(Davidson's POV)

I took a few deep breaths. I feel absolutely drained from that. I don't think I can even make a small flame.

Davidson: We actually managed to pull it off.

I slowly started to stand up. I felt my legs about to give out, but I felt someone helping me stand up. I looked over and saw Solana standing next to me.

Solana: Stand strong. You don't want to look like a weak king, right?

Davidson: Hehe, such your mouth.

Solana: Make me.

I got out of Solana's grasp and started to walk over to everyone else, helping them get up on their feet. I walked up to (Y/N) and helped him on his feet.

(Y/N): Thanks...

I saw (Y/N) start to walk away. He suddenly stopped in place as I noticed drops of water hit the ground near his feet. (Y/N) started to let out tears as he fell down to his knees.

(Y/N): ...M-Mom...

I stood still as I looked up into the sky. I clenched my fists as I managed to hold back my tears.

Davidson: Super...

Everyone stayed silent. The only thing you could hear are (Y/N)'s gasps for air and the wind. I heard someone start to walk. I looked over and saw Kane walking up to (Y/N). He knelled down to (Y/N) and started to rub his back.

Kane: (Y/N)... I know you're sad about your mother... Even I am... But, she gave her life to make sure that you can continue to live yours... Well, not just for you, but for everyone else... I'm glad that her sacrifice wasn't in vain.

(Y/N) looked up at his father as he wiped his tears away. He sniffed as he started to stand up again.

(Y/N): Right... I just wish I had the chance to say goodbye to her...

Top: Just get some rest. You deserve it the most out of everyone here. Everyone else! We will start work on fixing this mess immediately!

Ivy: What? Can't we get a break?

Growth walked up to Ivy and put his hand on her shoulder. A subtle green glow came from her body.

Growth: There. You have your energy restored.

Ivy let out a sigh as she stood up. I walked over to (Y/N) and put my hand on his shoulder, making him look back at me.

Davidson: (Y/N). Are you going to be ok?

(Y/N): Yeah, I'll be fine.

Davidson: Super was an amazing Hero. I'm grateful I had the chance to train under her... I'm glad to see you came out in one piece.

(Y/N): I am honestly amazed that I did come out in one piece too. It was only because so many people were helping to push me to get to this point.

Davidson: ...Well, I will leave you to rest now.

(Y/N): Thanks...

I walked away from (Y/N). I noticed Tyler with a purple aura around him. I looked up in the sky and saw the giant ball of red energy get replaced with an actual star.

Tyler: There. That should avoid any problems. That star is the exact same size as the sun.

His aura disappeared as he took a few deep breaths. Growth walked up to him and restored his energy.

Growth: Come on Tyler. Let's see if we can use your Power to fix the city.

Tyler: Right.

They walked off.

Top: Davidson! Stop standing around! Go around and find people in need!

Davidson: Got it!

I quickly ran through the city ruins, looking inside of buildings. I felt a bunch of strong winds blow past me. I looked over and saw Turbo putting some people down on the ground.

Turbo: Please stay calm. I just got word that the villain that caused this mess was dealt with.

Davidson: Turbo?

Turbo: Hm?

He looked back and saw me standing there.

Turbo: Heya King! That's your Hero name right?

Davidson: Yeah, it is. I just got done dealing with the villain.

Turbo: No way! Man, you kids sure are capable. I'm proud of that. You don't have to worry. I called a bunch of Heroes and they are already searching the ruins for people. They should be done by now actually.

Davidson: That's great to hear. The others are working on a way to fix the city.

Turbo: That sure would be a miracle.

He ran off after saying that.

Solana: King!

I jumped from the sudden shout right behind me. I looked back and saw Solana there.

Davidson: Don't do that!

Solana: I just came to warn ya.

Davidson: Warn me of what?

I felt everything start to shake as a yellow and purple aura surrounded everywhere. I saw as rubble quickly turned into buildings. Everything quickly went back together and the city looks like it was never destroyed.

Davidson: Wow!

Solana: Isabelle and Tyler managed to do it.

Davidson: Phew. I was worried mother was going to make me build each building by hand.

Solana: Don't be silly, I would've made you do it.

Somehow I don't doubt that. Some people walked up to me and asked if everything was really over. I reassured them as I started to walk away. I saw Katie and (Y/N) walking with each other.

Katie: Davidson, did you get confirmation of everyone else's safety?

Davidson: Turbo told me that Heroes were already on the job and that they should be done by now.

(Y/N): That's great to hear.

He said with a low tone in his voice. Katie got a worried look on her face. Before she could ask (Y/N) how he's feeling, we heard sudden screaming. I looked to my right and saw a group of people screaming and pointing at (Y/N).

Man: That's him! He's the one who caused all the destruction!

(Y/N) gasped as his eyes started to widen.

Katie: N-No! I know this will sound crazy, but it wasn't him-

Woman: I remember! He said it himself on the news! He was the one that killed Super!

(Y/N) started to shake and sweat. I can tell he doesn't like the fact he is being accused of all of this. I walked up to the group. I need to calm them down, and I think I know how. I stabbed my trident into the ground, making everyone flinch.

