(Readers POV)

It's been about an hour after my fight against Growth. Top took Growth to Agent Smith, who promptly put Growth in the highest security facility possible. Meanwhile me and everyone else was in the same building we were in before we all spilt up to search for Growth. We were all just resting. I even got a pair of replacement clothes.

Tyler: So... What now?

Ivy: I don't want to do anything, unless it involves food.

Kane: Just checked, the internet is going crazy about the blue moon now.

Grace: They better be saying good things about it, I really like it.

Everyone heard someone walk into the room. We all looked over and saw Agent Smith.

Smith: Growth has been completely captured. He won't be escaping, never.

Ashley: Did you hurt him?

Smith: We didn't need to go to such lengths to detain him. He's making a healthy recover, without the use of his Power of course.

Super: That's great to hear.

Smith: However. He has one request. He wants to see Super, Ashley, and (Y/N).

(Y/N); He does?

Smith: Yes. I want you three to come with me. Kane. Make sure no one does anything reckless.

Kane: Great, stuck babysitting.

Me, mom, and Ashley all left the building with Agent Smith. Someone else wearing a suit walked up to the four of us and teleported us all somewhere. I couldn't tell where we were now, but I do know it's a heavily monitored room. I looked over and saw a huge window in one of the walls that revealed a room. Growth is sitting in a chair in the other room, restrained so much that he could only move his neck. I saw Top sitting in a chair that's in front of the window.

Smith: We had to teleport here as we can't let anyone know exactly where we are keeping Growth.

Ashley: This place gives me a weird feeling.

Agent Smith walked up to the window.

Smith: All the people you requested to talk to are here. I do suggest to take this time wisely and if you talk about anything that might raise concern, we won't hesitate to stop the conver early.

Growth: I understand.

Smith: You have an hour at most.

Agent Smith and the other suited man teleported out of the room. Me, mom, and Ashley all sat down in chairs that are in front of the window.

Ashley: Hello father. Are you uncomfortable at all?

Growth: I am fine. I'm as comfortable as I can get here.

Ashley: That's good to hear. So what are those restraints?

Top: You know the collars that were used on Isabelle and Tyler to stop them from using their Powers? The restraints are completely made out of that technology, so he won't be using is Power in the slightest.

Ashley nodded her head atTop's explanation.

Super: Why did you ask to talk to us?

Top: You better make it quick.

Growth: ...I asked you four here so I can say my peace. The words on my mind that I wish to speak to you so that I may get them off my mind. I'm going to be here alone for a long time, so I want my mind as clear as possible for all the new thoughts that will come.

Growth looked over at mom.

Growth: Super. I know we have a bunch of mixed emotions about each other.

Super: Mixed emotions doesn't describe it.

Growth: That is correct. But for the words I said to you on the day that my father passed, I want to say sorry. Those words I said to you were out of frustration and hate that you didn't deserve.

Super: Well... Thank you for the apology.

Growth: I know that the Power you wield now is my father's, but you have truly made it your own. I do wish you continue my father's will of wanting a better world.

Super: I will. It is my life's goal after all. I owe Herculean everything because it was him that I am the Number 1 Hero. He truly was a great man and a great father.

Growth: Yes, he truly was. I do wonder what he would think if he saw me now. His little Number 1 locked up.

Growth chuckled before stopping and looked over at Top.

Growth: Aria. Top. What would you like for me to call you?

Top: I don't care. Just say what you need to say already.

Growth: Alright. I thought if you as my rival. Someone that would also try to surpass me, no matter what happened. It was your determination that kept me going. I must thank you for giving me my resolve as I would not have it now if you weren't there in my early years of life.

Top: ...

Top didn't say anything, just staring at Growth. He looked over at Ashley. I looked over at Ashley too and I can tell that she's holding back her emotions and Growth can tell too.

Growth: Ashley. My lovely daughter. How you have matured. I remember it like it was yesterday that I held you in my arms when you were a baby.

Ashley: Father...

Growth: I know that you are still wondering why I did what I did. To be honest, I won't be able to completely explain that to you. It's hard to put into words.

Ashley: ...I understand.

Growth: Hmm, but I will still attempt. I remember when you were young, kids would bully you over what your Power was. I hated to see any hate being directed towards my little bundle of joy. That is what drove me to make an equal world. Just so you could be treated equally to everyone else. You were my world.

Ashley clenched onto her knees as tears started to come from her eyes. I put my hand on her back and slowly rubbed it up and down, trying to soothe her as much as I could.

Growth: There is no need to cry. How I see it now, you have found the people that I wanted you to have all those years ago. You have (Y/N) and all of his friends to be there with you. Please Ashley, do not take that for granted.

Ashley wiped her tears away and looked at Growth. She nodded her head and smiled at him.

Ashley: Yes father. I'll make sure to do just that. I love you.

Growth: I love you too, my daughter. I do wish I could share with you one last hug.

Ashley: Maybe when you eventually get out of here, we can do just that.

Growth smiled and he laughed a little.

Growth: Yes. I would enjoy that very much. That would make all these up coming years in here worth it.

Growth looked over at me. I was very curious why he wanted to talk to me of all people. I can understand him wanting to talk to Ashley, mom, and Top, but I don't have any personal connection with him.

Growth: The child of the Number 1 Hero. I guess you could say we are cut from the same cloth.

(Y/N): That certainly is one way of putting it.

Growth: Yes, it is. Remember back when you and Davidson stood before me in the forest and I asked you what your goals as a Hero were. You never told me your answer. I'm dying to know what it is.

(Y/N): ...My goal as a Hero?

I started to really think about that. I never got time to think about Growth's question as my mind was just filled with many other thoughts at the time.

