Time seemed to fly by after Saber told me I was pregnant. I couldn't wait to meet Lion-O and my little cub. Saber had told me earlier that day that I could literally give birth any day now.

I walked down the hallway to the living room where Saber and his group were hanging out. The Cats Lair seemed to be housing more and more Thundercats theses days. I liked that. It made me feel safer.

When I entered the living room and looked around, I noticed Lion-O wasn't there. I frowned. Saber noticed me looking around and hurried over to me.

"You ok sis?" Saber asked me.

"I'm alright. Have you seen Lion-O though?" I asked.

"Last I saw, he and Tygra were training again," Saber said.

"Thanks big brother," I said walking away. I slowly made my way to the training yard. When I arrived, I saw Tygra but, I didn't see Lion-O. A sudden pain in my stomach made my fall to my knees. I opened my mouth to call Tygra over for help but, someone or something covered my mouth.

"I wouldn't try if I were you. You want your cub to have a mom when he arrives don't you?" A sinister man's voice whispered in my ear. I nodded my head yes in fear.

"Good. Now I want to hear you scream," he said sliding a knife across my wrist.

It hurt a lot. I screamed out in pain and tried to run from him. But he slapped me across the face hard causing me to yelp in fear as well as in pain.

"Heidi! Mumm-Ra you bastard! Let her go!" I heard Tygra yell as he ran towards us. Mumm-Ra growled and raised the knife in the air to stab me.

"No please! Don't hurt my cub!" I screamed.

I heard Tygra yelp in pain as he was stabbed instead of me. I saw Saber, Lion-O and the other Thundercats running toward us.

"I have to do something! I can't let everyone get hurt!" I thought panicking.

Without thinking, I grabbed Mumm-Ra's cape and screamed, "Please spare them! Spare them and just take me!"

"Hmph," was Mumm-Ra's only reply.

He grabbed me by the hair and yelled at the others, "I shall spare you all for now. And you have her to thank."

He threw me to the ground and I yelped out in pain. I reached for my neck because I felt something was suddenly there that wasn't before and discovered a magic collar. With a snap of Mumm-Ra's fingers, the collar tightened causing me to gasp for air. After a few seconds and another finger snap, I was able to breath again.

"Get up bitch!" Mumm-Ra commanded. Out of fear, I obeyed his command. He pointed at the ground beside him, indicating I was to stand there.

A sudden light inclosed around me and I began to cry. I knew I'd never see my family again. I would never see Lion-O again. I felt my heart break into a million little pieces and it hurt.

I looked up at Lion-O as he ran towards me yelling, "Heidi no! Don't listen to him! Run! Please run!?"

I placed my hands over my heart and whispered, "I'm sorry Lion-O. I have to protect our cub. Even if it means I'll never see you again. I have to protect him."

With that, my surroundings changed into a small, damp and dark cell with only a small window for light to flow in from. I fell to my knees. My stomach hurt again and I felt my water break. My cub was on his way into the world.

"What have I done?" I whispered.

"What you had to," a voice from behind me replied. I whipped my head to look towards where the voice was. I teared up as I saw an old friend of mine.

"Lizzy," I said sniffling.
