Threats of Eternal Damnation from a Loving God

Threats of eternal damnation from a loving God!!!

The Prophet pbuh said, "When Allah created the creatures, He wrote in the Book, which is with Him over His Throne: "Verily, My Mercy prevailed over My Wrath."

[Al-Bukhari]

Prophet pbuh also said:

Allah ordered the appointed angels over you that the good and the bad deeds be written, and He then showed how to write. If someone intends to do a good deed and he does not do it, then Allah will write for him a full good deed, and if he intends to do a good deed and actually did it, then Allah will write for him its reward equal from 10 to 700 times to many more times. And If someone intends to do a bad deed and he does not do it, then Allah will write for him a full good deed (in his account) with Him, and if he intends to do a bad deed and actually did it, then Allah will write for him one bad deed. (Al-Bukhari)

This shows Allahs Mercy on His believing slaves.

If Allah loves his creations so, then why did he create hell as a punishment for them you ask?

Let me answer this with a simple example, a mother loves her children but in order to make them do whats right for them or to make them leave a particular bad habit of theirs she first tries to scare them, tells them she will punish them and even after that, if they dont listen, then she punishes them.

This guy i know, when he was younger, his father made him stand outside their house with only his shorts on the entire night, because he caught him mimicking a smoker. This guy is now all grown up has 5 kids and is kinda old now, but even till this day he hasnt touched a cigarette.

One might call this action of the father as a cruel thing, a horrible punishment, but dont you think that our parents know how to handle us? Only our parents know what punishment to give us, to make us learn something which will help us in the long run. Same way our Creator knows us too.

Thanks to the father, the son never got into this habit of smoking. And thanks to our Creator, we keep away from a lot of sins.

We humans need to know our limits, even when it comes to Allah, especially when it comes to Allah. He loves us, but that doesn't mean that we can take that love of His for granted and do whatever we please.

These threats of punishment keep me as well as a lot of other believers from sinning.

For example, lieing is a sin, but if Allah wont punish me for it, then why shouldnt i lie, whats stopping me from lieing?

Committing suicide is a sin, Allah punishes the person who commits suicide, if i hadnt known that, i would have committed suicide a long time ago.

But if i do that, i would have to endure Allahs wrath for what ever time that He pleases, and dear me, no way would i want His wrath on me.

I hope you get my point.

The fear of punishment makes us avoid the sins, other wise, everyone would sin, and say that " Oh Allah loves me! He will forgive me! Its not like He will punish me! I mean come on He loves me!"

Remember, the bigger the sin the greater is the punishment.

Our sins not only effect our lives but also effect the lives of the innocent. Lieing, causing mischief, gossiping, they do seem like little things dont they? But they have the power to tear people away from each other, and that is why, the punishments from Allah are more severe, more scarey, more intense.

There are people who love to break marriages, and beleive me that is the most, most horrible thing a person can do, and Allah knows that, because it tears apart not only two people but two families as well, the children suffer, the people suffer, but the mischief mongers enjoy, and Allah is going to personally deal with them.

Narrated Anas bin Malik:

A group of three men came to the houses of the wives of The Prophet (may peace be upon him) asking how The Prophet (may peace be upon him) worshipped (Allah), and when they were informed about that, they considered their worship insufficient and said, "Where are we from The Prophet (may peace be upon him) as his past and future sins have been forgiven." Then one of them said, "I will offer the prayer throughout the night forever." The other said, "I will fast throughout the year and will not break my fast." The third said, "I will keep away from the women and will not marry forever." Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) came to them and said, "Are you the same people who said so-and-so? By Allah, I am more submissive to Allah and more afraid of Him than you; yet I fast and break my fast, I do sleep and I also marry women. So he who does not follow my tradition in religion, is not from me (not one of my followers)."

[Sahih Al Bukhari]

Allah isn't cruel nor are His laws.

