(Aurora's POV)

I immediately dashed forward at Drake. He tried to put his arms up to defend himself, but I just dashed behind him. I punched him in the back, knocking him forward.

Drake: Gah!

I made sure to hold back for that attack, but even so my attacks are strong. Drake started to let out some red flames out of his mouth, slowing himself down. He pointed his head down, making the flames force him up into the air.

Drake: Take this!

He started to spin around while letting out a bunch of flames. Several balls of red fire came raining down at me. I pointed my hand upward and made a barrier of darkness energy, blocking the flames. I made a blade of light with my other hand. I got rid of the darkness barrier, but didn't see Drake in the air anymore.

Aurora: Where did he go?

I looked around and saw that a lot of red flames are burning around the area.

Aurora: If you are using your flames to camouflage yourself, it won't work.

I spun around in place, causing a bunch of winds to blow the flames away. When they were gone, Drake was revealed standing nearby a building.

Drake: Shit, there goes that plan!

He tried to let out some more flames, but I dashed forward and kicked him in the stomach. Drake gasped out as he crashed into a building. Before he could move anywhere, I got in front of him and stabbed my blade into the building wall behind him, right next to his head.

Aurora: I told you. Just go. I don't want this to continue.

Drake started to catch his breath as he looked at me. He moved his arms to grab onto my arm with the blade on it.

Drake: Yeah?... Well I want it to continue... You want me to stop? Then you'll have to kill me for that.

He tried to get my arm to budge, but he didn't have much luck doing so. I got rid of the blade and moved my arm to throw Drake onto the middle of the road. He managed to keep his footing. I dashed in front of him. Drake tried to punch me, but I dodged it and punched him in the face. He spat out some blood as I punched his face again with my other fist.

Drake: Agh!

I punched him in the stomach, making him gasp out. He hunched over and held his stomach. I grunted as I forced myself to uppercut him under his chin, making Drake fly up into the air slightly and falling down onto the road.

Aurora: Please... Don't make me continue to do this. I don't want to lose someone again.

Drake tried to get up, but struggled to even make the attempt.

Drake: No... No! I have to keep going! This is my fight!

Drake looked up at me with red fire in his eyes. He managed to stand up on his own two feet.

Drake: I can't stop! I won't stop! Because I'm fighting for something more than myself! I'm fighting for you! That's why I can't stop!

He got ready to breath out some fire. I got in front of him and put my hand over his mouth, blocking the fire from going anywhere. He grabbed my arm to try to move it, but couldn't.

Aurora: I'm not going to let go. If I can't get you to stop, then you'll stop yourself.

(Drake's POV)

I tried to get Aurora's hand off my mouth, but she's ridiculously strong. Stronger than me. I can't believe how much stronger she's gotten in such a short amount of time. But that just means I have to get stronger! I'm her rival, damn it! I let out a grunt as I managed to shoot out a blast of red fire from my chest, knocking Aurora back.

Aurora: Huh?

I smirked as she let go of my mouth. The red tank top I'm wearing burned off my body, revealing there isn't a hole in my chest.

Aurora: What the?

Drake: Woah. Interesting.

I put out my hand and managed to shoot out a stream of red fire from it. I brought my hand back and grunted, making a burst of red fire come from all over body. Small red flames started to leak out of my body.

Aurora: Your Power Leveled Up.

I smiled as I looked at Aurora as I got ready to fight.

Drake: Seems like we are on equal terms again!

She grunted as she dashed at me. I used my newly Leveled Up Power to shoot flames from the bottom of my feet, sending me up into the air. I went upside down, seeing that Aurora tried to strike me from behind again. I threw my fist forward. Aurora put her arms up to guard. Right before my fist connected, I made a burst of red flames come from my elbow. That burst made my punch gain a lot of speed, breaking Aurora's guard when my punch landed.

Drake: Round 2 time!

I brought my leg back and got ready to kick. A burst of red flames came from the back of leg, making me spin really fast and kicked Aurora, sending her back.

