--Grian’s POV--

“Pssst Grian… Wake up,” a feminine voice whispered.

A hand started constantly shaking my shoulder. “Ghhhhhhmm.. Whaat?..” I groaned as I rubbed the sleep from my eyes. I immediately noticed the extra weight I felt on my lap. Ren’s still sleeping on my lap, but for some reason Bdubs’s little sleepy head was rested near my chest.”Huhh?”

“Hypno sent an urgent message about Decked out, so I won't be far. Stay here, keep an eye on the children, and wait till the other hermits arrive. Okay G?”

*Mhmmm yeAH-- sure…”  I let out a quiet yawn, nearly dozing back to sleep..

“Auntie Cleo, Mumbo's making another meanie thingy majik again!” Tango whined, tugging Cleo’s pale arm. “Tango, let Mumbo be. I promise it won't hurt Falsey again,” Cleo chuckled softly.

The moment I heard the ‘M’ word, my eyes widened and I nearly dropped the two children in my lap as I jumped from the ground . “Wait Mumbo's here?” A black haired kid caught my curious eye, I carefully rested the two sleeping kids next to the tree and swiftly tackled the poor kid into a sudden hug.

“Ack- Uncle Grian-

“Aww muMBOOooo!” My voice squeaked like an angry desert rain frog. The young redstoner was rather baffled with his situation , the other young hermits observed the scene that's playing in front of them, hiding their laughter and muttering their awes.

“Grian! Pay attention!” The zombie snapped.

“Ghaah- sorry Cleo ma'am!.. Cleo.!..” I  stood straight and tall, but held a steady grip on the young redstoner’s shoulders. Mumbo's little face was flushed of embarrassment, awkwardly patting my hand before escaping my grasp.

Cleo’s  face softened, sighing at the absolute manchild standing before her.

--Beef’s POV--

Since Etho could no longer use his elytra, and the idea of flying while supporting the young hermit kind of made me anxious for the child, we agreed to take a safer way of traveling and rode a boat all the way to the shopping district.  Keralis paddled across the large body of water, he hummed the song ‘What is love?’ for probably the millionth time now that it's nearly driving mE CRAzy!! I chilled at the back of the small boat , holding the little ninja before he tried any desperate attempts of escaping me. But soon young Etho gave up with a heavy sigh and behaved.

Jevin's base slowly loaded in, and Keralis carefully parked the boat to the nearest pillar. I watched curiously as Keralis carefully exited the boat and prepared his rockets and elytra. "Keralis, what are you doing?"

"Just need to check something out," Keralis said with a wink, then flew at the top of the base.

If my intuition is correct, he's probably looking for a baby Jevin or something. That's fine. It's risky to have these kids roaming around the server alone anyway.

"Wait ETHO!!" I cried out loud. The young hermit jumped for joy, rocking the boat intensely that you could nearly flip this whole thing upside down, water sneakily entering the boat.. "Etho no jumping on the boa- ETHO WAIT!!" I yelped, grabbing the young hermit's hand before he fell in the water. I carefully dragged the young hermit down to my lap again, and wrapped my arms around his tiny waist before he could do anything cheeky.

Young Etho groans.

"No Etho, behave," I huffed.

The young ninja finally gave into my hug and slowly leaned on my chest, watching the waves subsiding out of boredom. A smile slightly formed on my face. "Don't worry Etho. Later when we're on land, we can play something fun together. For now, let's just wait for uncle Keralis. Alright?"

The young hermit didn't say anything. He turned his head at me and gave me a considerate glance. I couldn't tell if he was smiling under that mask or not, but his eyes twinkled." I'll take that as an okay," I chuckled, ruffling his silver hair.

" Oh Vintage Kebab!! Look, I found ourselves a new child!" The hermit came back with a small blue figure riding on top of his shoulders. I felt amused just looking at the adorable little hermit enter the boat, sitting upfront with Keralis. "Jevin, this is your Uncle Kebab, and right next to him is your new friend Etho. Say hi to them."

Young Jevin smiled slightly, waving his blue little hand at us. "Hi.." He whispered shyly. I couldn't help but just awe at the little blue slimy blob before us.