Umar ibn Al-Khattab said:

Some captives were brought to the Messenger of Allah pbuh and there was a woman among them whose breasts were full of milk. Suddenly, this woman saw an infant in the midst of the captives (she had lost her child). She took hold of it, brought it into her bosom, and started nursing it. The Prophet pbuh then told the Companions, "Do you think that this woman would throw her child in the fire?" We said, "No, By Allah she would not, if she is able not to." He then said, "Allah the Exalted is more merciful with His slave than this woman with her child." [Al-Bukhari]

Allah is the most Merciful, He will save us, if we repent and He will punish us if we continue to sin, to kill, to rob, to rape.

All humans thirst for Justice atleast once during their life time. And Allah has promised us Justice.

No one will be punished unjustly.

And coming to eternal damnation, it is only for the disbelievers and not for the believers.

This world is enjoyment for the disbelievers, whatever good they have done, they will be rewarded for it in this world. But unfortunately for them, this world isn't eternal.

[Sahih Bukhari 4:569]

Narrated Abu Huraira

......Then Allah (swt) will say (to him): 'I have forbidden Paradise for the disbelievers.'

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said, "Allah (swt) will admit the people of Paradise to Paradise and He will admit whomsoever He wills by His Mercy. And He will admit the people of Hell to Hell, then He will say, "Look for anyone who has the weight of a mustard seed of faith in his heart, and bring him out." [Saheeh Muslim]

If a person has, even an atoms weight of faith, he will enter Paradise because of Allahs Mercy on Him.

This, is Allahs love.

He who testifies that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, Allah would prohibit the fire of Hell for him. [Sahih Muslim, Book 001, Number 0045]

This should be done with utmost sincerity, because Allah knows whats in the hearts of men.

And this doesnt mean you are free to sin and do as you will, this means that you need to have faith, and you need to please the Almighty with this faith.

BEING a believer isnt enough, ACTING like one is.

Shirk (associating anything or another God with Allah) will not be forgiven, but any other sin is subject to the Will of Allah. The one who repents will be as if he never sinned.

Disbelievers will be the fuel of Hell Fire.

[Holy Quran 5:72]

.....Indeed, he who associates others with Allah - Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers.

People know that God is One, yet they associate partners to Him, they worship righteous people like they would worship God and say that it is to please God, when in truth they could worship Him alone and please Him that way.

They call Prophets God, they say God came to us in the form of man, they say God died for us to cleanse us of our sins.

Did they even ask for forgiveness?

Do they think so low of God? When God can do whatever He wills from the Heavens above, send whom ever He wills to deliver His message, then why would He reduce Himself to Him creations, become a man, and be ill treated at the hands of His creations, just so to cleanse them of a sin they didnt even commit, and for the sins they didnt even ask forgiveness for!!!!

Think clearly, and O dear Muslims, turn to Allah, before it is too late.

[Holy Quran 39:53]

Say: O My Slaves who have transgressed against themselves [by committing evil deeds and sins]! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah, verily Allah forgives all sins. Truly He is Oft-forgiving, All-Merciful".

May we be protected from Allahs wrath on the Day of Judgement. May He and His Prophets be pleased with us. Ameen

From anonymous-

Dear Allah,

Am i really willing to sell Paradise for the price of one day, maybe two, twenty, thirty or even eighty years of pleasure? Of course not! But why am i acting like thats my plan? To be honest i dont know what my plan is. I do know what i need. I need You. I need good deeds and protection from the bad. I need trails combined with patience and most of all i need to succeed. Otherwise i will be standing infront of You with a story about all the time i wasted and all the times i failed, for what? For a world i knew i would eventually leave behind on that Day?

No, no, no that is not what i want. I want an eternal happily ever after, with the Prophet Mohammed pbuh and the sahaba's, my family and You!

I want this life to be worth it. This is a chance! I want to stop ruining this opportunity. This could be my ticket to Paradise. And i refuse to cancel my flight. I am on my way, bi idhni Allah (by Allahs will).

Yours Truly,

Me.
