" Raj! Where are you?", a lady asked over phone to Raj Malhotra who sighed at her impatient self. " I am on my way. I'll reach Mumbai in about 2 hrs.", he said and the lady got more restless.

" Please come fast Raj.", she said, restlessness audible in her voice and Raj frowned.

" What is it Neyonika? Is everything okay?", he asked with concern and his frown deepened when he heard Neyonika's sobs from the other side.

" I don't know Raj. I...I'm scared. She's not picking up my calls and he isn't home yet. I'm scared. ", she sobbed and Raj rubbed his fingers on his forehead. " Calm down Neyo. I'm coming. Everything'll be fine.", he said and cut the call after assuring Neyonika.

" Bhagwan......sab theek kardo..."

" Navya yaar! Stop pacing around! You know exerting yourself is not good for the baby.", Cabir said irritatedly and made her sit on bed, giving her a glass of water. Its been almost an hour that Navya had been feeling restless. He could see she was tensed about something and he even asked her about it. But Navya isn't ready to utter anything except " I'm not getting any good vibes."

" Now tell me. What happened? Why are you so tensed? And dare you repeat the same words 'I'm not getting good vibes.' ", he asked, mimicking her in the last line making her glare at him.

" Cabir....I...I don't know. I mean....okay listen..Nandini has planned something for Manik.", she said and Cabir looked at her for a minute before bursting into laughter.

" Oh God! You're tensed because Nandini has planned something for Manik? Come on yaar Madhubala....they are alag kisam ke love birds.

If Nandini has planned a date for Manik then be happy and relax. She must have done it to calm his anger down and she'll succeed. I mean...its our Manan yaar!", Cabir said while chuckling but stopped when he noticed the glare on Navya's face. ' Pregnant+Angry = Dangerous for his health'. He gulped seeing her angry.

" Will you shut that idiotic mouth of yours?", Navya yelled and he immediately put his finger on his lips like an obedient kid. Angry Madhubala is like a nightmare and he very well knew that.

" Now listen to me. And dare you open your mouth again! ", she said sternly and he nodded.

" I wouldn't have been tensed if she had planned a simple date for him. She....she has something to tell him. Something very important. She said it will change his life.", she said and he frowned suddenly getting serious.

" Okay....tell me do you really believe that Nandini didn't trust Manik enough to say that he may have killed Soha? Do you think that Nandini....Our Nandini can ever think so low of Manik?", she asked hesitantly and Cabir shook his head in no.

" Navya...I know thats not true. I know Nandini...she'll never think like this about Manik. I know she must have some reason. And I think they'll sort it out themselves.", he said and Navya sighed. A part of her visibly relaxed when Cabir didn't misunderstand Nandini.

" Cabir..I know they'll sort it out.....ummmm....maybe. But still I'm not able to relax. You know, when I asked Nandini about it, she said it is very important for Manik to know. She said its all very dangerous. I just hope they are safe. And seeing Manik's anger.....I hope everything's alright.", she said, her voice laced with concern and worry. Cabir's frown deepened. Dangerous?

He was about to ask when his phone pinged with a message in their emergency group. He opened it to see it was from Mukti.

"EMERGENCY......My place.....Manik in a bad state......come asap. "

He frowned more when he read it. Fear started gripping his senses. Is everything really alright?

Navya saw him tensed and took a look into his mobile. Her eyes widened seeing the message. Her fears are coming true.

" Cabir!", she wishpered and he looked at her. Fear was evident in her eyes and for some reason, he didn't like it. He shook his head gesturing her not to worry.

" Don't worry. Everything'll be alright. Let me go and see what happened okay?", he assured her and got up to leave when Navya also stood up in hurry.

Cabir's pov

" I'll also come with you.", she said and hurriedly grabbed her dupatta. But why does she want to come? I mean she should rest. Already she was having a headache in the evening.

" Navya. You don't need to come. You just rest. Everything'll be alright okay?", I tried to make her understand, but she was adamant.

" No Cabir. I can't sit in patience at home. I mean I'm feeling so restless! Please I don't want to be alone. Please let me also come.", she requested and I sighed nodding at her.

We walked out of the house. Navya was still adjusting her dupatta. I think she's having some problem with it. She walked out towards the stairs and I turned to lock the door.

THUD!

" Ammaaa!!!"

" Shit! Navya!", My phone dropped from my hands as I turned to see her rolling down the stairs. My whole body turned numb.

Navya!

No no no!

This can't happen!

I rushed towards her to see her in a pool of blood.

" Navya! Navya!", I patted her cheeks keeping her head on my lap.

" Ca...bir. Hum....ara Bacha.", she uttered before she fell unconscious.

" Navya! Navya open your eyes! Navya!", I panicked when she didn't respond. I picked her up in my arms and ran down towards my car. Placing her on the back seat, I immediately sat on the driver's place and rushed the car towards the hospital.

