Rajveer - An Inspiration
♡♡♡
Back in 2006 aired a show "Left Right Left". The main protagonist were Capt. Rajveer Singh Shekhawat and Cadet Naina Singh Ahluwaliya played by Rajeev Khandelwal and Priyanka Bassi respectively.
Though Capt. Rajveer is just a character but a lot can be learnt from him. He is an inspiration for today's world. A selfless person ❤ Come, lets see some of the points which we can learn
Patriotism
He was a dedicated army officer who always kept his country on top of everything. Capt. Rajveer gave up his life in revealing the traitors. Sign of a great patriot. We as a civilian can't do this much but respect for the army can do a lot. But, most importantly not criticizing their work is the greatest support. Remember they are the ones who left their homes for us.
Teaching Skills
He was posted in Kanchenjunga Military Academy as an undercover officer in disguise of a teacher. In a span of few days Rajveer was the most loved and popular teacher. Credits ? His new thinking of teaching in a playful manner. Khel Khel Mei Khushi Khushi Se (Learning while playing)
If we adopt this skill in our education people will learn in a fun manner and won't see study as burden.
Team leading skills
A group of six youngsters had joined the academy for different purposes. None had the aim to become a great soldier or work in team. But, he brought them together despite of many hardships and problems and formed the best army of soldiers. Taking everyone together, teaching them, listening to their suggestions form a good team.
Friendship
Rajveer had his best friend Capt. Naveen Singh Ahluwaliya who was also his batchmate. Naveen was accused of being a traitor. Rajveer spent his life in finding proves for his innocence without caring of anything. A true friend is the one who not only stand with you in your happy times, but the one who stands with you in your most difficult times.
Keeping the promise
Naveen had taken two promises from Rajveer. First to shoot him if he was in a pathetic condition. Rajveer fulfilled his promise ending up Naveen's torturous life but taking up life long immense guilt. Second, to give Naveen's voice recorder to his little sister Naina. Rajveer had no clue where Naveen's family was but, he safely kept that voice recorder with him for years until he found Naina.
When he was court Marshalled then Naina had also taken a promise that he would run away from army custody and won't wait to get justice like her brother. He was a man of principals but for his promise he escaped from the custody. Also, he had promised to always be Naina's mentor and guide her. Despite of Naina's rude behavior and harsh words he never left her side. If you make promises tend to fulfill them by hook or by crook.
Selfless love
Gradually over time Rajveer had developed feelings for Naina. But, he felt it was not correct to love his best friends sister who is also his cadet. Rajveer suppressed his feeling for her. He could never stop loving her but he restricted himself from doing any such thing that would bring disgrace for Naina. He didn't do anything that would make Naina uncomfortable. Until death overpowered him, he never confessed his love. And his last line was "mujhsr waada kro kii gar mai kaamyaab nhi hua to wo jung tum ladogi, jisne mujhse mera sab kuch chheen liya. Mera career, mera dost, mera py-" (and if I fail then promise me you will fight this war. The person who snatched everything from me. My career, my friend, my lo-)he again stopped from confessing his love. More than anything he had "respect for his love".
Now a days we come across incidents where a lover plans to destroys the other person's life just because he/she doesn't respond back to their feelings. Great!! You can't bound them to feel the same as you do. Before loving someone you should learn how to respect him/her.
As you say a person is not perfect! Rajveer too was at fault at two points.
Trusting an enemy in disguise
Abhimanyu Rai Chauhan. Naveen and Rajveer's friend. Abhimanyu was always jealous of Rajveer. He never left any chance to trouble him. Despite of all this he was forgiven by Rajveer. Knowing everything he always treated him as his friend but at the end due to his jealousy Abhimanyu conducted unfair interrogation and revealed Rajveer's secret to the prosecuting lawyer. Resulting in an unfair judgment. Be aware of whom you befriend. Remember "Be mature enough to forgive someone but don't be foolish enough to trust them back"
Believing someone so much
Rajveer's God father was the one to trap both Rajveer and Naveen. Though Rajveer didn't know this fact but he trusted that person way too much. Don't trust someone blindly. If he is helping you, there surely would be some motive behind it.
From these two points we can understand not to TRUST someone too much. Because in jealousy or for their own selfish motive they can use you. They'll pretend to be very generous and well wishers for you but there is an evil face behind it.
I hope you can be inspired and learn from from Capt. Rajveer Singh Shekhawat's character.
Signing off