Young Etho slapped my shoulder lightly, giving me this betrayed look on his face. "What's the matter, kid? Jealous?" I smirked.

"Hmmphh."

--Young Joe's POV--

Uncle Grian fell asleep again after Auntie Cleo left just 10 minutes ago. I watched  him, Ren, and Bdubs, sleeping peacefully. A strong blow of the wind caused all of me and my friends to shiver, so we all gave up with our pancake shop and huddled our way to our uncle, hoping that the tree could protect us from the cold wind. Xisuma suggested that we should use his money [ leaves] and cover our whole bodies with it, to keep us warm. We collected a good amount of leaves and stacked them next to the tree.

Now we were all hiding in a sea of leaves! Falsey and Tango were bored so they played hide and seek in the leaves. Even if there were no places to hide. Mumbo and Xisuma rested next to me, both just trying their best to fully cover themselves in leaves, but failing 'Con-tin-u-ous-ly'

Uncle Zedaph taught me that word. :D

"Joe?" Xisuma crawled next to me, also staring at the three sleeping people.

"Isn't Uncle Grian, Ren and Bdubs cold?"

" I don't know, I can't read brains," I say so bluntly.

Xisuma hummed, crossed his arms together and started thinking. His weird thinking face changed to an idea face, he scooped up a stack of leaves that nearly reached to his chin, struggling to even stand up without dropping most of the leaves. "Do you need help, friend?" I beamed, scooping up the extra amount of leaves. Xisuma’s face brightened. He grabbed for my hand and tugged me to our sleeping uncle and friends.

Xisuma grabbed the leaves from my arms and covered it on Ren, he whispered, "Stay comfy Ren." My smile grew bigger.

We both grabbed the next stack of leaves and skipped our way till we were facing our uncle. "Uncle Grian, Bdubs, stay comfy and warm too," Xisuma whispered excitedly, then we both launched the leaves all over them. Me and Xisuma started giggling to ourselves, the leaves are now covering poor little Bdubs' whole body that you could barely even see his face." There. Now they're warm," I whispered the X, placing my arm on his shoulder.

"Hmmm…" A voice mumbled from the leaves, then a head popped out from the leaves that covered him. "I was sleepy," Bdubs whined, rubbing his eyes con-tin-u-ous-ly. I felt something beating in my chest, the moment I saw tears slowly forming in his eyes. Bdubs quietly sobbed, covering his eyes with his two hands. "W-Why- I'm not asleeP!" He whined again. Me and Xisuma felt scared, scared that we might have done something wrong.. Again.

"Wha- hmm.." Uncle Grian opened his eyes, stretching his neck. His eyes turned into Uncle Keralis' eyes when he saw  our crying friend. "Wa- BDUBS?! What's wrong! - are you okay?! Bdubs why are you crying!?"

--Grian’s POV--

After quite some time calming the little boomer, he finally stopped crying, but just sniffling. He wrapped his arms around my neck, showing no signs of letting go. I continued to cradle Bdubs, sometimes walking around circles till he complained that he felt dizzy. Clearly young Bdubs is still the same as adult Bdubs, both incredibly grumpy when they don't get their sleep.

I really can't blame him. Being Wakened up sucks.

Joe explained what just happened, him and X couldn't stop apologizing for waking the poor guy up, but I couldn't help but smile at the two. "It's alright you two, I'm not upset. Next time just be careful when dealing with someone sleeping. Especially this grumpy LITTLE sleeping beauty!" I chuckled just hearing that little whine from Bdubs.

I felt a small leg kick my stomach hard. I winced, dramatically moaning from the light pain I felt as I sank slowly to the floor."B-Bdubs- Tha- hurts.."

"Sowwy," Young Bdubs says it unapologetically. A smirk slided through that little face of his. The frowns on Xisuma and Joe finally disappeared, now they were both containing their giggles.

*AWWW!! Look at these lil' cuties!" A female voice exclaimed happily.

