AN again. BlazingClan is their starclan and the leader den(for OrchidClan) is inside a giant tree with branches growing over the camp.

SunDew's POV

I was sunbathing on top of my den when I picked up my head and saw RookStar approach me. "SunDew. I would like to have to have a word with you." She called up at me. I sighed at the thought of leaving my comfortable position to talk with her. I jumped off my den to stand in front of her. "Has BlazingClan sent you any signs? Messages?" She asked urgently.

"About what?" I asked suspiciously even though I already knew the answer. "About Boe. He's done with his apprenticeship but I don't trust him as a warrior." She explained to me. "RookStar, we have been having this same conversation for the last moon. BadgerPaw has passed all of his final assessments and is well over due for his warrior ceremony. And BlazeClan agrees." I said with a little hidden smirk.

"Than they are fools." She snarled. "Or are you the fool, RookStar? BadgerPaw has done nothing but good since he was just a kit! He takes care of the elders and queens. No matter how much they spit at him. He's one of the best hunters we have. And one of our best warriors in general. He has passed every final assessment you have thrown at him and is ready, whether you like it or not." I ranted. "So either make him a warrior, or BlazeClan themselves will." I added before I heard squealing coming from the nursery.

When RookStar and I both looked, we saw BadgerPaw playing with the five new kits. Their mothers, BlueGrass and RedSky, watched with loving and trusting expressions. BadgerPaw and the kits were taking turns being foxes and badgers. I smiled at the happy feeling that grew in me. "Fools." RookStar said under her breath. "You're all fools." Without another word, she stalked back to her den.

-------------------The next day--------------------
"Let all cats old enough to grow fangs join under the curling branch for a clan meeting." RookStar said as she climbed up to the long branch that extended into camp. Whispers of confusion spread across camp as everyone came out of their dens and to the tree.

"Today, a young apprentice shall finally become a warrior as he is well overdue for his ceremony. BadgerPaw, step forward." My eyes widened and I snapped my head to where Badgerpaw was standing by the nursery. He looked just as confused as everyone else as he walked up to the tree cautiously. "You have proven yourself to be a true warrior. Your skills and intelligence have grown as you've grown as a warrior.

BadgerPaw's eyes grew impossibly wider as RookStar spoke. "BreezeHeart, right on time. Step forward please." All eyes turned to BreezeHeart and her patrol coming into the clearing, also very confused. BreezeHeart trotted to BadgerPaw's side and took a quick second to smooth out both of their fur.

"BreezeHeart, in your opinion, is BadgerPaw ready to become a true warrior of OrchidClan?" BreezeHeart stood up straighter and replied. "I believe so, RookStar. BadgerPaw has shown nothing but compassion and loyalty to our clan through his whole apprenticeship if not life." RookStar nodded at her statement. "Then, I call upon our ancestors in BlazeClan to accept my decision. BadgerPaw, do you promise to uphold our code and your loyalty to our clan?" BadgerPaw puffed out his chest and nodded. "I do."

RookStar nodded and looked to the sky. "BlazeClan, I present this cat as a warrior to you. He will serve you until he joins you in the sky. His name is, BadgerSpirit." The clan started chanting his name with BreezeHeart and I chanting loudest.

I dashed forward to nuzzle BadgerSpirit and congratulate him as the clan dissipated. The kits BaderSpirit was hanging out with earlier came forward too. They jumped on him and squeaked in happiness for him while their mothers watched with trust in their eyes.

I turned to look at RookStar as she clumsily dropped off of the branch. I padded towards her as she looked around the camp in a daze.

"RookStar, thank you for this. I'm honestly surprised you finally gave in and made my boy a warrior." I said cheerily as I checked her for any injuries she might've gotten from the fall. "A warrior? What are you talking about? And how did I get out here? Last I remember, I was sleeping in my den. " She said, still dazed. "I mean, you just made BadgerPaw a warrior. His name is BadgerSpirit now. How could you not remember?" I purred a laugh which only made RookStar bristle.

"I would never make him a warrior! This must be a cruel joke by BlazingClan. You will accompany me to the Fallen Sky tonight and we will see what they have to say about this. BadgerPaw, too. I will make them see what he truly is." She hissed and retreated back into her cave with a lash of her tail.

I sighed and turned my gaze back to BadgerSpirit. He looked back at me and waved before going back to playing with the kits. BreezeHeart came up behind me and nudged me. "What did that old mouse-heart want?" She asked and flicked her ear in RookStar's direction. "She wants BadgerSpirit and I to go to the Fallen Sky with her." BreezeHeart nodded in understanding.

"That's going to suck."
