~Lucy's Pov~ 

After that deal was made Laxus sent Mira and Erza to buy a house. They was saying to use the Clan's funds to do so. Laxus soon took me on a walk. He was giving me a lot of rules when training. I had zoned out while he was doing so. I was staring toward the sky. Sting. I was worried. I wanted to know if he was ok. I needed to know if he was okay. I needed to know what was going on. "Lucy" Laxus snapped getting me to look toward me. My eyes watering. I was such a cry baby. I knew I was weakling of the three of us.

Laxus was powerful with strength, Sting was sneaky with his words and foot play while I......I was weak. I was nothing but a weakness. "Laxus what is The Great Power?" I asked as he took a small breath. "I only know a story" Laxus spoke rubbing the back of his neck as we went into a park sitting down on the bench. "In the dark times the Hunters were getting wiped out. They was in the Dark War and was losing badly. Their numbers had dropped within seconds everywhere all over the world" Laxus spoke looking toward his hands.

He was into this story. I had a feeling he knew it wasn't just a story. "Three great weapons were founded by a family. My spear, Sting's swords and the deadliest of them all, the whip and keys. To make these great weapons they used The Great Power. A source of magic and power. Itself was a weapon of great distraction. Thanks to the family the war was over by at the coast of the family who made the weapons got wiped out" Laxus soon finished the story as I knew this was just what he could remember and make it a shorter story.

"They want to start another war" I whispered in thought as Laxus looked toward me. After silence we met up with Erza and Mira at our home for now. We went in as the two girls got clothes and other things needed for it. After that we all rested till tomorrow. When I woke up it was to Laxus bashing on the door ordering me to get ready for school. I was half asleep and shouted back 'okay' before I got up and started getting ready. Once ready I rushed downstairs to see Mira dishing up breakfast. Laxus had informed me about who they were last night.

Mirajane Strauss, the second most powerful Hunter in Fairy Tail. I was in shock she came to help Laxus out. She must of had a important job. Erza Scarlet, the third most powerful (tied with my brother) Hunter in Fairy Tail. It also shocked me that she came along as well. I ate breakfast with Mira as I had found out that Laxus and Erza were getting my training ready. Once I was off, I nearly got lost. I found the school thanks to it being so big. Once inside many people were whispering and looking toward me.

Trying to be normal would be hard. Being normal. Could I even try at doing that? Could I ever really be normal again? I knew I had to try and I was going to try. "Lucy" I heard Larcade's voice as I turned my head seeing him walk over behind me. He was smiling his head off asking me to come with him. I nodded as I already had the feeling Laxus didn't trust him much. I also had a feeling he would use me to give Laxus what he needed for their deal. This was all just confusing. This was all just everywhere, all over the place even.

We headed into a class room as Larcade soon informed me his friend was looking for the information right away. My hand going on the necklace that Sting and Laxus made me. "I will also still keep anything I can away from you while on the school grounds" Larcade spoke shocking me. He gave me a smile as he explained he already got his payment before I even started and always kept his side of a deal. The payment was to last for a whole year at school. "That ball is tonight Lucy" Larcade soon spoke. 

I rubbed the back of my head. "I had forgotten all about it" I laughed slightly as Larcade was saying how he hoped to see me at the ball grounds tonight. My face was burning up slightly as soon we heard the bell for class making us leave and head to our first lesson of the day. The whole day was a challenge. Everyone basically hated me for my shy nature and the fact they was jealous Larcade was so kind toward me. While we did normal school things my mind was on the fact the monsters Sting and Laxus told me about where after me.

The fact those monsters had my brother. The fact those monsters had killed my father. Trying to be normal was a huge struggle. At our last break of the day I was in the class alone working on notes. Even though I missed yesterday I understood everything in class. I noticed I wasn't the only one in class working still. A very short girl with short light blue hair was sitting not that far in front of me. I wanted to try and be normal by making friends but....I was scared. I knew I couldn't be scared forever but I couldn't help it.

I looked down at my notes seeing they was in order. I was used to making them all over the place. Even though I could understand it, these notes went toward our grades so I had to make them neat and in order. "Excuse me" I heard a small voice as I looked up to see the girl in front of me. Her eyes dark hazel as she was wearing a orange headband in her hair. "Do you have the name of the book we need for the next test?" she asked as you was able to hear she was shy like myself. I pulled out the book that she was talking about from my bag.

"Here, I already know it all by heart so I won't need it" I spoke as the whole day I been reading the book. The girl looked in shock taking the book thanking me loudly while smiling toward me. "I'm Levy McGarden" she spoke offering a hand with a friendly smile. Was this my first normal friend? "I'm Lucy Heartfilla" I spoke taking her hand. We did a small hand shake before talking for some minuets. We had a lot in common what made me really happy. We both love reading and writing books.

We are into the same manga along with video games. Sadly our talk was cut short by the last class starting. As Levy went back to her seat I was smiling. I had made a friend. Maybe trying a normal life wouldn't be too bad now.
