Lights Out!
Blue's POV
I was light on my feet as I walked around the corner, getting closer to the field. I wasn't sure if she could do it, but my gut told me to trust her. Her. I didn't even know her name.
I was crouching next to the football field behind the fence, careful to stay out of the light. All that was left to do was wait. And in waiting, questions and thoughts flooded to my mind. I felt so lost, so confused, but when I pushed those musings out of my head, it was clear as to what I needed to do.
I needed to save these people.
The ones I trapped in the first place.
I needed to right my wrongs.
I needed to redeem myself.
I needed to find out the truth.
And for that I needed HER.
I sat there, just contemplating that. It was sometime later when I was jerked from my trance by a scream. Her scream. How did I know that? I turned around, rushing back to where I saw her last. I turned a corner, not sure what to expect. I saw her hanging from the ledge, her face showing she was in pain. I was about to run under her to catch her if she fell, but as I did so, a strange greenish glow emanated from what seemed to be her very soul. She then managed to pull herself up and use her fire to get through the window.
"She's one tough chick," I thought in admiration.
Hearing footsteps, I skulked back into the shadows, and snuck back around the way to my former position behind the fence. I watched and waited, fully alert. Then the sound of the bleachers caught my attention. I looked over to see my-the men climbing the steps to the control room.
"Please please PLEASE make it," I begged in my mind.
And everything went dark.

Izzy's POV
My eyes had now fully adjusted, and my assailants stumbled through the door quite blind. However, that did not stop them from firing into the room.
"Stupid boys," I thought while diving under a table.
The room was chaos. Staplers, pencils, papers and other loose items flew everywhere. Plastics, metals and glass could be heard shattering, and the familiar "zap!" when an electronic device breaks was clearly audible. Gunshots ran rampid through the room, causing me to cover my ears so I wouldn't go deaf. The gunshots stopped and I heard the shifting metal noise of reloading firearms.
I stood up and flew over the table, not even second guessing what I was doing. Landing on my feet, I held my hands up close together (this was very hard for my left arm to do), focusing all my energy in their direction. Flames seemed to spout from my palms, causing the armed men to jump to the side. Separating my hands and stepping forward, I pointed two separate flames onto each of them when the were in view. They howled in agony, making me stop torturing them.
I grabbed their guns and sucked the hot flames off of them with my powers. They were still hurting, but I stepped past them trying not to feel regret of remorse. Before stepping out the door, I spied some duct tape on the floor. This gave me a smart afterthought.
I grabbed it, turned around and taped my partially charred victims to a desk. They didn't resist because they were in so much pain, in fact, the shock probably made them oblivious to what I was doing. I tried not to let any emotions affect me as their moans of affliction were received by my ears.
"How can people override their morality to purposely hurt other's without feeling anything?" I conjectured.
I walked out onto the bleachers, hearing and seeing what I couldn't before. From my lovely vision I could see everyone was in a frenzy. People were screaming and yelling again, but this time their voices were mostly coated in confusion. The two nervous female gang member girls were eyeing the prisoners nervously. None of the other gangsters were in sight, so I assumed Blue was doing his job. The girls seemed unsure of their surroundings so I knew they were still temporarily blind.
Using this information to my advantage, I walked down the bleachers as quickly and silently as I could. I still made noise (in my defence it's almost impossible not to, bleachers are loud, bro!). The girls focused towards the bleachers, pointing their guns the same way, but rooted on the spot.
"V-Vye, i-is that you?" The girl towards the left asked.
The other girl just stood there, dead scared. Something in her eyes told me she nor her friend ever wanted to be here, like they were forced into all this. I instantly could not help myself: I pitied her. I pitied both of them. And I definitely couldn't hurt them.
"Drop the guns, leave, and you get a ten minute head start. Oh, and get those tattoos removed," I stated affirmatively.
The girls eyes filled with shock, and was it...awe? They looked at eachother, barely visible to one another in the dark. They then set down their guns carefully. They turned to start running away, but they looked back and spoke two words.
"Thank you"
I nodded, not sure they could see me in the dark, then they ran of the field filled with freedom. Something inside me told me I'd done good, but something outside of me told me I wasn't done yet.