Davidson: Listen up! It wasn't him that caused all of this! He was crucial to stopping Imperium! You really should be thanking him, or else you all would've died!

Man: Y-You really expect us to believe that?! You will not get me to forgive the monster that caused all that mess and killed the Number One Hero!

Black energy started to come out of my body, but I stopped when I heard running footsteps getting further away.

Katie: (Y-Y/N)?! Where are you going?!

I looked back and saw (Y/N) running away. I let out a sigh. The group of people started to shout at me.

Man: You're a Hero, aren't you?! Stop that monster!

Davidson: Such your mouth already! At least show a bit of gratitude that you are still breathing!

Katie started to run after (Y/N). I walked away from the group of shouting people.

Davidson: Just when I thought all our problems were solved.

(A Week Later) (Readers POV)

I am sitting on the couch in my living room, going through channels on the tv. I'm trying to find something to watch. I landed on a news channel.

Reporter: Do to recent interviews with the two Heroes, Top and Chemist, details of the life or death battle against the villain named Imperium have been released worldwide. While the new Hero, also by the name Imperium, has been said that it wasn't him that caused the damage, people still speculate that it is some elaborate cover up.

I wanted to change the channel, but I couldn't bring myself to do so. Constantly being said that I did all that... The scene changed and showed some people.

Woman: I want to believe Top and Chemist. I really do. But I saw the news broadcast that day. It was Imperium bragging about killing Super. And Jester and Martial died to him too.

The scene changed again.

Man: I don't care if the boy was "controlled" as they say! He is clearly a threat to our safety! If the Heroes are defending that monster, then I'm scared of what will happen in the future!

I felt someone grab the remote out of my hand and turned the tv off. I looked over and saw Ivy holding the remote. Isabelle, Katie, Ashley, Grace, and dad are standing behind her.

Ivy: You need to stop watching that stuff.

(Y/N): I know... But...

Kane: You're too young to be dealing with this kind of stress. Just ignore it for now. Agent Smith is trying his hardest to clear your name.

(Y/N): I... I thank him for that...

I put my hands on my head as I looked down at the ground.

(Y/N): Why? Why is everyone getting punished for my mistake?

Grace: What do you mean by that?

(Y/N): All the Heroes are being blamed by defending me... No matter where I go, people scream and call me a monster... Even you all are being called that too...

Ashley: (Y/N). I know it looks bad, but I promise it will get better.

I looked up at everyone.

(Y/N): I'm getting blamed for my mom's death! How can you tell me everything will be ok?!

Ashley's eyes started to water as she rubbed her arm and looked away. I just realized that I shouted at her.

(Y/N): I-I'm sorry... I didn't mean to shout at you... I just can't deal with this. I never wanted any of this.

I started to think about what I could do.

Kane: Son. We all know that you weren't responsible for Super's death.

(Y/N): That's not what everyone else thinks. Mom died for them, and this is how they thank her... It pisses me off...

Katie: (Y/N)... Is this a good time?

(Y/N): ...N-No... I just want to be alone for a bit.

I got up and walked past everyone, heading to my room. I was about to walk into my room, but Isabelle appeared in front of me.

(Y/N): Isabelle. What did I just ask for?

Isabelle: You sound like a broken record. Constantly asking for time alone. Just talk to us.

Grace: Yeah, you can't just keep all those thoughts to yourself.

(Y/N): I just don't know what to do. I want the people to feel safe. That's what a Hero does, but I'm getting in the way of that.

Ivy: (Y/N), you're still a Hero, no matter what people think.

(Y/N): But it's because of me that people think every other Hero isn't one. Right now, I'm the farthest thing of a Hero.

Kane: Do you really think that? Or is that what people are making you think?

I looked down at the ground.

(Y/N): I'm a Hero. That's what I've always wanted to be. I'd do anything to make everyone safe, that's what mom would want. So... I think it would be best if I left completely, at least for now.

Ashley: You're going to leave? Where are you going to go?

(Y/N): I don't know exactly. Just somewhere far away so people don't have to see me.

Katie ran up to me and started to hug me.

Katie: You don't have to do that. I don't want you to be gone.

(Y/N): Katie. I won't be gone forever. I'll come back at some point. Plus, you're strong enough to be without me for awhile.

Grace: How long are you going to be gone for?

(Y/N): A couple months, at least. I think that should be enough time for things to calm down.

The rest of the girls walked up to me and started a group hug. I started to hug them back.

Isabelle: A couple of months. That's all you get. I'll get you as soon as that time is up!

(Y/N): Alright, I got it.

Kane: Son... Just stay safe out there. Ok?

(Y/N): Yeah, I'll make sure to stay safe for you guys.

I broke the group hug. I walked into my room and grabbed a backpack and packed up everything that I would need. I left my room and was about to walk outside of the house, but Ashley stopped me.

Ashley: I'll miss you.

She took off the red scarf around her neck and put it around my neck.

(Y/N): I'll be back, so don't miss me too much.

I walked outside and took a deep breath.

(Y/N): Times 10!

A red aura came from my body as I got ready to leave. I looked back and saw my girlfriends and dad waving at me. I waved at them back as I jumped into the air and started to fly through the sky.

(Y/N): When I return, I'll be a better Hero and I know you all will be too.