"Navya ki Matarani! Please don't let anything happen to her. "

" Mukti! Where's Manik? What happened to him?", Dhruv asked impatiently as soon as he entered Mukti's apartment.

" I don't know guys. He..he just came some time back. His eyes were red and he looked all disheveled. I asked him what happened. But he didn't say anything. He just went inside the guestroom with his guitar and locked himself. I'm trying from so long but he's not opening the door. Some time back he was playing loud music. But now he's all silent and that's scaring me.", Mukti said all worried and Dhruv and Aliya's faces paled. What did happen to him?

Dhruv rushed to door and knocked loudly. " Buddy! Buddy its me. Dhruv. Open the door Yaar. What happened to you? Open the door!", he yelled and banged the door. But there was no response from the other side scaring them more. Even Aliya came forward to call him but in vain.

" Did you call Nandini?", Aliya asked finally and Mukti fumed.

" Its all because of her and you want me to call her?", Mukti growled and DhruLya frowned.

" What are you saying Mukti? How is she at fault?", Dhruv asked and Aliya nodded. They have understood Nandini well after clearing their minds. How can she be at fault here?

" Didn't you hear what she said in the court? She thought Manik killed Soha? How dare she? And you say she's not at fault?", Mukti fumed more and DhruLya looked at each other. They did see that happening. But they can't believe that she would do it intentionally. There must be some reason.

" Mukti..there must be some reason. Haven't you seen how much Nandini has supported Manik in every place? I think we shouldn't judge her before knowing the truth.", Aliya said and Dhruv nodded. Mukti also pondered over her words and somewhere even she thought that she can be right. But her best friend's sufferings blinded her and she refused to believe it.

" Whatever....I don't have her number.", she shrugged and turned the other side in anger.

" I have it. Let me call her.", Dhruv said and fished out his phone from his pocket only to disappointed.

" Shit! Batterry's dead. What now?", he said helplessly and ran his hands through her hair. Even Aliya facepalmed herself in worry. Even Cabir wasn't there. They didn't know how to handle the situation.

CRASHHH!!!

All three of them snapped towards the door in horror as they heard a loud crash. They rushed towards it and banged hard calling Manik's name. Finally finding no other way, Mukti and Dhruv banged the door hard, breaking it.

The sight inside was terrifying. Manik was sitting in the middle of debris as his guitar lay broken into pieces around him. His left hand was bleeding and he sat there without any expression on his face.

Dhruv looked at the girls once before rushing towards him. He kneeled in front of him and cupped his face.

" Manik? Manik what happened? Tell me. Kya hua Buddy?", he asked softly, trying hard to supress his desperation. But Manik was silent.

A silence that would scare anyone.

" Manik please kuch bol. What happened Mere Bhai? Tell me. Won't you tell your buddy?", he asked again and this time Manik hugged him tightly letting his tears slip for his eyes.

" She be...trayed me. I...I left h..her."

And Aliya gasped while the other two looked shocked.

What did he mean?

He left her?

How can this be?

Tears formed at the back of Aliya's eyes. She was so happy today when she got Dhruv back. Why was God so cruel to snatch her other friend's happiness today only?

But why did he leave her?

" She didn't trust me. She thought I killed Soha. She didn't love me at all Buddy. It was all a lie.

So I also left her.", Manik said and narrated everything that happened on the valentines date and Aliya stared at him in shock. How can this guy become so insensible? He didn't even listen to her point of view? Even once?

As soon as Manik finished saying what all happened, he was rewarded with a tight slap on his face, shocking him. He looked at the source to see Aliya fuming at him.

" What do you think of yourself Manik? That you are God? Whatever you think is always right han?

Did you even listen to her once? What if she has a reason? What if she was forced? What if....ughhhhh! Leave it. You won't understand.

You know what? Come out of your own bubble Manik. Everytime what you think can't be right. Learn to give others the chance to speak.", she roared at him. She knew her best friend had made a grave mistake and she needs to put some sense in his brain. She had developed a soft corner for Nandini as she thought that somwhere because of her only, she got Dhruv today...her true love. If it was not for her coming in their life, may be she wouldn't have ever realised that she and Manik were never meant to be and that Dhruv was the one for her. Somewhere deep down her heart, she knew that Nandini wasn't at fault, and that Manik is gonna regret hard.

But Manik stood there with dangerous red eyes. Glaring at nowhere in particular. He was not at all ready to think about Aliya said. He was so blinded by his anger, that he couldn't understand his own mistake.

He was about to retaliate at Aliya when Mukti's phone rang with some unknown number. She cut it immediately in fear of angering Manik more. But it rang again and finally she picked it up. Hearing the other side,  she immediately put it on speaker.

" Mukti....Navya....come to Apollo Hospital. Asap.", came Cabir's broken voice before the line went dead.

They all looked at each other.