I lifted my head from the ground, and noticed the brunette, still as pink and girly as ever, joining hands with another small hand. He was a dark brunette, with his iconic black jacket and turquoise lines near the end of his sleeves. It took me a while to recognize the young hermit since he didn't have his beard. Facial hair really does make any hermit or minecraft youtuber recognizable.

"Hello new friend!" Tango jumped from his pile and ran up to the two. "My name's Tango! What's your name?

"XB. Nice meeting you Tango," The young hermit smiled warmly.

Another young hermit came running from the pile, grabbing both Tango and XB's hand. "Wanna play hide and seek with us? The more the merrier," Falsey asked.

*Aww yeah!" XB dragged the two to the leaf pile to play, and dived right in."Hey!? My thingy majik!" young Mumbo hugged his plank, "I'm making my thingy majik safe for everyone!"

"Come on Mumby! Play with us!"

Mumbo let out a spoony yelp as Tango and False continued to drag the poor redstoner to the heart of the pile.
I don't know about you but me and Stress were just a blushing mess just looking at these kids. But Stress! Stress looks like a happy tomato!"

" Um- excuse me, auntie Stress?" Joe muttered.

The female gasped, tugging my arm eagerly." GRIANLOVEHECALLEDMEAUNTIE- OHMYGOODNESS!" Her voice squeaked to the highest tone she could muster.

All I could do was laugh, Joe's face while looking at Stress fangirling was priceless. He looked concerned and embarrassed, like a parent with their edgy teenage child. But the young poet continued, " I just wanted to say hi… My friends were a bit- or too excited to meet XB, that they didn't greet you properly. Sooooo, howdy Auntie Stress." Joe added a little wave.

Stress was caught off guard by that. She looked like she was about to squeal, but somehow controlled herself not to scare the poor kid again. Instead she took a deep breath, looked Joe in the eye, and said," aww fanks Joe. You're

a really good kid ya' know?"

Joe's face also turned pink, but his smile was there.

"Wai- is that a baby Bdubs?"

"I'm not a baby!" The young boomer snapped.

"AWW! Come here you lil' cuTie~" The female carries the young boomer from my arms, pinching his cheeks and making weird cooing noises. "You cutie capoochi little adorable baby waby- Ahhh!" She squealed .

Joe looked terrified again, and tiptoed his way to my back. "Uncle Grian I'm scared."

Just as I was about to tease the young poet, I noticed another two people approaching us. We'll… One person was kind of approaching us, the other young one rested in his arms. The kid was also another brunette, wore a lime shirt brown vest, and had a weird tech on his left eye.

They both seemed to be debating about something..

"Come on Uncle Zedaph, it was fun! Let's do that again!"

"For the last time Iskall.. nO!" Zedaph huffed in frustration.

"What in the Queen Elizabeth's crown happened to you chaps?" I asked… britishly?

Both Zed and young Iskall looked like they walked out from a tornado. Their clothes were wrinkled, leaves and twigs sticked out from their hair and pants, and Zed had about a few scratches on his face while Iskall looked unharmed."It's a long story…" Zedaph mumbled.

"Hehe, we had lots of fun." Young Iskall giggled.

"WE-DID-NOT!!"

--Wel's POV--

Alas, I continued my search for kids in the jungle. It's confirmed that Stress and Grian are still adults, young Mumbo's already with them, I saw Zedaph escorting a young Iskall from his omega tree, now the only person I needed to find was our one and only mayor Scar. Once I reached the giant drill, I already spotted Scar on his platform. Less searching for me!

I landed near the platform to find another adorable scene before me.

A little brunette , with his purple coat and sash, was just a ball full of giggles. Jellie, wrapped her whole body around the kid, purring every time Scar patted her head. "Who is a good little Jellie? You are!" Young Scar grinned.

Little? The cat can easily reach your little head now.

"Uncle Welsy!" the little mayor gasped, "Jellie, say hi to uncle Wels." He took the feline's paw and gave me a little wave. "Hi Uncle Welsy, I'm Jellie," he mimicked a girl voice. A giggle escaped my lips just hearing that impression of Jellie. "Hello Scar, Jellie."

