The present- bilbos POV
"A tad excessive don't you think?"
"Excessive?! He eats it by the block!"
Bilbo let out a groan, and tried to think rationally. Ok, calm. His house was filled with dwarves. Alright, he could deal with that. They were eating all his food, (not ideal)wrecking his house, (admitadly, slightly irritating) and it was all that wizard, gandalfs fault. Now, the question was, what could he do about it?
"Excuse me, that is a doily, not a dishcloth!"

Just then, the doorbell rang again, and with that, all of bilbos self control deserted him on the spot. "IF THIS IS ANOTHER DWARF COME TO EAT ALL OF MY FOOD, AND RUIN MY MOTHERS DOILIES THEN I..." He slammed open the door, and stopped short. Who stood on the doorstep was definitely not a dwarf. It was a woman, she was of average height, with long black hair ran through with braids, grey eyes, and slightly pointed ears. "Uhm.." Bilbo cleverly said.
"Lily, at your service." Bilbo pulled himself together. "Yes. Bilbo baggins, at yours."
"A pleasure to meet you mister baggins." The sound of the dwarves shouting and laughing came from the dining room, and Bilbo winced. Lily laughed softly. "They make themselves at home, did they? I apologise in advance for loss of your food, and wreckage of your house. They're up this way, I presume?" Bilbo nodded, and followed her down the hallway.

She stopped at the dining room door, staring at the scene of chaos that met her eyes with an amused smile on her face. Gandalf was the first to notice her, and smiled. "Ah, Lily. You came!!" "Of course I did." She murmured. "LILY!!!!" À Young dwarf with brown hair, (Bilbo recalled his name was kili), jumped up and gave her a hug, followed closely by his brother, fili. Lily ginned and hugged them, and then looked over her shoulders at gandalf. "Is he here yet?" "No, not yet. He was delayed a while." Lily paused, and nodded. She started to say something else, but
before Bilbo could hear any more, the other dwarves started banging the cutlery together. Bilbo sighed. "Excuse me, can you not do that please, you'll blunt them!!"

Thorins POV

Thorin was getting veeeery close to losing his temper. He looked up at the signpost, back down at his map, and groaned in exhasperation. " you can't miss it, he said. Anyone could find it, he said." Thorin sighed, and folded the map away. He refused to admit he was lost.
He had arrived in hobbiton just before sunset, and it had now been dark for several hours. He had spent this time diligently following maps, and reading road signs, but he was nowhere nearer to finding this blasted hobbit hole than he had been three hours ago .in the end, he decided to just wander around randomly, andTen minutes later, he was knocking on the round green door with gandalfs mark on it. Typical.

The door opens to reveal, a small hobbit, dwarves and gandalf. "Gandalf. You said this place would be easy to find. I lost my way. Twice." Thorin looked around the room at who was here. Bofur, dwalin nori, Lily, fili, wait, what? He looked back, and his eyes widened in shock. Lily . She gave a small wave. I opened my mouth, but gandalf interrupted me. "Allow me to introduce the leader of our company, Thorin oakenshield."

Master baggins had retired to his room. Thorin doubted he'd see him again. He stepped outside the hobbit hole, and sat on a little bench at the front, puffing on his pipe. He started to think. So. Lily was here. Thorin thought back to the last time he'd seen her, at the blue mountains. She had come to visit from ...well, wherever she'd gone after the dragon. Thorin had been having dinner in the dining hall with fili, kili ,dis and a few others. Suddenly, the door opened and the guard had announced Lily. She stayed in the blue mountains for around two weeks, helping out , and spending time with thorin, but she had to get back to.... Duncarraig , that was the name of it. That had been two or three years ago. And now, here she was. It was probably the wizard, of course. The door to the hobbit hole opened, and somebody stepped outside. Thorin looked around . It was Lily.