Aurora: This heat... Your flames got hotter.

Drake: Hotter?

I looked down at my hands and let out some flames from them. I looked back at Aurora.

Drake: No. They didn't get any hotter. They just don't lose any heat when they leave my body now.

Aurora dashed forward at me. I tried to punch her, but I saw her vanish when my fist landed.

Drake: Huh?!

I felt a punch in the side of my stomach. I managed to keep my footing and grabbed the arm that punched me.

Drake: Now get a full taste of my fire!

I screamed out as I let out a huge burst of flames from my body, covering the entire street me and Aurora are standing in.

Drake: You enjoying this heat?

I asked to Aurora. She managed to get out of my grasp and jumped up into the air and landed on top of a building. I jumped out of my flames and landed on a building across from Aurora.

Aurora: Are you enjoying this? Putting me through all this? Just let me be strong for you.

Drake: Then let me be the same for you too. If I'm going to be your rival, then I can't let you do this all by yourself.

Me and Aurora jumped at each other and tried to punch each other. I tried to hit her, but she used her speed to disappear from my sight again. I let out some flames from my back, sending me forward and dodging a punch from Aurora who was now behind me. I managed to wrap my legs around her waist and let out a burst of flames from my body, sending us both down to the ground. The impact made a bunch of red fire go in all directions. Me and Aurora are now in a crater. She punched me in the face, making me unwrap my legs from her. She put her hand on the ground and spun around, kicking me in the head.

Aurora: I'm going to end this right now.

I couldn't help but smirk. I threw my fists forward to punch her. I can't believe I'm going to do something similar to her, but I'll pull all the stops to beat my rival.

Drake: Let's see you try!

A bunch of red flames in the shape of red fists came out of my arms and went straight for Aurora. She jumped back, but the flames kept coming for her. Aurora threw her fists forward and made a bunch of hands out of light to grab the fists of flames. I dashed forward at her and grabbed onto her hands. She gripped onto my hands too. I brought my head back and lunged my head forward, head butting Aurora in the face. Her face recoiled as blood came from her nose. She lunged her head forward and head butted me back, making blood come from my nose too. We both lunged our heads forward and head butted each other at the same time. We both started to pant, catching our breath and using each other to support ourselves to keep standing straight.

Drake: Ah... Ah... Ah...

Aurora: Ah... Ah... Ah...

Blood started to drip down onto the ground, but evaporated from the heat of my flames nearby. Me and Aurora looked at each other as we let go of each other and punched each other, making us stumble back. My vision started to blur and I think the same goes for Aurora. I saw Aurora start to change, like she started to look like a different person. She looks like a taller woman with dark energy all over her. Am I seeing things?

Drake: Who are you?

Abolition: ...

She disappeared and Aurora went back to looking like her usual self.

(Aurora's POV)

I tried to keep standing straight as my vision is getting blurry. I looked at Drake and his body seemed to shift and change. He started to look like a man with really long red hair that went down to his knees.

Aurora: Huh?

Imperium: ...

I blinked and Drake looks like how he should. Am I becoming delusional? I don't think I've lost enough blood to be hallucinating. Whatever... I can't be thinking about that right now.

Drake: How about we finish this with a bang?

Aurora: ...Sure.

I brought both of my hands back, a ball of light formed in one hand and a ball of darkness in the other hand. Drake started to scream out as red flames came out of his mouth and body. The flames started to grow and formed into the shape of a dragon. I put both of my hands together, combining the ball of light and darkness into one.

Drake: Now burn in the Draconic Flames!

We both started to scream as we launched our attacks. A large beam of light and dark energy shot out from my hands and Drake threw his hands forward, making the dragon made of red fire launch forward. Our attacks clashed together, causing a giant swirling pillar of energy and fire to shoot up into the sky. Me and Drake stopped our attacks as we caught our breath. Sweat dripped from my face while Drake's sweat evaporated off him.

Aurora: Well... Aren't you going to make a move?

Drake: Heh... After you.