"Want to play with us? Me and Jellie are gonna drive through space, to save our home from evil animal aliens who want to kidnap our powerful wizard Jellie. Pleaseeee~!" His hand motioned to the control panel behind them.

I know I should be bringing Scar to the shopping district, as cute as our situation is, it's still quite serious. But… I'm sure Zedaph won't mind if I'm a little late, right? After all, who could say no to Scar? Specifically kid Scar?

"Alright, I'll join," I said softly.

Scar’s eyes sparkled like the twinkling stars in space, and his excitement wasn't missed. He dragged me to the side of the panel and hastily removed the helmet covering my head. "Yay! Thank you uncle Welsy! You can be the alien horse that tries to destroy our rocket ship. Me and Jellie will try to stop you!" He placed my helmet on Jellie's head, and ran back to the panel.

I felt my eye twitch just hearing the 'H' word. What's with these little hermits calling me a horse?

--Cleo's POV--

After an action-packed, anxiety filled adventure with Hypno in the dungeons of Decked out, we finally managed to find Impulse safe and sound. We both walked down the roads of the shopping district with two terrified kids in our arms. Cub finally calmed down, pointing out the little things that caught his curious eye, like that one piece of mycelium sticking out from the grass. He honestly looked disgusted, and it was hilarious.

Young Impulse was still petrified from the experience he had in the dungeon. He didn't say a single thing since we found him,  he didn't stop hugging Hypno nor did he stop trembling in fear. He was so terrified that me and Hypno were surprised that Impulse is not even crying about it, he stayed quiet as ever.

"I-Impulse, are you okay?" Young Cub asked worriedly, reaching for Impulse's hand that was hanging on top of Hypno's shoulder. Impulse nodded hesitantly, accepting Cub's little hand with a weak smile on his face. That was enough to make Cub happy.

We finally reached the town hall, more kids were grouped together in a pile of leaves, the adult hermits were either in awe or exhausted as they watched over them. "Cleo! Is that all the kids?" Zedaph called out from the small crowd of hermits.

"I think so," I replied back.

Cub stared at Impulse anxiously, waiting for the kid to come down from Hypno's arms. Impulse didn't move an inch, and gripped harder to Hypno's coat. "Cub, I don't think Impulse wants to go down yet," Hypno said softly. "Aww," Cub frowned. But instead of walking away, he stayed right next to the two, still holding his hand.

"So I guess I can explain a few things now," Zedaph clapped his hands together, getting the attention of the other adult hermits. "So basically what happened wa-"

"Excuse me Zed. I don't think we have all children.." Beef pointed at another black haired kid hiding anxiously from the trees.

"Mumbo?" Zedaph called out, "Why are you hiding behind a tree?"

"Zed, umm- that's not Mumbo," I gestured

at the Mumbo and Iskall who played with their wooden plank as a seesaw again.

Then that means it was a different kid who had the same black hair as Mumbo's. The kid hid behind the tree again as I slowly approached him." Hey? It's alright. We don't bite," I whispered slowly.

He popped his head slowly from behind the trunk, muttering, "Auntie Cleo?...

Once I properly saw the kid, I let out a quiet gasp. I immediately realized who this was, but it just felt weird seeing it. His black shirt with three letters on it made it easy for me to recognize the kid.

" Yeah.. It's Auntie Cleo," I carefully took his hand and slowly brought him from his hiding place. Everyone's eyes widened the moment they saw the kid, Keralis on the other hand was in awe, and brought the kid to an unexpected embrace.

" AWW TFC!! Now you're just a freaking a-doooooorable!" Keralis continued to hug the young hermit till he finally melted in his arms. Young TFC was really enjoying the comfort from the hermit that he did not make no move to awkwardly leave the hug, and neither did Keralis..

" Sooo umm-" Wels interrupted with a cough, "shall we continue?"

"Yeaaah Zedaaphh.. " I sent the blonde hermit a small glare. "Kindly explain how all of this happened, hmm?"

Zedaph nervously chuckled, hiding both of his arms on his back, kicking the ground a bit. "Well it's a funny story- you're gonna laugh-"

"I most certainly will not."

"No you're gonna laugh. So it all started with my baby zombie security…"
