Emma pulled her hair into a bun and slowly got into the water. She sighed as the classical music played in her ears, the smell of vanilla in the air. She smiled and took a deep breath in and out. She got out of the bath and got dressed into the pajamas Adrien left on her bed. She crawled out onto her balcony and took in a deep breath in and out. She looked up at the sky and jumped back upon seeing blue eyes.

"S-Sorry!" LadyBeetle stammered as he fell back against the wooden floor. "I-I didn't mean to scare you."

"Why are you here?" Emma tucked her hair behind her ear as Adrien and Marinette walked into Emmas room, seeing her on her balcony with the hero. They listened in.

"You have a very contagious smile and I need a smile right about now." He held his knees to his chest.

"I've been told other things," Emma sighed and looked at him, his eyes drooping, his lips pulled into what seemed like a permanent frown. She saw his cheek bruised. "Who did you fight?" She pointed at the bruise on his cheek.

He licked his lips. "M-My Father. I tried to stand up to him but," he shakily let out a breath through his teeth. "Didn't go to well."

Emma moved closer to him and looked at his cheek. It was new. "God," she hissed and he blushed as she gently pressed her fingers to his cheek. He winced and she pulled back. "Sorry. Who would hit there child?"

"Him," LadyBeetle scoffed lightly. Emma looked into his eyes. They were so broken. He looked in her eyes and his heart sped up. Sure, Chat was pretty but Emma was stunning. She blushed on seeing how blue his eyes were and how they spread to a beautiful shade of grey. "Y-Y-You seemed down at school." He cleared his throat and she backed away slightly. They both knew this crush would hurt the most but last the longest.

"Oh y-yeah," Emma sighed. "I don't want to talk about it," Emma bit her lip. He nodded. He studied her. Her lips seemed to be content with staying in a frown. Her eyes spoke of nothingness. He counted every freckle on her nose and cheeks, or as much as he could see on her pale skin. She blushed which hid a few freckles, tucking stands of raven hair behind her ear only to have them fall in her emerald eyes again. 'W-W-What?" She met his eyes.

"You have a lot of freckles," she blushed more. "They remind me of stars," she smiled slightly which made him smile. "There's that smile," her hair fell in front of her eyes and she bit her lip as he brushed her hair out of her eyes. He blushed as she looked up at him, his fingers moving her hair out of her eyes. "S-Sorry."

"N-No," Emma cursed at herself for stammering. "It's fine," she smiled and he smiled again. "You should get home soon. Don't we have school tomorrow?" Emma giggled and he smiled more.

"Yeah but I'd rather spend the day with you then at school," he blushed and so did Emma. "I-I-I-I-I-I-I m-m-m-m-mean th-th-that u-u-u-u-uhm-" Emma smiled as he stammered with words. "I-I-I-I-"

"Why don't you go home," Emma giggled as she crawled into her room. She looked at Adrien and Marinette, rolling her eyes as she crawled into bed. "Not a word." She groaned and soon fell asleep in bed. Marinette smiled and kissed the top of her head before leaving her room with Adrien.
