Imagine ... has been smitten with you - Kili

~ I promised the versions of Kili, Bard and Aragorn a few days ago, but here they are! We'll start with Kili and tonight the other two will be up as well! Based on this imagine from imaginexhobbit: Imagine finding out the person you have feelings for has been smitten with you since the start.

Thank you all for commenting and voting on this book, as well as my other books! I'm currently working on two Thorin fanfictions, 'Lost in time' and 'World's apart'. The first chapter for Lost in Time will probably be up this tuesday, and there are already a few chapters in the other one. Here's the link if you want to check them out; http://www.wattpad.com/story/27994074-world%27s-apart-thorin-oakenshield-fanfic ~

You and Kili always played together when you were younger. You had met when you were pushed in the mud by some human boys who thought it was funny to push dwarflings in the mud, because dwarfs were less then them. Unfortunately for them there was a brown haired dwarven prince who had seen the whole thing and wasn't very pleased. Right when you got up your feet and raised your fist to give the boy a taste of his own medicine, Kili's hand landed on your fist, stopping you from hurting the boy. 'A lass shouldn't have to take the risk of getting her hand bruised over low lives like these' he said as he looked at the boys who had pushed you.

The boys laughed but soon their smiles had disappeared when Kili had shown them how good he was with a sword. They ran off and didn't dare to look back. You looked at the dwarf who was now standing in front of you, his sword still in his hands, and you suddenly realized who he was. Kili turned around to see if you were alright. You quickly bowed your head and didn't look at him directly. 'Thank you for your protection, prince Kili. I'm sorry I've been so much trouble' you apologized. Kili raised an eyebrow placed a gentle hand on your shoulder. 'Enough with the bowing and calling me a prince, what's your name?'

You tried to hide the blush on your cheeks as you lowered your head once more. 'My name is (y/n) pr... Kili' you corrected yourself. Kili chuckled and lifted your chin. 'And are you by any chance a good hunter (y/n)?' he asked playfully. 'Aye, I have helped my father many times with hunting on wild boars.' Kili nodded and replaced his sword for a bow and arrow. 'Are you willing to come and hunt with me then?' he asked, his brown eyes sparkling with amusement. Your cheeks heated up again and this time you couldn't hide it. 'Right now?' you asked confused. 'Aye, right now, before you will actually burn your cheeks.'

When Fili and Kili asked you to come on their uncle's quest, there was no way you could have declined. Not only had you become fast friends with Kili, his brother and his uncle had warmed up to you as well. Thorin was hesitant about taking you on his quest but after some convincing from Kili he finally agreed. The months on the road had been rough but you were happy to be so close to Kili. He would keep you safe whenever you were in trouble, even if he had caused the trouble himself. But he couldn't protect you from the stone giants.

Thorin had wanted to leave Rivendell as quickly as he could. According to him the elves wouldn't let them continue on their quest, and somehow you knew he had to be right. You could never trust an elf! So you had gone on your way early in the morning. Traveling over mountain tops and green fields. You would sleep in between Fili and Kili whenever you got the chance, one brother in particular wouldn't let you of his sight. And every time you were able to clean yourself, you would make sure to stand close to Kili for protection. And he never seemed to mind it.

You were passing another mountain when it started to rain. Thunder and lightning were quick to join in and you had to hold on for dear life to not get thrown down the mountain. Kili hold on close to you, making sure that he nor you would fall down. And that's when you noticed the pieces of rock which seemed to be thrown in one way or another. 'What's that?!' you yelled when a part of the rocks seemed to move again. A loud, low, rumbling cry was heard when the rock moved again. 'The legends are true! Those are stone giants!' Bofur yelled. Another rock was thrown and you pressed yourself against the mountain, hoping that the rock wouldn'y hit you.

Kili tried to shield you from the falling pieces with his own body when you felt as if your two legs were spreading . You looked down and noticed a gap in between the two rocks you stood on. Apparently you were standing on a stone giant who had decided to fight as well. Thorin grabbed your hand before you could fall down while Kili tried to do the same. His eyes were wide with fear as he saw you disappear behind the rocks. You had never been so scared in your life. You could do nothing to keep yourself or the rest of the Company from getting harmed. Kili tried to hold on to the rock he was on, carefully watching if you were alright as well.

The stone giant where Kili was on took a huge blow and fell forward. To you it seemed like he got crushed between two layers of rock, and your stopped beating for a few seconds. You didn't hear the other dwarfs yelling nor did you see the danger you were in yourself. You could only think about Kili. Thorin rushed around the corner to see if his nephews were alright and you followed closely behind. Thorin's shoulders relaxed and you did too when you finally noticed Kili beneath some other dwarfs. You helped him up his feet and into the cave for shelter.

You sat down on the ground and sighed heavily. 'Are you alright lass?' he asked worriedly as he knelt down in front of you. 'You're asking if I'm alright? You almost got crushed!' you said jokingly. Kili smiled at you when his face suddenly turned serious. 'I thought I would lose you' he said softly. Slowly he leaned forward and placed his forehead against yours. 'Don't ever make me feel like that again' he said, his eyes locking with yours. In a sudden rush of adrenaline you didn't think and placed your lips on his. His eyes widened before he closed them and kissed you back.

He tasted like you expected him to. Manly with a hint of eagerness to deepen the kiss. But you couldn't do that here, with the rest of the Company nearby. So you pulled back. A disappointed moan escaped Kili's lips. He leaned in, close to your ear, and whispered: 'Next time we kiss I will not only kiss you on your lips my love' he promised you in his deep, husky voice.
