The Dazzlebooms, ShadowBolts, and Mane-iac were making their lanterns on one table. Flash, Kevin, Gwen, Ben, Rook are in chair making their lanterns and you head to them.

(Y/N): "Hey guys."

Flash: "What's up."

Kevin: "We saved you a seat."

(Y/N): "Sweet."

You then sit in the chair and you felt some liquid on your seat, you stand up and the chair was glued onto your butt. Kevin and Ben laugh at you.

Kevin: "That was payback for this morning dude."

Ben: "Yeah."

(Y/N): "You got me guys, hahahahaha."

You then spot Sci-Twi with the Spikes, all alone. You then transform into Ghostfreak and fly to them, passing through the glue itself. You arrived and revert back to human form an sit next to Sci-Twi.

At the Dazzlebooms' table, Pinkie was putting marshmallows all over her lantern.

Rarity: "Um, Pinkie Pie, what are you doing?"

Pinkie: "Putting marshmallows in my lantern. Then when we light them, mine will be beautiful and delicious!"

Sci-Spike look over at the table and then back at you and Sci-Twi.

Sci-Spike: "Hey, Sci-Twi, why aren't you with everyone else?

Sci-Twi: "Sunset said something at camp is causing the other girls to get new magic. I think it's Midnight Sparkle. She's still part of me. I can feel it. And I think her magic is infecting my friends."

(Y/N): "No, it's not her, there has to be something else at work here."

Your Thoughts: "It's Gloriosa."

Sci-Spike: "What are we gonna do?"

Sci-Twi: "I don't know what I can do."

You pull the bookworm into a hug, she blushes from that, as giggled form how adorable she is.

(Y/N): "You're adorable when you blush."

Sci-Twi smiles and hugs you back, she buried her face in your chest.

(Y/N): "A hero never lets anything happen to anyone, ever."

Sci-Twi look at you with heartfelt eyes as she cries tears of joy and stains your shirt with her tears.

Sci-Twi: "What would I do without you (Y/N)."

You hold her and stroke her ponytail, Sunset saw that and sighs.

Lemon: "Why are so bummed out dude?"

Sunset: "It's Sci-Twi, I'm worried about her."

Indigo: "Look, the magic thing is just too much for Sci-Twi, (Y/N) is helping her cope from what happen at the Friendship Games."

Sugarcoat: "He's a hero, and he found out that Dr. Doom is the pulling the strings during the Friendship Games."

Sour: "He is such a sweet heart when it comes to protecting people, I just wish he would spend more time with rest of us."

Then Gloriosa called out to everyone onto the docks, along with Cadence, Luna, and Celestia.

Gloriosa: "Okay, everyone! It's time to watch your lanterns fly!"

Everyone got up and head to the docks. Sci-Twi was looking down while you press her side against you. Timber walks over to you two with a smile and sees Sci-Twi's lantern.

Timber: "Hey, cool lantern! Mine's my face!"

(Y/N): "And mine is decorated with the Avengers' crest on it."

You and Sci-Twi laugh a bit, her laugh was a bit fake. She sighed as she walked away sadly with her lantern. You quickly catch up to her, along side Timber.

Timber: "Is she okay?"

Sci-Twi: "Mm-hmm."

(Y/N): "Just a little down, but I'll comfort her."

Timber: "Okay dude."

You nod as you three head to the dock. Luna and Celestia light everyone's lanterns. Sci-Twi's lantern was lit, she smiles when she looked into it. You poke your head next hers and smile as you hug her again before breaking it. Gloriosa felt jealousy, but wiped it way with a smile.

Gloriosa: "Ready? And... go!"

Everyone lift their lanterns above their heads and then they float away, with the exception of Pinkie Pie, since hers is overloaded with marshmallows.

Pinkie: "Aw! Oh, well! Now I get to eat it!"

She grabs a handful of marshmallows and eats them with her mouth open. The others slow back away.

Pinkie: "Yep, beautiful and delicious."

