Imagine singing in front of the Hobbit Cast for the first time

You sat in between with Dean on your left and Aidan on your right at the Comicon that the Hobbit Cast had gone to for The Hobbit; An Unexpected Journey Premier in LA, California. You played the role of Alrún, (my OC), Thorin's lover. You and your fellow actors and actresses laughed as Aidan answered a question a fan asked. The fan went and sat down. A young woman now stood up in front of the microphone. She smiled shyly, tucking a lock of curly red hair behind her ear.

"Um, hi, my name is Jessie, and um, this question is for [Y/N]," she said. You smiled kindly at her. "What do you do during your free time when you're not acting?" She asked. You smiled.

"Thank you for the wonderful question, Jessie, and in answer to it, I actually love to sing to myself in my trailer." You said. As soon as those words left your mouth, you regretted it. All eyes turned to you. You shrunk back in your chair.

"You can sing?" Dean asked. You looked at him and timidly nodded.

"And you're just telling us this now?" Aidan asked. You looked at him and nodded again. Richard, who was sitting beside Aidan, looked at you.
"Why don't you sing for us now." He suggested. You looked at the man and pointed your finger at him, shaking your head.

"No! No, no, no. I don't sing in front of people." You said. Aidan looked at you.

"Oh come on, just one song!" He said. You shook your head again. Before you knew it, your friends and the audience were chanting, "Sing [Y/N] sing! Sing [Y/N] sing!" You sighed.

"Alright, fine!" You shouted, smiling. One of the crew members handed you a microphone. You nodded in thanks. You walked over to the front of the stage, your blue dress moving and shifting as you did.

You turned and looked at your friends behind you.

"This song describes a dream I had as a child spanning to my teenage years," you turned to the audience. "A dream that one day I would be able to act in a movie," you turned back to your co-workers once again and smiled. "To work with such amazing and wonderful actors and actresses." You nodded to the crew, who started the music that you would be singing to. You took a deep breath, closing your eyes. "'Under the glow of the very bright lights'," you began. The whole place fell silent, listening to your voice. It sounded like that of angels. "'I turn my face towards the warm night skies, and I am not afraid of a thousand eyes, And they're above five hundred smiles.'" You opened your eyes, smiling at the audience. "'Oh I used to think, what wouldn't I give, for a moment like this. This moment, this gift!'" You gestured with your free hand out to the audience and to your co-workers behind you. "'Now look at me and this opportunity, It's standing right in front of me,'" you closed your eyes, putting both hands on the microphone. "'But one thing I know
It's only part luck and so I'm putting on my best show!'" Opening your eyes, you smiled up at the lights that shown down upon you. "'Under the spotlight, I'm starting my life, big dreams becoming real tonight. So look at me and this opportunity, you're witnessing my moment, you see?'" You smiled down at the audience. "'My big opportunity,'" you gestured down to the stage. "'And now I'm right here and it time. Because this is real, this is real and it's all mine,'" You lifted your free hand. "'I'm not afraid, afraid to fly,'" you moved your free hand as a wing, imagining that it had taken you above and beyond, to where you were now. "'When it's above five hundred smiles. Oh I used to think, what I wouldn't give, for a moment like this? This moment is gift!'" You closed your eyes, lifting your head to the ceiling and raising your free arm. "'And, now look at me and this opportunity is standing right in front of me. But one thing I know it's only part luck and so, I'm putting on my best show! Under the spotlight, I'm starting my life! Big dreams becoming real tonight. So, look at me and this opportunity.  You're witnessing my moment, you see? My big opportunity. I won't waste it,'"you opened your eyes and looked at the audience. "I guarantee." You spoke the last line. Silence followed. You lowered the microphone, slightly worried that you had gone too far. Then, the entire auditorium was filled with clapping and cheering. The audience stood, some wiped away tears that had built up listening to the song. You handed the microphone to the crew and turned back to the audience. You smiled and bowed. You saw Aidan come running up to you. He surprised you by pulling you into a hug, spinning you around.

He set you down and gently cupped your face, smiling.

"[Y/N], that was amazin'!" The Irish actor shouted. You smiled, laughing. Aidan pulled away and you were swept up in a hug from behind. You squealed as Dean set you down and laughed. He kissed your head.

"How come you kept that talent from us that whole time?" Dean asked. By now, the auditorium had fallen silent again, wanting to know the same answer.

"Well, I did sing in The Misty Mountains," Dean and Aidan stared at you, dumbfounded. "I was the voice that sounded a bit higher than all you baritone voiced men." You said. The auditorium erupted into laugher. The two men pulled you into a hug. You loved this group of people. They were your family. One big happy family.

//This was one of my older ones, which I'm not very proud of, but oh well. I hope you all like it.//
