Being the Alpha first and only son meant extra training from my dad in the gym.

The gym had chocolate brown wall with a design of wavy white and light brown stripes. The floor was a brown hard wood and had a top to bottom glass wall at one end and a side mirror on another wall. it was filled with tons of machines..it had this cool and quiet look maybe cause it's our family private gym but this place looks like you could host a party or maybe when I find my mate we could have our own wedding here once it's cleared out of course... Oh then wait till you enter the shower, I could die in there and die a happy death. I chuckled at my own thought and immediately focused when I saw Dad throw a punch at me and dodged it.

I could feel the sweat running down my face as I continued to fight with Dad. I was able to dodge most of them

Dad was much taller and older than me with a bulky build from all the training he had done all his life. I knew that my strength was no match against his so I used my speed to quickly dodge him at the last minute. If that punch landed on me who knows I might never be back to normal again the pain oh no - only the thought made a shiver run down my spine but I couldn't show dad any fear as we continued to fight.

"Not bad Tyler, you really are improving"

What can I say Dad, I have got the best teacher and Dad.

"Like you have any other dad" He said and I chuckled at that.

"You know Dad I'm really starting to rub off you, your comebacks are becoming less lame" and I got a glare and an evil smirk from him.

I knew what he was thinking of so I ran out laughing before he could ever get me.

"Oh Dad I sigh. "I could never wish for a better dad" I said through the mind link and I could hear him chuckle behind me.

I quickly jogged upstairs to my room but not before entering the kitchen and trying to hug mum knowing she would probably shoo me away cause of all the sweat and that's what exactly she did..

I chuckled when I remembered her expression it was priceless.. oh my do I love seeing that expression on her beautiful face.

I dried my body as I got out of the shower. I smiled at myself as I took in my reflection in the mirror.. my eyes are grey with a tanned skin and well defined muscles.. thanks to all the pack training and extra training I get from my dad as the Future Alpha of the Full Moon pack.

History has it that the First Alpha of the Full Moon pack was a very powerful Lycan. All the other Alpha answer to him has he was chosen to lead by the Moon goddess. The power that radiates from him couldn't be compared to any wolf. And the same power radiates in my family. Making my father Alpha of all Alpha's and me Future Alpha of all Alpha's.

Dressed in a black sweat pants and a grey shirt, I hurried to the kitchen for Dinner.

I'm turning 18 in two days time and mum is here planning the party as always and blabbing about who my mate would be.

Don't get me wrong am super excited to find my mate. It's a very important day for all werewolf once we turn 18 and I do hope to get a glimpse of her in my dreams.

"Honey are you even listening to me" mum said

"Yes mum I am" I zoned out again

She gives me that look that says I know you didn't "I was just talking about your birthday. I have invited the neighboring pack Alpha especially the ones that have daughters for your birthday"
"Now now before you start complaing about the attention you would get at the party you must remember the pack laws once you find your mate"

I rolled my eyes as the Lecture was about to begin again from mum.
Believe that's one of her best hobbies giving the pack laws to newly paired mates.

"No getting pregnant, No living together until you both are married. Marriage would only happen once you both are 20 and above. Most importantly No getting pregnant. And Yes the law applies to you as the Alpha son any question??" Mum asked

Blah blah blah was all I heard. If only the other boys in my pack receive the kind of lectures mum gives me the rate of teenage pregnancy would be reduced.

Oh well I'm the only one stucked with this kind of mother.

It felt like I was her female child. Which leaves me to wonder what kind of lectures it would be if I was female.. thank the goddess I'm not pheww

"No question mum I have heard this laws since I clocked 15 years of age"

Looking at Dad to set me free he laughed.

"Now now Milla that's enough, I'm sure your son is wise enough"

"I know Jace. My baby boy is all grown up and his going to meet his future Luna. It feels just like yesterday when he was crying in my arms" she sniffled

Count on mum to be so emotional

"Common on mum I'm alive not on a sick bed" I joked and she hit my arm.
"You would always be the number one woman in my life. Mate or no mate I would always love you more than her". I assured her rubbing where she had hit me damn that hand

She stood up to hug me and I gave her peck on the cheeks. Dad cleared his throat. A sign that says you are holding my mate for too long and I laughed at that.

To the rest of the pack my Dad always has a serious face on but to mum and I we know he is playful and not to forget jealous of the attention mum gives me.

I couldn't have asked for a better family well minus the Alpha training and work.

It's a good thing I don't have to take over being Alpha till I'm 21. Happy dance going on in my head.

Jace pov

"Milla we need to tell him the truth on his birthday"

" I know Jace. I'm just scared I don't want him to hate me. To hate us"

"He is never going to hate us" I assured my her

She gave me a sad smile and I rested her head on my chest. We just have to tell him the truth.

All his life I have been training him for what lays ahead of him.

It wouldn't be that bad I mean I know we kept it away from him for 17 years but we did it for his own good and I am scared shitless that he might end up hating us but I have to be strong for Milla.
