Normal Pov

The Fairy Tail guild members were doing there usual routine.

Natsu and Gray fighting.

Juvia stalking Gray.

Cana drinking booze.

Elfman saying 'THAT'S A MAN"

And the usual stuff.

"Stop, ice head. I need ta talk to Lucy." Natsu put his hand right in front of Gray's face.

"FINE."

Natsu approached Lucy who was busy talking to Levy.

"HEY, LUCE!!"

"Oww!! There's no need to shout. I'm right here, baka!!!" Lucy glared at Natsu.

"Hehe... Sorry, Luce..."

"It's okay. So, what's up?"

"Oh, I was just wondering if you want to go on a job with me and Happy?"

"Today?"

"YEP!!!" Natsu shouted again.

"Natsu!!!....Sure...."

"Ah!! Gomen, Gomen. Uh... can we maybe.... invite Lis?"

"Lisanna?" Lucy asked the dragon slayer, confused.

"Yup. It's okay if you don't want though...."

Natsu looked at Lucy with the puppy dog eyes that anyone can't ever resist. Even Gray.

"Fine. Fine. We'll invite her!" Lucy replied, giggling.

"Cool! See ya outside the guild at noon. I'll pick a random job!"

"Natsu.... He never changes does he..." Lucy mumbled to herself as Natsu walked away to Gray again.

Unfortunately for Lucy, he heard.

'What does she mean?' Natsu thought to himself.

Lucy's opened wide all of a sudden. She thought that she had just read Natsu's mind.

'What was that???'  Lucy wondered.

-At Noon-

Lucy Pov

"Hey Natsu! Hey Lu-chan!!" Lisanna greeted us.

"HIYA!" Natsu greeted back.

Geez... that Natsu.... still doesn't understand what is 'no need to shout'. He seriously is the noisiest member of Fairy Tail....

"Hey!" I said.

"So... what's the job?" Lisanna asked.

"Oh, it's a fun and simple job. We have to go to the Haunted house at the Magnolia Amusement Park to search for a young boy's missing bag. The reaward is enough for the three of us. It is 450,000J. Quite a lot huh? So....yeah... I guess the boy left it somewhere hard to find" I told her.

"W-what.... Haunted house?" Lisanna stuttered.

"Yeah, why?" I asked the troubled mage.

"I... I am scared of the Haunted House...." She whispered to Natsu and me.

"Umm.... Natsu will protect you...? Will you Natsu?" I looked at Natsu who was looking at nothing in particular.

"NATSU!!"

"Uh... oh... yeah sure! Of course I will Lisanna!" He grinned cheerfully at Lisanna.

Lisanna blushed a deep shade of red.

I suddenly felt a throbbing feeling in my chest. W-What is this feeling?....It....hurts.....

"This it guys, the haunted house." Said Natsu.

We stood before a big, creepy, dark building, speechless.

"Before we go in... can I ask?" I faced Natsu.

"Where's Happy?"

"Oh, he's such a scaredy cat. He doesn't want to go."

"Well he iS a kitty."

The three of us laughed as we entered the house. As soon as we did, the door begind us closed.

"Kyaa!!" Lisanna screamed.

"Don't worry Lis! I'm here!"

What's with the nickname??? I ignored the two and walked right ahead in front of them.

"Luce...?"

"It's nothing."

After hours of searching and screaming, we found the bag.

"Damn, this bag is heavy" complained the dragon slayer as we got out of the building.

"Shut up" I said before we all headed to our client's house.

Lisanna and Natsu were holding hands all the time in the house. I was standing behind the two being left out. My heart was hurting again since then. Why? Why do I feel this way again?

"Here's the reward!! Thank you very much!!!" Said the mother of the client.

"No problem" I said and we excused ourselves.

"Here the share for both of you... Natsu, Lisanna..."

"Thanks, Luce!!"

"Thank you!"

I just smiled even though I feel sad inside.

"Luce, wanna go back together???" The salmon-haired boy smiled at me with that usual grin.

"Um... no thanks.."

I just couldn't stay near him anymore. My heart couldn't bear this feeling.

As I was walking out of the guild, he stopped me.

"Natsu...?"

"Luce, what's up? You've been down after the mission all day..."

"Nothing. Nothing at all."

"If you are troubled. Tell me. I'll be right here by your side." He smiled at me kindly. A smile that I had never seen before.

I just wanted to hug him and cry on his chest but

... I just needed to be alone for a while.

"T-Thanks, Natsu. I'll keep that in my mind." I smiled at him.

It started raining all of a sudden. Dang it. I asked all the guild members excluding Natsu to see if they have an umbrella. But I ended up getting ignored.

"Hey, um, Ca-"

"Sorry Lucy, gotta drink."

"Uh, Erza... Do you have an umbrella..?"

"I don't know... Let me just finish this cake for a while....

"Gray, you have a-"

"Shit! My clothes!!!

"Juvia!! You surely have an umbrella with you right???"

"Nope. I don't need it."

*Sigh*

I guess I have to walk home in this rain....

I was drenched in rain water when I reached home. I shivered.

This feeling I had just got worse..... even after Natsu's kind words.... The guild members are ignoring me.

I took off my clothes and went inside the bathroom. I relaxed a bit as soon as my skin touched the warm water.

Natsu has been spending more time with Lisanna. He even asked her to go on a job with us this time... Now, the guild members are ignoring me... What is this...?

Am I...

Am I too weak for a Fairy Tail mage now?