(Y/N): "That's Pinkie Pie for ya."

Random Female student: "How can (Y/N) fall for someone like Pinkie Pie?"

(Y/N): "You'd surprised, Pinkie Pie is a cheerful and optimistic, She's a great cook, the list goes on, I have my reasons why I love her and my other girlfriends."

Random Female Student: "Oh."

Later the night, Sunset woke up and Sci-Twi wasn't there.

Sunset: "Sci-Twi?"

She looks out of her tent to her and Sci-Spike running off.

Sunset: "Sci-Twi!"

She put on a change of clothing and run over to your tent and shook you and Mane-iac awake.

Sunset: "(Y/N), wake up!"

You slowly opens your eyes and see Sunset.

(Y/N): "Sunset, it's 3:00 am, what is it?"

Sunset: "Sci-Twi ran off into the woods!"

Your eyes shot open as you get up and change into a change of clothing.

(Y/N): "Let's go!"

Sunset: "What about Mane-iac, are we gonna wake her?"

Mane-iac then wakes up and sees you two.

Mane-iac: "What time is it?"

Sunset: "3:00 am?"

Mane-iac: "Well, I should be making devices that can help talk to the spirit of this forest."

Mane-iac then got up and work on a device to make contact with Gaia Everfree, while you and Sunset ran out and follow Sci-Twi. You then found Sci-Twi.

Sunset and (Y/N): "Sci-Twi?"

She stops and turn around with a nervous look as she rubs her arm.

Sunset: "What are you doing out here?"

Sci-Twi: "We're... we're meeting a cab to take us home."

(Y/N): "In 3:00 am in the morning?"

Sunset looks at Sci-Spike with curiosity.

Sci-Spike: "She thought you'd talk her out of it."

Sunset: "Because I would."

(Y/N): "Me too."

Sunset: "Sci-Twi, you can't leave."

Sunset then puts a hand on Sci-Twi's arm and then her eyes went white and she see her thoughts.

In Sunset's mind.

Pinkie: "You don't think it was the spirit, do you?!"

Sci-Twi: "No, it was me. I think it's Midnight Sparkle. She's still part of me. I can feel it. And I think her magic is infecting my friends."

Sunset's eyes regained their pupils as Sci-Twi pull her arm away from her.

Sunset: "Twilight, there's no Midnight Sparkle. There's only you."

(y/N): "We talked about this."

Sci-Twi: "How did you know what I was thinking?"

Sunset: "When I touched your hand, I could see things. I could understand why you were leaving."

(Y/N): "You must've discovered your power Sunset."

Sunset realized something.

Sunset: "My new magic...! This is my new magic! This is incredible!"

Sci-Twi: "No, it's not! I'm infecting you now!"

Sunset: "Sci-Twi, you have to stop looking at this as a bad thing."

Sci-Twi: "Easy for you to say. Magic turned you into something beautiful. The last time I tried to use it, it turned me into a monster. I'm just so afraid it's gonna happen again."

(Y/N): "You're not the only one who possessed powers like that?"

Sunset: "Yes, last time I turned into something amazing, but I've let magic turn me into a monster, too. So if anyone understands what you're going through, it's me. We can help you, Sci-Twi. And the rest of our friends can be there for you, too. But not if you run away."

Sci-twi sighs.

Sci-Twi: "I'll stay. But I still don't think it's a good idea for me to be near the rest of our friends right now. Not until we know why this is happening."

(Y/N): "Alright."

You then hear some rustling around through the woods. Then a sharp blade of an axe appeared the girls and you scream as you grab them and pull them into a hug. Timber then comes out of the shadows screaming too.

Timber: "Wait, (Y/N)?"

(Y/N): "Timber, by Odin's beard what are you doing here?"

Sunset: "With an axe?"

Timber: "I was chopping down firewood."

Sunset: "In the middle of the night?"

Timber: "We needed more for tomorrow night's campfire. And if I didn't take care of it tonight, it would be one more thing Gloriosa would add to her list. I've got this!"

