*First person pov*

"Hey! Wake up!" Someone shouts as they shake me. "Mmhf.... what do you want?" I asked as I turned on my side. "Someone killed the titan experiments!" The person said as they continued to shake me. I cracked my blue eye open to see it was Gunther. "Mm... I'm up, I'm up." I said as I sat up in my bed. "I'll leave you to change." Gunther said as he left my room. I yawn and got changed into my clothes. I scrunched my eye brows in frustration as I try to put on my gear. I hate this gear... and this gear hates me.... I finally got it on and grabbed my cloak and ran out of my room. I put on my cloak as I ran outside to find special op were already ready, same with Eren and Hanji. "What took you so long brat? Were you taking a shit?" Levi asked me as I walked to the stables where Jean was. "Sorry..." I said as I took Jean out of his stable, where he neighed in delight to be out of that cramped space. I put a saddle on him. "AAAARGH!! HURRY UP BASIL!!" Hanji yelled as tears brimmed her eyes. "Sorry, sorry!" I yelled as finished putting on the saddle and mounted him. Hanji starts riding her horse fast first, with us following.

Time Skip~

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHH! SAWNEY!!! BEAN!! THIS CAN'T BE FOR REAL!!! SOMEONE TELL ME I'M DREAMING!!!" Hanji continues to scream her head off. I just stared at the titans, only one thought going through my mind. Those titans had what's coming to them.... They should all burn. "Those experimental subjects were very valuable. Was it a soldier?" Gunther asked. "Yeah. The culprits are still unknown. Both titans were killed before sunrise. When a guard spotted them, they escaped using the 3DMG." Erd answered. "So it was a premeditated move by at least two people?" Gunther asked. I didn't mean to eaves drop, but it was interesting. What am I saying, I watched the anime, I know everything. "SAWNEY!! BEAN!!" Hanji screams, bawling her eyes out. "Check it out! Squad Leader Hanji is losing her shit!" An anime tick mark appears on my head as Oulo laughs at Hanji. Petra elbows Oulo, but his pain didn't satisfy me. "Oulo, what the hell are you saying?" I asked him as I got behind him. He was still holding his side in pain. "What shithead?" Oulo growled at me. "I DON'T TOLERATE PEOPLE WHO MAKE FUN OF PEOPLE'S SUFFERING!" I yelled as I grabbed his waist from behind. I lift him up off the ground. What was I about to do, you ask? Well, I spend all the time I can, training for the german suplex, so why not? I fell backwards with Oulo in my arms into a bridge. "GERMAN SUPLEX!!" I yelled. (WATCH THE VIDEO ABOVE NOW!!) "AGGH!!" Oulo yelled as he rolled around on the ground in pain as I stood up. "B-Basil... What... What was that?" Petra asked me. All the soldiers around me were staring at me. "Shh... it's okay." I said, as I pressed a finger to her mouth then walked off. I see Erwin being a creepy bastard, holding Eren from behind. Erwin said something and walked off, but I know what he said. Eren turns around to watch Erwin's leaving form. "Eren!" I shout as I ran up to him. He snaps out of his daze and turns to me. "Basil...." Eren trailed off and I smiled at him. "We should head back, wanna race?" I asked him, smiling. Eren stared at me then smiled. "Yeah."

Time skip~

"After all, it seems like they never found any soldiers who used 3DMG without authorization. Who could have done it?" Gunther asked Erd. Me and Eren were feeding the horses while they kept an eye on us... you know, to make sure Eren doesn't turn or something. "Who knows? Right now, I'm more concerned about the recruitment ceremony that's coming up. I wonder how many crazy recruits we'll get." Erd said as he took a sip of his cup. Gunther looked over to me and Eren. "Tell me, Eren, Basil... are there any in your class who plan on joining us?" Gunther asked us. "There are.... Or rather, there was." Eren said as he looked back to the horse he was feeding. "We don't know about now...." I said as I pet the horse I was feeding.... I think it was Erd's? Whatever, but I heard galloping in the distance. "Assemble!" Gunther yelled as he got up from where he was sitting and saluted, Erd following. I looked to see it was Levi. I put down the bucket of horse food on the ground and rushed over to salute Levi. "Get your things quickly! We're going out on a reconnaissance." Levi told us. Wait... what does that mean? "Yessir!" We yelled, even though I didn't even know what it meant. Eren finally got over here and saluted Levi. "Good morning, Captain Levi!" Eren said, saluting Levi. Levi looked at us both in the eyes. "Tch, let me be clear you two. Don't fall behind more than two lengths behind me. Don't forget you two are allowed to hang around because I'm watching you. "Aye sir!" "Yessir!" We both answered, I was the one who answered with 'aye.' "Let's go! Giddyup!" Levi shouts as his horse kicked it's front legs in the air before running. "W-Wait! How're we supposed to stay two lengths behind you while we're not on horses yet!?" I yelled as I rush to Jean to let him out of his stable and put a saddle on him, the others following. I finally got up on Jean and rode, right next to Levi. The others soon came, Eren right behind us and Erd and Gunther in the back little ways. I lean forward on Jean and tried to get a good grip because well, I'm not that good at riding horses. It takes too much effort, and it hurts my butt! Why can't there be cars!? I sigh to myself. I look forward, wondering where Levi is taking us.
