Reader's POV
The clouds were going under the stars, while the moon was shining through the clouds, making the woods brighter. It looked beautiful, but I felt stressed and weary from the long day I had. Although, the bright side of this is that the scenery is wonderful!

     That's when I felt like someone was watching me: my boyfriend Legolas.

     I am a human and came from Laketown when my parents died at a very young age and, surprisingly, Thranduil let me stay. I am actually part of the Dúnedain, and I am 75 years old. I met Legolas when I was 57, and we were best friends. We fell in love about a year later and here we are.

     "Love, are you alright?" He asked with a worried expression.

     "Yes. I'm just a little stressed. I didn't really get enough sleep last night." I answered. "But I'm fine. I just need to think positive."

     "Well, lets go have a day together." He said. "I will tell my father to cover our posts."

     I was shocked. Even though he was basically your boss, Legolas would never let anyone go just like that. He must really cared about you. I blushed and said, "Are you sure?! I mean, you never do this."

     "Y/N, you are my girlfriend, and I love you! You deserve a day off." He said and kissed my cheek.

     He went to go tell King Thranduil to cover the posts and he came back. "You might want to bring something to swim with," he started to say, "Because we are going to the lake."

     I nodded and hurried to get something for he lake. I never really swam because I were trained for combat, not swimming or anything else like it. But I knew the basics.

     I went to go meet him outside of your home, and we ran hand in hand to the lake. I started to change into your outfit, when out of the corner of your eye, I saw him. He was so handsome and muscular. I was hypnotized by his looks. I blushed and kept on going. I had mostly everything beneath my clothes, with the exception of my shirt, gear, etc. I turned around to talk to Legolas, when I didn't see him. I started to panic a little, when suddenly I felt a pair of hands grab your waist. I felt my body get carried bridal style to the lake. Then I was thrown in!
    
     "LEGOLAS I SWEAR TO GANDAL'S BEARD!" I said. I took my chance when Legolas was laughing and grabbed his feet and dragged him in.

     Legolas POV
     I was dragged into the lake by Y/N! In all honesty I didn't think she could do that. I guess I underestimated her. Once I got up, I swear I saw an angel in front of me. The way the light of the stars reflected of her exposed skin of her arms, part of her chest, and her face was magical. I blushed and she noticed somehow.

     "No way! You are blushing! I've never seen you blush... So that's one thin guy off my bucket list!" She said before she started to laugh hard. I started to laugh at her laugh. We birthed laughed on until our sides hurt and I took my chance to get back at her and I picked her up. I slowly with one arm spread a blanket that I brought on the ground, while the other arm gently sets Y/N down on the blanket. I got on top of her and I kissed her slowly. I laid down next to her and she cuddled against my side.

     "I love you Legolas." She said, kissing my chest.

     I blushed, while she did, and said, "I love you Y/N, no matter what. I will never stop loving you. If you die, then I would have to too, because (Get ready for this) I would rather spend one lifetime with you, than face all the ages of the world alone." She started to cry and I kissed the tears from her face. We then cuddled throughout the night, in each other's arms, not worrying about jobs, loving each other, and looking up at the stars.