You giggled.

(Y/N): "Classic Gloriosa."

Timber: "What about you three? Why are you hanging out in the woods in the middle of the night?"

Sunset: "Oh, we were sleepwalking, (Y/N) found us and was bringing us back to camp."

(Y/N): "Yep."

Timber: "Come on. I'll walk you guys back. I'll protect you from Gaia Everfree! Everfree! Everfree!"

Sunset: "Come on. That's obviously just a spooky story you made up to tell around the campfire."

(Y/N): "Aw fiddlesticks, I was going to sing campfire songs by the fire, oh well, theres always tomorrow."

Timber: "Oh, no. It's legit. How else would you explain what happened at the docks? And that weird thing where the earth shook? Come on. I know a shortcut back to the tents."

(Y/N): "I'll lead the way, I know the forest by memory, plus Ultimatrix."

Skurd: "Of course, you should follow him."

You lead the way back to camp with Timber, leaving your two girlfriends and Sci-Spike. Sunset feels unamused as Sci-Twi saw sparkle dust falling out of Timber's pocket.

Sunset: "Legit, huh? I think we just found our "Gaia Everfree"."

Sci-Twi: "But why would he work so hard to make us think she was real?"

Sunset: "You two heard what he said about wishing his sister would sell this camp. If nobody wants to come here because it's home to some angry ancient nature spirit, it sure would help his cause."

Sci-Spike: "We should tell (Y/N)

Sci-Twi: "Let's not jump to conclusions yet."

Sunset: "Yeah, he hasn't seen Timber or Gloriosa in years and it might make it hard for him to believe us us, even with we have the evidence, we have to get all the facts before telling him that his childhood friend is a jerk, who is trying run out of camp."

Sci-Spike: "Uh-huh!"

Back to you and Timber.

Timber: "(Y/N), can I ask you something, are your girlfriends around?"

(Y/N): "Well, we are far enough away from them to hear us Timber, shoot."

Timber: "Okay, so during the past few days, Gloriosa has been using those magic geodes to make this week the best there ever was at camp, but it made problems, I keep telling her to toss them, but she refuses to do so, I need you to talk her out of it."

(Y/N): "Preventing disasters is what hero does, I'm with you."

Timber: "Thanks, glad to have you back."

(Y/N): "Hey, I have something for you."

Timber: "What is it?"

You pull out something out of your pocket and hand it to Timber.

Timber: "What's this?"

(Y/N): "It's a master morpher of my design, Tommy used this to use his ranger powers over the years, I modified it to have all of the ranger powers, it will only activate when you prove that you're worthy."

Timber: "Thanks man, you're the best."

(Y/N): "The world needs more heroes, especially ones who doesn't have an opened pocket of glitter pouring out."

Timber: "WHAT?"

He then looks at his pocket and close it, then turn back to you.

Timber: "Why didn't you say something?"

You shrug.

Timber: "Alright, we'll talk to her in the morning."

(Y/N): "Sounds good to me."

Later.

The Humane 5 are working on the docks and rainbow dash was walking across the planks in a slow and steady pace, she then sigh in relief.

Rainbow: "Phew! Uh, you gonna give us a hand here, Rarity?"

Rarity: "Oh, I'd love to, but I really need to get the stitching on this poncho done before it's going to make it into the camp fashion show. Though at the pace you two are moving, I don't know that the runway will ever be finished."

Applejack: "The dock is our gift to the camp, and it's gonna get finished. That is, if Rainbow Dash would hurry up and bring me more wood."

Rainbow: "Oh, I can't go any faster! I don't want to end up in the woods again."

Applejack: "Don't be silly."

Rainbow: "Really?"

Applejack: "I know I said we should try to forget all about this new magic business, but I can't. What if I hammer the board into splinters?"

Rarity, Fluttershy, and Rainbow nodded in agreement.

Applejack: "Aw, shoot! I'm all out of nails."

Pinkie: "Oh, here you go!"

Pinkie tossed a box of nail at her friends.

