I pushed her bedroom door open and she wandered in, "This was the bedroom you conned out of Tony so you'd help us. It's the same apart from a few of my bits,"

"Why are your bits here?"

"Um, I missed you and I needed to remember how you were before Hydra took you," I said, "I can't take them out if you want,"

"Nah, it's ok," She said.

"Some of your clothes are in there and the shower is through that door. If you need me at all during the night, my room is down the hall. Steve is also on the floor,"

"Ok,"

"I...I'll leave you to it,"

Blue grabbed my hand and awkwardly hugged me. I hugged her back, "Thank you,"

"For what?"

"Trying to help,"

I jerked awake when I heard a scream and I rubbed my eyes, letting out a sigh. It had happened to me a few times since I knew Blue was in the lab.

"Hey, hey," I heard Steve say, "It's ok. I'm not Hydra,"

I leapt out of bed and yanked my door open to see Blue pressed against the wall almost hyperventilating. Her eyes were wide and Steve had his hands up.

"I'm sorry for startling you," Steve said, "I was only trying to help,"

"What happened?" I asked and Blue launched herself into me, holding me tightly, "Steve?"

"I got up to get a drink and saw Blue looking confused. I didn't mean to scare her. Blue, I'm sorry,"

"Don't worry about it, pal," I said.

Steve rubbed the back of his neck and walked back to his room.

"Come on. I'll take you back to your room,"

"No," She mumbled, "I don't want to sleep alone,"

"I can sit with you until-"

"No!" She said, squeezing me, "Please. Can I sleep next to you?"

"Um, yeah," I said, "But you'll have to wear something a bit less revealing,"

Blue stepped back and looked at what she was wearing, "Oh. I'm sorry. I couldn't find anything and I saw this shirt and-"

"You don't need to say sorry," I said, pulling her into the room, "I love that you are wearing my shirt but I don't want you to feel uncomfortable,"

Blue shook her head, "You don't make me feel uncomfortable. I feel safe when I'm with you,"

I held back a smile and nodded, "Pick a side of the bed,"

Blue nodded and climbed on, shuffling under the covers. She looked up at me and patted the empty side. I cleared my throat and laid down next to her, staring at the ceiling. Blue turned onto her side and snuggled into me and I held my breath as she put her hand on my chest.

"Are you uncomfortable?" She whispered.

"Yes, but not in the way, you are probably thinking," I said.

"I didn't mean..." Blue pushed herself up and her lips were on mine. I tried to resist but I had missed the way she kissed me. I reached up and grabbed her face, kissing her back. But I pushed her away gently.

"Sorry, I can't,"

"Why?" She asked, "Are you not attracted to me?"

"Shit," I laughed, "Of course, I am. Blue, I fucking love you but I feel like I'm taking advantage of your vulnerability. I want to kiss you. Hell, I want more than just a kiss but I want you to remember me before anything,"

"Did you ever think what would happen if I don't remember?"

"All the time," I sighed, "I'd just have to woo you all over again,"

Blue giggled slightly and laid back down. I ran my fingers through her hair and she sighed, "Did you woo me for long?"

I smiled, "Not really. Depends on how you want to look at it really. We hooked up the first time we met and then it went from there. Apart from you having sex with my best friend, although I may have been at fault,"

"Who was it?"

"Steve,"

"I had sex with him?!" Blue exclaimed, "Really?"

"I heard he rocked your world," I laughed, "I didn't realise I had feelings for you then,"

"Can you tell me how we first met?" She asked.

"Of course," I said, holding her close and her fingers playing with my dog tags, "Tony hired you as a bartender for parties. We never spoke before but Steve was drunk and he tried it on with you. It didn't work because you told him you weren't interested. Lucky for me. I took you home and realised that being called Sargeant in bed was a real turn-on,"

"Oh god," She laughed, "I called you that?"

"A few times,"

"How embarrassing,"

"Hot," I looked down at her as she watched me speak, "You were wearing contacts and a wig because you were a thief. You stole from us and we tracked you down. I don't think I could ever take my eyes off you. Even though you were irritating and sarcastic, I always found you beautiful and intoxicating,"

"That's sweet," She said, "Not me stealing from you but how we met,"

"I just wish you could remember," I said, swallowing hard, "I had finally told you how I felt and then you were taken,"

"Things happen for a reason," She whispered, "My parents always told me that,"

"Have you remembered anything else?"

"Maybe but I don't know if it's real," She said, "I had a dream of a plane and then falling down the stairs,"

"Yeah. That was real," I said, "That was me kicking you down the stairs but you kicked my ass after that,"

"Bucky?" Blue said quietly, "I want to remember you and how I felt,"

"So do I," I whispered and closed my eyes.

I woke up the next morning to an empty bed and panic struck me. I leapt out of bed and quickly got dressed and ran into the kitchen where I saw Blue cooking something.

"Don't do that!" I said, pulling her into me, "I thought you left!"

"I only wanted to cook you breakfast," She said, patting my back, "I didn't want to wake you,"

"I thought..." I let out a groan, "Damn it, Blue,"

Blue let out a giggle and pointed to a seat, "Sit,"

"Yes, Doll," I rolled my eyes.

"Doll?" She said and her eyes went wide before she dropped to her knees crying out in pain.

"H-help!" I yelled and Sam ran into the kitchen with Wanda, "Help her,"

"What happened?" Sam asked.

"I don't know. I called her Doll and she screamed in pain, holding her head,"

"She's ok," Wanda said and Blue dropped onto the floor, "I made her sleep. She is remembering so I need to get into her head as soon as I can,"
