. Ori's cheeks turn a dark red and he lowers his gaze. Dori glares at Nori before wrapping a comforting arm around his youngest brother. 'Now, you know it's not a secret to us that you have a thing for her. But what we both want to know, what are you going to do about it?' Dori asks. 'Ummm...' Ori starts, not sure if he wants to discuss this with his two nosy brothers.

'Yeah, what are you going to do about it?' Nori interjects. Ori shrugs and get's his notebook from his bag. 'I thought I could just write him a poem to express my feelings for him' he says proudly. His two brothers stare at him for a moment before Nori starts laughing so hard the rest of the Company look up to see what's up. Dori shakes his head and pats his shoulder sympathetically. 'You can't do that!' Nori says, trying to contain his laughter. 'What kind of dwarf are you?' he mocks.

Dori shoots him a disapproving smile but Nori doesn't care. 'You know what you should do? You have to steal her something. And I'm not talking about some random stuff. No, you will need the good stuff' he says. Nori frowns his eyebrows and starts pacing around. Dori sighs and steps in front of Ori, blocking his view completely. 'Don't listen to him. You need to show her your good manners, show her I've raised... our parents have raised a fine dwarf!' he quickly corrects himself.

Ori frowns but doesn't have time to respond. Nori already pushes Dori away and shakes Ori violently. 'I know what you can steal! You and I are going to break in at Rivendell and...' Dori smacks Nori at the back of his head. 'Ouw! What was that for?' he says confused. 'You won't lead our little one to the wrong path!' Dori growls at him. Nori rolls his eyes and crosses his arms. 'What do you suggest he should do then? Telling her how you've taught him to never take changes and trying to 'behave'?' Nori mocks.

Dori huffs and looks his brother up and down. 'My plan is much better then yours! What good would stealing from elves do him?' he says, outraged. Both older brothers are now shouting at each other, not noticing that Ori has seized the change to escape. He sits down besides Bilbo and opens his notebook to start writing his poem. 'So you won't steal anything for her then?' Bilbo jokes. Ori smiles politely at him and shakes his head. 'No master Baggins, I was thinking about giving him this poem'

Ori says and hands his notebook over to Bilbo;

I can't express to you how much I love you

but maybe I can through this poem

'cause the words in my heart are true

When I'm faced with your beauty

I can't help but stutter

Yet making you mine is my only duty

I will be gentle

and I will love you for ever more

My love for you didn't happen accidental

Aüle created you as my One,

I will be yours forever more

Until the last day of the sun

Bilbo sniffles and returns the book to Ori. 'Was it that bad?' he asks disappointed. Bilbo shakes his head. 'That was so honest of you Ori, and so you' Bilbo sniffles. 'Well, thank you, master Baggins. I believe I will give it to him then' Ori says and gets up. 'Wait, what?' Bilbo says confused. Ori spins around and frowns. 'What do you mean with give it to him?' Bilbo asks. Ori blushes and turns his gaze towards the bald headed dwarf a few feet away. Bilbo's mouth forms an 'o' and Ori is off to give his poem to his One.