Rarity, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash: "Pinkie, no!"

Applejack sighed in relief.

Pinkie: "What? Ohhh, did you think the nails would explode like the sprinkles? Wow! Glad that didn't happen, huh?"

Rarity: "Sorry, girls. I didn't mean to. I don't know how to control this."

Rainbow: "It's okay."

Fluttershy: "Oh, none of us do."

Sunset: "Which is why we shouldn't pretend this isn't happening."

Rainbow: "Do you have them now, too?"

Sunset: "It started last night. When I touch people, it's like I can feel what they're feeling and see their memories."

Pinkie: "Oooh, fancy! Try me, try me!"

She grab Sunset's hand and put it her head which showed the inner machinations of her mind of Pinkie's mind are an enigma.

Sunset's eyes were restored to their normal state and get and indescribable look.

Sunset: "That explains so much."

Pinkie: "Yep."

Sunset: "Girls, we can't just brush these powers aside because it doesn't seem like the ideal time to get them. What if it turns out that they could actually make things better?"

Sunset: "And look what you managed to accomplish!"

Rarity: "Please, please, please can we do a run-through for the fashion show on it right this minute?"

Applejack: "Thought you weren't finished with the stitching on your poncho."

Rarity: "I am now."

Sunset: "Get started without me. I've gotta go find Twilight. Seeing what we've been able to do here might make her embrace the new magic, too! Uh, not that she has any"

Sunset's thoughts: "Now's the good tie to tell (Y/N) about Timber."

Meanwhile, Ben and Flash was walking out of the shed with materials when they over heard conversation between you, Timber, and Gloriosa.

Gloriosa: "I just wish you didn't tell them that ridiculous story!"

Timber: "Ah, this is all too much for you! You have to let it go!"

(Y/N): "All they ever did is cause problems, great power comes with great responsibility."

Flash's and Ben's thoughts: "This doesn't make sense at all."

They're faces got slammed by the door as Gloriosa , Timber, and you storm out of it. They then jump out and bump into Sunset.

Ben, Sunset, and Flash: "Ugh!"

Sunset: "Flash Sentry, Ben Tennyson? What were you doing behind that door?"

Flash: "What? Um, nothing! We um..."

Ben: "Lost one of Maud's rocks, there it is!"

ben bent down and grabbed a random rock and put it his pocket.

Sunset: "Hey listen, I'm glad I ran into you, I really wanted to thank you."

Flash: "For what?"

Sunset: "For the tough love, telling me I should get over how much time (Y/N) is spending with Sci-Twi, I needed to hear that."

Ben and Flash: "Sure, no problem."

Sunset: "Is something wrong?"

Flash: "What no why?"

Sunset: "Come on Flash, we used to date, I know when something's bothering you."

Flash: "Okay, here's the deal, our best friend thinks his childhood fried is a good guy, but I don't think that guy is as good as he thinks, I don't wanna upset my friend by telling him what I think, because I also want to protect him, because what if I think is happening is really happening, then he deserves to know, you know?"

Sunset: "Nnnno. But what I do know is that, wait, are you talking about (Y/N)?"

Ben slow clap.

Ben: "Bingo."

Sunset: "So what happened?"

Flash then notice you head into the woods with you.

Flash: "There they are!"

Sunset: "Where?"

Ben then points to you and Timber. Sunset then chased after you. Timber then stop to check his surroundings.

(Y/N): "Why did you stop?"

Timber: "I'm checking if anybody followed us."

(Y/N): "Seems like nobody followed us, come on, show me the place."

You and Flash take off while Sunset look around the area, she felt an earthquake and peek through some trees and see you both go into a cave

Sunset: "Ah, shoot! He's definitely up to something!"

Sunset then takes out her phone and send a text to Sci-Twi.

Sci-Twi, Twilight, and the Dazzlings are hanging out in a tent, until Sci-Twi's phone went off.

Twilight: "Who is it Sci-Twi?"

