Hi guys! First of all, I want to thank you all for reading and supporting my one-shot. I really appreciate it, especially for those of you who gave comments/advices/suggestions regarding my writing. And for those who don't know yet, I wrote this one-shot for a writing contest, so please pray for me. Hehe.

So, I got a lot of questions from readers, like who shot Taehyung? Was it Jennie? If it was Jennie, why? Doesn't she love Taehyung? Or is she actually a psycho as the last vibe suggests she might be?

OK, as this writing contest has a word limit, I admit I can't explain the details about many things in the one-shot. So here, I want to explain a bit about the backstory of this fanfiction.

First, Taehyung in the tunnel is not the real Taehyung. He's actually Taesung, Taehyung's twin brother who looks exactly like him. Meanwhile, the victim in Jennie's crime is actually Taehyung, not Taesung as mentioned in the one-shot.

So, the real murderer is Taesung, not Jennie. Two months ago, Jennie noticed that her boyfriend was not Taehyung anymore, but Taesung who was impersonating him. That's why she immediately broke off their relationship (so, the reason for their breakup is not actually about the forbidden love between a detective and a murderer).

You guys got it? It's about revenge. Jennie wants to get revenge on Taesung for killing her boyfriend, Taehyung. That's the main plot of my one-shot actually. So yes, Jennie is the one who shot Taesung in the tunnel.

Maybe after reading this, some readers might wonder if Taesung knew that Jennie had already figured out that he wasn't Taehyung. Nope, he didn't know until the moment he was shot by Jennie ( that's the real meaning behind his faint smile).

And bonus point from backstory is that Taesung loved Jennie MORE than Taehyung did (I choose not to elaborate more on this as I still want to leave a sense of mystery for my readers. hahahha)
