~Laxus's Pov~ 

Erza and I had been summoned to Gildart's office. I had asked Mira and Gray to stay behind and look after Lucy while also giving a text report into Gramps. Erza and I were still a little stressed. Precht had called Lucy The Great Power and out of anyone Gray and Natsu looked like they knew what he meant. Gray wasn't spilling the beans, telling me he wouldn't break his promise. I needed answers. Some serious answers. Once in the office, I noticed Gildarts was standing at his desk, looking at the paperwork in front of him.

Natsu and Jellal were both in seats. Natsu looked annoyed and upset while Jellal was pale. "You wanted us?" I asked while both Erza and I moved closer to the desk. None of the three people in the room looked at us. All had a mixture of rage, worry and fear on their faces. It was confusing, very confusing. Gildarts soon let out a sigh. "I would like to thank you, without Hunters help we could've lost not just Lucy but Natsu and Jellal" Gildarts spoke while rereading the paper in front of him. Something was bugging these guys. 

"Well, I now want some damn answers" I spoke up getting the three to finally look at me. All were confused while I was keeping back my own rage. Erza crossed her arms ready to back me up through this until the end. "Why did that bastard call my sister The Great Power?" I then asked getting Natsu and Gildarts to go pale as Jellal. Gildarts then told me and Erza to both take a seat before informing us this was going to take a while to explain to us. The two of us listened but the two of us, in the end, couldn't believe what we were told. 

~Meanwhile Lucy's Pov~ 

Mirajane, Gray, Juvia and I headed outside the church for some fresh air. I couldn't help but enjoy it the most out of the four of us. "It really is amazing how the base is much bigger in the inside than on the outside" Mirajane spoke up getting Gray and myself to agree with her. Juvia smiled explaining how Gildarts uses powerful magic to do such a thing. Mirajane's eyes lit up asking for more information getting Juvia to start explaining what she knew and what she didn't. Gray then smiled at me before telling me to turn around.

I got confused but listened, turning around to see Sting running over waving. A wide smile grew on my face as I called out his name. Once he got over here, he pulled me straight into a tight hug. I hugged back with the same tightness. I heard Sting letting out a sigh of relief. He was whispering how he was happy I was safe. "Laxus seems to be speaking with the rebel leader Gildarts about something" Mirajane then informed both Sting and myself. Sting pulled away from the hug nodding at her. 

"So how tough was this Precht guy?" Sting soon asked getting Gray to rub the back of his neck. Mirajane then gave a report and story of what happened. By the end of it, Sting had me in another hug this one more protective than the last. "Juvia wonders what will happen now" Juvia soon caught everyone's attention. Mirajane moved over to her, grabbing her hands. She kept her normal sweet smile on her face. "We all become good friends that's what" Mirajane giggled getting Juvia to look at her in shock.

Gray closed his eyes smiling while agreeing with Mirajane's plan. Sting sighed slowly following behind him. "After all Mira's kicked my ass more times than Laxus has ever done" Sting whispered in some fear getting me to nod in understanding. I doubt I even have seen Mirajane at her full power but yet what I did see was so powerful and scary, it was very easy to see why Laxus got along with her so well in a way. That alone made me smile quite a bit. Laxus had friends just like how I did here in the rebels. 

"Though with Laxus not here...I must ask you something Mira" Sting spoke with a smirk growing on his face. All of us looked at my brother very confused. Sting gave out a cocky chuckle getting Gray to soon say 'oh no'. Huh? "So how do you feel about our older brother, Mirajane?" Sting then asked looking at me with a wink. I understood it then and there. I almost freaked out over excitement. LAXUS LIKED MIRAJANE! I never thought I would live to see the day one of my brothers finally gained a crush. 

That was when Mirajane's face turned bright red. "W-what do you mean?" she soon asked getting her face to only get more flushed. SHE LIKED HIM BACK! I almost gave out a huge fangirl squeal. Sting only smirked, even more, freeing me from the hug but had an arm around my shoulders. "Well, we all know Laxus has a huge ass crush on you" Sting pointed out getting Mirajane to nearly pass out there and then. Her face went a brighter red than Erza's hair. Juvia was in shock but soon pointed out they would be cute together.

Gray was shaking his head, using a hand to rub the back of his head. He wasn't sure if Laxus was going to show up hearing or not. Knowing him he would've attacked Sting within a heartbeat of rage. Sting nearly gave out a laugh seeing Mirajane's reaction. "I never thought anyone would end up liking my brothers" I soon spoke getting Sting to shut up and shout 'hey' annoyed at me. I only giggled at his reaction but then something felt off...weird...I shut up fast getting everyone to look at me. 

"Lucy-Sama?" Juvia asked worried as I looked around the area we were all standing in. Sting, Gray and Mirajane all picking up on it. The three getting their guard up right away. That was when the church itself exploded. The flames of that explosion, the wave of the blast and impact hitting the five of us, sending us flying so hard that we all got knocked out once hitting the ground.