Growth: Still in thought, huh? I don't blame you-

(Y/N): Yeah... I do have a goal in mind.

I looked over at Ashley, Top, and mom. I smiled at them before looking back at Growth.

(Y/N): After giving it some thought, I believe I figured out just what I want. My goal as a Hero.

Super: That's amazing to hear sweetie! What is it?

(Y/N): My goal... I'm going to strive for the goal that the world and everyone on it will be equal.

Growth: So similar to mine?

(Y/N): Kinda, but I'm going to do it in my own way. I will make it so that everyone won't be treated wrongly, but I won't use force and take away peoples will to choose. They will have a choice to follow the side of justice or they will fall to my two hands.

Growth: That is what I've wanted to hear from you, your goal. I am glad that I've helped you realize your goal. Thank you for giving me that honor.

(Y/N): You don't deserve all the credit.

Growth: Of course. I'm sure your friends also helped you realize that as well. You are the strongest person I have ever met in my life. You will certainly reach your goal.

Growth smiled at me. After a couple moments, Growth cleared his throat.

Growth: I have now said all the words I wished to say to you four. I do not wish to hold you any longer than I have to.

Everyone stood up from their seats as Agent Smith and the man that has the Power to teleport appeared behind us.

Smith: Alright, we will be leaving now.

Ashley looked over at Growth.

Growth: ...Actually, there is still one more thing I wish to say. Ashley, these words are for you.

Ashley: For me?

Growth: Please don't ever stop going. I know you are a strong girl. Use your Power for whatever you decide to do with your life. It is your time for you to make your life decisions, it is no longer mine to decide. Just so you know, you will always be my daughter and nothing you could do would make me change my thoughts on you. You are my world after all.

Ashley nodded her head.

Ashley: Yes father. I will make sure to keep going down this path of mine. I hope you wish me luck through out the whole journey.

Growth: You don't have to wish for that, for I am already wishing for that. I love you daughter.

Ashley: I love you too father. I always will.

Growth: And (Y/N)... Make sure to acknowledge what you learned today.

I nodded my head. We all teleported away, leaving Growth to wherever he is being held. We all needed up back at the building from before. Top jumped away.

Smith: You all are free to go and enjoy the well deserved rest you all need.

Agent Smith and the man next to him vanished from my sight. I felt someone pull on my shirt sleeve. I looked over and saw Ashley has a hold on it.

Ashley: (Y/N)... Since my father is in captivity, I don't have a place to stay anymore.

Super: Oh, that's fine. You can stay with us for awhile if you want!

Ashley: Would that really be ok with you?

Super: Why not? It would be cruel of me to leave you out on the streets.

Ashley: That is very kind of you. Thank you very much.

Super: No problem. Just doing my job as a Hero.

Mom jumped away. Ashley looked over at me.

Ashley: Hey (Y/N)?

(Y/N): Yeah Ashley?

Ashley: I just remembered that when we confessed our love to each other and kissed, are you cheating on Katie?

(Y/N): Oh right, I haven't explained that yet to you.

Ashley: Explained what?

(Y/N): It's a complicated situation...

(Growth's POV)

I was looking through the window while I was forced to stay seated in the chair I'm in. I smiled to myself and I laughed a bit to myself. I heard an intercom system turn on.

Smith: Growth. Explain to me what is so funny?

Growth: Because I realized where I went wrong in my goal.

Smith: Went wrong?

Growth: Yes. I'm now fully aware why (Y/N) was the victor. It is because he had something that I did not. He had something that I rejected a long time ago. If I still had it, I would've been victorious, but I wouldn't be the person I am today.

Smith: Would you care to elaborate?

Growth: No. If you didn't realize it, then you shouldn't be given the answer. I do hope (Y/N) figures out the lesson fate has taught him, or something bad soon might happen.

Smith: That's enough out of you. I ask you to stay quiet unless you are asked otherwise.

Growth: Of course.

(Readers POV) (Time Skip)

I was now in my house in front of the couch as my mom and dad were sitting on it.

(Y/N): Mom. Dad. I have to tell you two something.

Kane: Really now? What might that be?

(Y/N): Well... I'm in a relationship.

My mom's eyes lit up as soon as I said that.

Super: Aaaaahhhh! I can't believe I'm finally hearing those words from you!

Kane: That's great to hear. Are they with you right now?

(Y/N): Yes. You can come in now!

Mom was bouncing up and down on the couch in excitement.

Super: I get to see who is going to be with my special man!

Katie, Ivy, Grace, Isabelle, and Ashley all walked into the living room and stood next to me.

(Y/N): They are all my girlfriends.

Mom and dad froze in place for a moment. Dad smiled and stood up.

Kane: THAT'S MY BOY!!!

Katie: They are taking this way better than I thought.

Mom was still frozen in her spot. I walked up to her and waved my hand in front of her face, but she didn't react in the slightest.

Ivy: Is Super alright?

Kane: Huh? Oh, she does that sometimes when something she wasn't expecting catches her off guard. She'll wake up in a minute or two.

Grace: Good to hear she's not broken or something.

I was not expecting that to happen to mom. I guess I'll just have to wait until all the information in her head settles.

Kane: So what made you decide to have multiple girlfriends?

(Y/N): Oh, well I do love them all and I couldn't decide on just one and they are fine sharing me so that's what we came to.

Kane: Well good luck with that. Your mother is a handful so I can only imagine what five women could do?

Ivy: Are you saying we are too much to handle?!

Kane: Am I wrong?

Ashley: He does have a point. You are a lot to handle Ivy, even for all of us.

Ivy: Why are you taking his side?!

Super: ...My son is dating multiple people at once?!