Seems like he's calling out my bluff, but I know he's bluffing too.

Drake: ...Since you don't want to make the first move, maybe now you'll be willing to listen?

Aurora: What is there to listen too? I shouldn't be wasting my time with this. I need to kill Gio.

Drake: And you don't have to burden yourself with that kind of responsibility. This is my fight too. I promise I'm not dying again.

I closed my eyes and moved my head to not face Drake. Tears forced their eyes out of my closed eyelids. I clenched my fists tightly.

Aurora: I don't want to hurt anymore...

Drake: I understand that feeling. But cutting me off isn't going to stop your pain.

Aurora: I just want to be strong... I want to protect the people I love. I don't want to lose anyone anymore.

I fell down to my knees. Drake managed to stumble over to me and got down to his knees too. He grabbed the back of my head and pulled me in, making our foreheads touch.

Drake: You are strong. And even if you don't think so, I know you are. I love ya, so let's do this together.

I took a deep breath and nodded my head. I leaned into Drake and wrapped my arms around him, not wanting to let go. I felt like I was about to pass out, exhausted with my fight with Drake. I can tell he's the same too, about to lose consciousness. Before I lost consciousness, I heard someone walking towards us.

???: Cmon, you kids don't need to be sneaking out.

I felt a hand get placed on my shoulder and my eyes went wide open. My energy got restored. I looked behind me and saw Amethyst there. She put her other hand on Drake's shoulder and restored his energy. He let out a gasp and shot up, quickly standing up.

Amethyst: I'm glad I found you two thanks to that large pillar of energy.

Drake: Amethyst? What are you doing here?

Amethyst: I couldn't help but notice that all of you kids disappeared so suddenly.

Aurora: Where's Rival?

Amethyst: He's taking his 4 hour sleep. Now Drake, you better tell me where the rest of your siblings are! Or I'll make sure you get in a lot of trouble from your mothers!

Drake: Yeah about that... I kinda split off from them to find Aurora.

Amethyst: You what?!

Drake rubbed the back of his head. I stood up and surrounded myself in light and darkness.

Aurora: Then let's find them. They shouldn't be that far, right?

(Mel's POV) (Before Aurora And Drake Fought)

Me, Minerva, Amy, and Horace are running down some streets, looking for where Aurora could be.

Amy: Where could Aurora have gone?

Minerva: Who knows? She could be anywhere in this city.

Horace: If she's still in this city.

I thought about what to do. My thoughts were cut off by the sound of an explosion nearby. Everyone looked over in the direction and saw the boy that Horace and Amy fought in the forest nearby using his Power to destroy some nearby buildings.

Horace: Him again?

Minerva: Looks like we will have to take him down.

Horace, Minerva, and Amy all dashed forward. I quickly used Horace's Power to make them all back towards me. Soon after, I saw that robot girl slash a purple energy sword where they used to be.

Horace: Whoa!

Amy: What the?!

Code: I have found some of the targets.

I glared at her.

Mel: Horace, Minerva, Amy. Get out of here. Deal with the explosive boy.

Code: I will not allow you to-

I looked at her and tried to use Horace's Power to send her to a previous position, but it didn't affect her.

Mel: Huh?

Code: Such tricks won't work on me. You all shall end here.

I looked around and saw the boy still exploding buildings. I made a portal and pushed Horace, Minerva, and Amy through.

Mel: Make sure you three don't get hurt for me. I'll see you soon.

I got rid of the portal. I turned to look at the robot.

Code: So you got them to leave?

Mel: Of course. As their older sister, I can't let them get hurt by someone like you. It's my duty.

She stared at me for a moment before nodding her head.

Code: I understand that feeling. I'll honor your wishes. I won't hunt them down, not until I take you down first.

I got ready to fight the robot girl.

Mel: You understand?

Code: Yes. I consider Ifrit, Elda, Gio, and Jes my siblings. So as their elder sister, I'll make sure they don't get hurt. I'll get revenge for Elda and your blood will be the first to be shed.
