A 10-year-old Ben was leaving his classroom, after class was over. But on his way out, he sees the school bullies, JT and Cash. They were bullying one of Ben's classmates, a boy named Noah.

Ben: {Those two never learn.}

He thinks this because whenever he sees them bullying someone, he beats them up, sometimes they end up in the nurse's office, but even so they continue to act like they own the place. And this time was no different, he beat them up, with both of them running with their tails between their legs.

Noah: I still don't know how you can beat those two up like that.

Ben: I've been practicing martial arts since I was little. They're not just for self-defense, but also for learning discipline. One thing these two clearly don't have.

They then go their separate ways, with Ben having waited for his grandfather to pick him up, as they were going on a cross-country trip during the summer holidays this year. But as soon as he entered his grandfather Max's old trailer, he saw his cousin Gwen. With whom he shares a birthday.

Ben: Hi, Gwen.

Gwen: Hi, Ben.

Grandpa Max: So? Are you excited for this trip?

Ben/Gwen: *In unison* Totally!

They said excitedly, laughing at the coincidence. With the three of them soon leaving. The two cousins ​​didn't always get along when they were younger, because they shared the same birthday, they always argued a lot about who would celebrate. Until they managed to think of a way to solve this dispute. They started doing raffles, and whoever was drawn this year, had to give up the following year. And it has worked for the last three years. With Ben getting the privilege this year, since Gwen was the one drawn the year before.

Time Skip – Hours Later

The trio was now in a camping area a little far from the main area. Which would be an advantage for them, considering what was going to happen that night.

But Ben ended up going to the forest for a walk, and would take the opportunity to get some more firewood for the fire. When he was getting some twigs for the fire, he sees a bright glow in the sky.

Ben: Cool. A shooting star.

But it was then that he remembered something important.

Ben: Wait. It is...

It was then that the "star" changed direction, falling towards the boy. With him dropping the twigs and starting to run to avoid being crushed. He barely managed to avoid being hit.

Ben: *Getting up* Wow. That was close.

He then approached the crater that the "star" created. When he reached the edge, he could see a metal sphere in the center of it.

The boy then descends from the edge of the crater, soon approaching the metal sphere, which soon opens, revealing an object with a green hourglass shining in its center. This glow reaches the boy's face.

Ben soon got a better look at the object inside the sphere. It was a kind of clock.

A large part of the object was black and gray. It had two white pieces, similar to tubes, that went around it. Its ends had a prominent piece, looking like it would cover the entire wrist. Where it should show the time, there was a ring and it had an hourglass symbol, with the middle part being green and the sides gray. At the ends of the ring there were four green buttons, as well as the inner part of the hourglass symbol.

Ben: {This Omnitrix is ​​different from the original. But I won't complain.}

He then brought his left arm closer to the "watch", which immediately jumped and stuck to the boy's wrist. The boy was startled by this. But after calming down, the boy thought:

Ben: {It seems like my life has just changed. And for the better.}

Flashback Off

After that, he had several adventures with the Omnitrix, with it making several friends and enemies along the way, as well as making some "special friendships" with some people. He even fought alongside other heroes at times. But he ended up removing the Omnitrix, as he felt he was becoming too dependent on it. He spent about 5 years without the Omnitrix, focusing on his studies, but on his 16th birthday, Azmuth himself came to him to return the Omnitrix. And to the surprise of both, the Omnitrix underwent a transformation. Becoming more like a conventional wristwatch. This is its current appearance.

With Azmuth theorizing that this happened because the Omnitrix adapted to Ben's new mindset. But after that, he left, wishing Ben luck.

Ben: {A lot has happened since I found the Omnitrix. Mostly I've met a lot of amazing people. But something I didn't expect was this.}

He thinks, soon looking at a holographic screen in front of him. With it having a message.

Ben: {It seems that this is where my journey... really begins.}

He thinks, soon closing the holographic screen, and going to catch the bus. He still had to go to school.
