*First person pov*

     Ah, I finally made it. I made it to where the underground is, now I need to change out of my clothes. I walk into a building because this place has been evacuated, hope the people don't mind if I change out of my clothes and into the survey corps uniform. I pulled on my cloak as I walked out of the building, waving to the members of the Survey Corps hiding in buildings or crates. I go down the stairs to where I was supposed to stand by where my 3DMG was waiting for me. I put the gear on and waited for Eren and the others.

Time skip~

     I could hear approaching footsteps, and clanging of the 3DMG. I hide behind the wall, listening in on the conversation. "Here?" A voice said... definitely Annie, because her voice was lower than Mikasa's. "Yeah. We're going through here." Armin said, I'm pretty sure. "It's what's left of an underground city they were planing to make. It leads to the vicinity of the outer gate." Armin said, then hearing one footsteps going down the steps. Two. Three. Three footsteps, the trio were going down the steps. I could barely see Armin, but he couldn't see me. "Really? That's amazing." Eren said, but then all footsteps stop. I could hear some movement, and I could see Armin turning around. "Annie? Oh, man, don't tell me you're afraid of dark, cramped places or something..." Eren trailed off, mockingly. "Yes. I am. I doubt a brave, suicidal maniac like you would understand how a delicate damsel feels." I had to refrain myself from snorting at Annie's statement. The nerve of her. "Any damsel who can flip a grown man upside down isn't weak at all. Cut the crap, let's hurry!" Eren said, then walking down a few steps and now I have a clear view of him, and he has a clear view of me. Slowly, everyone comes into my view and they could see me. I mouth to them 'what the hell is going on?'. They didn't reply, since they didn't want to risk Annie seeing but Eren did a tiny shrug. "No. I'm not going. I'm afraid to go down there. I'm not helping unless we stay above ground." Annie said, and they all turned around to look at her. "Quit being stupid! Just get down here! Stop screwing around!" Eren shouted, pissed off. "Eren, don't shout." Mikasa scolded. "I'm sure it's fine, Mikasa. Because, for some reason, this whole area... has been completely deserted for a while." Annie said, getting onto us. She's too smart for her own good... I hate that. Be an obedient titan and get your ass down here. "Man... that really hurts. At what point did you start looking at me that way..." My eyes drift down to Armin's hand which was slightly behind him. He had a flare gun, and his hand was shaking. "Armin?" Annie asked Armin, finishing her sentence. "Annie... Why did you have Marco's 3DMG?" Armin asked Annie, and she stayed silent. "It had all the same scrapes and bumps... I could tell, because I'd help him do maintenance on it." Armin said, a horrified expression on his face. "Yes... I found it and took it." Annie answered, and Armin had a silent gasp. "Then... those two titans captured alive... Was it you who killed them?" Armin asked again, interrogating Annie. "Who knows... But if that's what you suspected one month ago, why didn't you do anything then?" Annie asked Armin. "Even now... I can hardly believe it... I just... wanted to believe I had it all wrong... That's why I didn't... Still... back then... The fact you didn't kill me back then... is why we're in this situation now." Armin announced, painfully slowly. A breeze could be heard, leaves tumbling on the concrete, scraping along. "Yeah... I agree with all my heart. I never imagined you'd end up cornering me like this... Why didn't I do anything then?" Annie asked, well, more like asked herself. "Hold on, Annie! There's still a chance you're just going along with all of this as part of some horrible, idiotic joke! Just get down here!" Eren said, walking up a few steps. "There's something you can prove just by coming down here! Come down here and prove it!!" Eren yelled. Shoot... why am I just standing here!? I should be up there, detaining her! "I can't go down there. I'm a failed warrior." Annie said. "I'm being serious here! This isn't funny!" Eren yelled. "Talk to us, Annie! We can still discuss this as-" "Enough. I can't listen to anymore of this. It's pointless." Mikasa cut off Armin, ripping off her cloak and pulled out her blades to her 3DMG she was hiding sorta. "I'm going to carve you up again... Female Titan!" Mikasa announced, killing intent obvious. Armin glanced at me around the corner, then nodded. Is that a signal? Whatever, I'm coming out either way! I run around from behind the corner with my blades drawn. Annie looks over to me. "I knew it... so it was you at the river. I have to say, what you're hiding behind your eye patch is a great disguise. You should feel lucky that you fooled me." Annie said, then her bangs fall over her eyes. "Ha... ahahaha... AHAHAHAHA! AHAHAHAHA!" Annie laughs, lifting up her face to reveal her flushed pink face. "Armin... It's nice I could be a 'good person' for you... For now, you've won your bet. But... let's see if my bet... pays off!" Annie announced, then reaches up to bite her finger. "STOP!!" I yelled, the commanding aura surrounding me then Annie. All of her movement stops, her finger between her teeth. She was so close to piercing her flesh with her teeth, my god. I start giggling myself, turning into laughter. "Good, good girl!" I said, as I walked up the steps, marveling at Annie who was literally frozen in place. I rub her soft cheeks fondly, giggling. "Say... Annie..." I said, and her pupils follow me. "Since your limbs can grow back... so this technique might just work on you..." I said, walking around her slowly then pulling her finger out from between her teeth so just in case she doesn't actually bite her finger accidentally. That would be bad, so very bad. I'm sure that Annie wants to be a good, good girl, right? Not a bad, bad girl otherwise... Daddy would be disappointed in Annie right? I'm going to make her into the best girl... the saying goes that finest diamonds start out as an ugly pebble, am I right? Wait... I'm sure that's not a saying... oh well, I'll make it a saying... "So tell me, Annie...."
