Gyn suspected Margarita of trouble and when she found the crumpled telegram she went straight to 3Gun. They discussed the best way to handle it and Gyn would just keep an eye on Margarita. Meanwhile, 3gun would send Billy to Tent City and see what he could learn from Lou.

Of course the trip by Lorne and Darkly to rescue Will turned into a bit of a lover's vacation that pretty much sealed their futures. Luckily they got to the county seat in time to save Will's.

Back in BG, Billy found 3Gun in the saloon and reluctantly showed him the warrant Loopy Lou had dug up after speaking to CG's cousin. It was drawn up on the word of her cousin that she had killed her uncle. 3Gun wasn't having any of it and went to find CG to get her side of the story. His problem was that the warrant was official and he was bound by his office to serve it.

CG, unaware of the warrant, made her own decision in the meantime and was determined to take back the paper and start setting things straight in the news. She would get her little flock together and roll up her sleeves.

Billy was feeling bad about telling 3Gun and then to make matters worse, Margarita came looking for him in the saloon. She had brought his food, which he forgot about and when she refused to join him eating a muffin, he started to become suspicious and before he could act, Loren came down from the stage and grabbed one.

He had to decide right away whether to save Loren, who had collapsed after eating a muffin, or arrest Margarita. She threatened him with Loren's life if he didn't hurry to the doctor's and then she ran. Billy grabbed Loren, finished his drink, and carried her quickly to the doc's.

Gyn came from the bakery as Margarita ran down the street. She stood out in the road blocking her way but Margarita pulled a knife and swore to kill her. At that moment, CrookedSmile came up behind her and wrestled the knife away; Margarita gave up. She had failed to get her message to Tex Mex but she had killed the singer, Loren.

3Gun was running all over town trying to find CG. He saw the confrontation with Gyn and Margarita and the rescue by CrookedSmile so he told them to lock her up and he carried on to the hotel on a tip from Little Ron.

AJ saw Billy come back to the jail and when he said things didn't look good because they needed an antidote that Margarita wouldn't give them, he pleaded for a few minutes alone in the cell with her. Billy didn't bat an eye. He opened the cell and locked AJ inside with her.

It only took ten minutes for Margarita to tell where the antidote was. AJ had threatened to chop of her leg with a cleaver he had hidden in his jacket. The screams made it sound like he had chopped it off.

It was hidden under the floor in her hotel room and Billy tore off down the street at a clip.

In the room next door, 3Gun had found CG and was trying to explain what was going to happen. He couldn't get her to admit anything; instead she kept asking if the warrant was real. Finally he insisted he wasn't going to arrest her, she could stay at the hotel where she would be safe.

Her cousin had made a threat that if she wasn't arrested he would do something about it. 3Gun suggested they have dinner. He wasn't sure how that went over.

Darkly had sent a wire that they had Will safe and sound but not without some shooting. Lorne was staying behind to take care of the necessary reports and she was on her way back with Will. 3Gun told CG that when they got back he would be taking her and Margarita back to the county seat.