Sci-Twi: "It's Sunset. She says to meet her by the rock quarry."

Adagio: "I though we weren't supposed to hike out that far."

Sci-Twi: "She says it's important!"

Aria: "Then let's go!"

Sonata: "If Gaia is here, I want to say hi!"

The five of them run out of the tent and down the hiking trail, until they saw a bright purple light.

Sci-Twi: "What is that?"

Just then, as spider-web cover her face and she screamed, Sunset then put her hands on Sci-Twi's mouth and shush her.

Sunset: "Come on."

They all follow him to the spot they found where they witness you and Timber go in.

Sci-Twi: "What's going on down there?"

Sunset: "I think it's Gaia Everfree. Or rather, someone who wants us to think she's back."

Sonata: "She doesn't glow like that you know."

Aria: "Hey, maybe we can ask her to help out (Y/N) in helping the people and the saving the world."

Twilight: "I read through many books, and Starswirl banished her into another world, it as to be true."

Adagio: "This is the perfect opportunity for her to meet (Y/N), face to face."

Sunset: "Come on."

Sunset then walks into the cave, along with everyone else behind, they walk inside and see a cave full with black walls decorated with rubies and a mountain-like pedestal that was in the spotlight coming from the sun.

Twilight: "This place is beautiful."

Sci-twi: "You said it."

Sunset: "There's Equestrian magic here. I can... I can feel it."

Adagio: "I like this place."

Aria: "I agree."

Sonata: "I hope we didn't barge in unannounced into Gaia's home."

Adagio: "Wait, I thought they were going to let go of the camp."

Sunset: "But Timber and (Y/N) obviously her to let go of something."

Sci-Twi, Twilight, and the Dazzlings: "Timber and (Y/N)? What do they have to do with any of this?"

Gloriosa: "Nothing. It's all me."

Sunset: "Gloriosa? But... Timber. I was sure he was the one trying to make it seem like Gaea Everfree was back. It was you who was trying to scare everyone away?"

Gloriosa: "I would never try to scare anyone away from Camp Everfree."

Sunset then grabbed her arm see everything from what happened: Gloriosa possessing the magic geodes, to giving Derpy and Snadalwood's boat a little push leading the dock's destruction and Trixie and Micro chips were going to fish, but there was no water, so Gloriosa found a pile of rocks and use her magic to move them, then to where you have an argument with her.

(Y/N): "This is not how you use it."

Gloriosa: "You have powers too you know!"

(Y/N): "I only use them for responsibility."

Timber: "He's right. You were using magic all over the place! I had to tell them something to cover for you! What did you want me to do?!"

Gloriosa: "I just wish you didn't tell them that ridiculous story!"

Timber: "Ah, this is all too much for you! You have to let it go!"

(Y/N): "All they ever did is cause problems, great power comes with great responsibility."

Sunset's eyes return to normal and realized what was going on.

Sunset: "They weren't talking about letting go of the camp. He was talking about you letting go of the magical geodes! All those things you were doing to make this week the best week ever. Every time you used magic to do them, you caused another problem somewhere else! They were... covering for you!"

Adagio: "He would never let anything happen to this camp at all."

Gloriosa: "How do you know what I was doing with the geodes? How do you know about the magic?"

Sunset: "I can see things. Feel things. Because I have magic, too. And so does she. And so do our friends."

Sci-Twi: "Gloriosa, Timber wasn't wrong. Maybe you should stop using magic. Too much of it can be dangerous if you can't control it."

Gloriosa: "Oh, I got this. And I'm going to use it to save my camp. I just need more power!"

All: "NO!"

She grabs the remaining geodes with her left hand and capture the girls in vines. Her skin was now dark grey, her eyes are now black with green pupils, and her hair is light blue.

Gloriosa: "Sorry, girls. I know what I need to do. But I feel like we're not on the same page. So..."

All: "Gloriosa."

She flew out of the cave and turn around to use her magic to close the entrance with the boulders.

All: "No!"

She then trails off into the woods.
