Have a good Monday! My next update will be on Wednesday...hopefully.

               “DAWN, DARLING, PLEASE!

“Well, good morning to you Jace,” The blonde put her books in her bag one by one, with her locker wide open.

“Throw me a bone here! One date! That's all I am asking for,” Jace implored from behind her.

“Why does this sound familiar?” She sighed, remembering Jace asking for their first date right before the big game that was three Friday's ago.

“We've been together for three weeks now and we've only had five dates!”

The blonde zipped up her bag. “Well, have you forgotten that we are still in school, Jace? We can't go out all the time,”

“Why not? Are you saying I wait until the end of school? That's millions of years from now! I'll probably die from all the wait!”

“That is if you don't die from all the asking,”

Jace's arms gently wrapped around Dawn's bare waist. She inhaled sharply, freezing in place. His fingers against her skin was spreading warmth and heat all around her body.

“Please, Dawn, my dearest? I just want to spend more time with you,” He nuzzled his hair on her shoulder, closing his eyes.

With a ghost of her smile on her face, she put some distance between her and Jace by pushing him with her index and middle finger. “Now Jace—”

“It's couple's night at the rollerblading derby tonight. Say you'll go with me,”

“Don't we have a Biology test tomorrow?”

Jace pulled a face. He was hoping She had forgotten about that. “Forget Biology! Rollerblading is way more exciting than mitosis and meiosis! Come on, Dawn, say it with me. Rol-ler bla-ding, rol-ler bla-ding—”

The beauteous blonde shushed him by placing her finger on his lips. “How about this instead — we can have a study date together after school?”

Jace's fingers removed Dawn's finger from his lips and intertwined their fingers together. “I'm fine with anything as long as I am spending time with you,”

Dawn could feel her heart warm a little at his comment.

It stopped when she saw a frown cross Jace's face. “But I want a proper date. How about we do that, but this Saturday, we can hit the beach and go for ice cream later on?”

The blonde bit her lip in thought. “Fine, I accept but on one condition,”

“What is it? Anything for you, Dawn,”

                “Bailey has to come along—”

                  “— But—”

“—So it'll have to be a double date,” She finished.

Jace rubbed the back of his neck. “Dawn, I really like you, but setting a double date for your sister isn't as easy as it sounds,”

               “Bailey isn't that bad,”

“She intimidates the whole football team,”

              “Even Parker?”

“Well, no, but you know how Parker is. Fear is afraid of him,”

“Then we have our match,” Dawn dismissed it with a wave of her hand.

“What about Jack? I can't leave him out,”

              “I'm sure Isabella wouldn't mind,”

Jace ran his hand through his hair, rubbing his thumb over Dawn's knuckles with a hopeful look on his face. “So it's a yes to the date on Saturday?”

The beauteous blonde smiled, squeezing his hand. “It's a yes,”

Comfortable silence fell between the two as they gazed into each other's eyes. The space between the two gradually began to decrease. Jace's hand was reaching out to hold Dawn's face just as Dawn's eyes slowly fluttered shut and—

“Hey Dawn!” Another voice bursted their little bubble, bringing them back to reality. Jace and Dawn turned their heads towards the left to see Isabella, the closest person Dawn considered to be a friend. “Oh and Jace! Sorry, I didn't see you there,”

Jace dropped his hand and Dawn reluctantly removed her hand from Jace's to shut the door to her locker.

“Hello Isabella,” Jace smiled courteously, nodding his head.

The bell went off right then, indicating for students to go to their first class.

“We should get going to class. What subject do I have right now?” Jace turned to Dawn.

“You have Chemistry, if I'm not wrong,” Dawn answered.

The quarterback smacked his forehead with the palm of his hand. “Shoot! I forgot to do my homework! Maybe I could copy off someone before Mr Martin gets to class!”

“Well, you better hurry,” The blonde said, chuckling at him.

Saying a quick goodbye to Isabella and winking at Dawn, Jace took off, nearly knocking down other students in the process.

“Wow! Jace really is something, isn't he?” Isabella commented, tucking her raven hair behind her ear. They began to walk to their English Literature class together.

“He is,” The blonde agreed, but she couldn't fight the smile that appeared on her face. “Though, that's what I like about him,”

Dawn remembered her conversation with Jace. “Isabella, before I forget, how would you like to come to the beach with, Jace, a few other people and myself on Saturday?”

“Yeah, sure,” Isabella's lips broke into a smile. “I would like that,”

Dawn watched as a red-head passed her by, before sharing in Isabella's smile. “Great. We'll iron out the details before then,”

They arrived at their class. Dawn stepped in first, with Isabella behind her. Little did the blonde beauty know that behind her, Isabella was already plotting a plan to steal and snag Jace all for herself.
