On a peaceful afternoon, Jiro and Yomi welcome a new member to their household. Later in the day, someone appears later to ask for a date. 

Path Along the River: 9:42 am
Yomi POV

The sun shines with the trees swinging the spring breeze. Yes... this is perfect weather.

Jiro: Ahh, there's that poetic side of you again.

Yomi: It adds to my charm, doesn't it?

Jiro: Does it, though?

Suddenly, a familiar energetic girl comes running at us.

Kasumi: Jiro-kun! Yomi-chan! HELLO!

Jiro: Hey Kasumi.

Yomi: Morning!

Jiro: What you up to? There's no school today.

Kasumi: Oh, I didn't realize I was wearing my uniform!

Yomi: Naturally an airhead?

Kasumi: Mouu, don't be so mean, Yomi-chan.

Jiro: Well, it's so good to see you. How's Poppin'Party doing?

Kasumi: We're great! Our new single is coming out soon!

Yomi: We'll be sure to listen to it, won't we, Jiro?

Jiro: Of course.

Kasumi: Anyway, I'll see you two later!

Yomi/Jiro: Bye Kasumi.

Jiro: And just like that... she's gone.

A few minutes later...

Yomi and I continued down toward the park near Hanasakigawa. While on our way, Yomi found a box behind a tree. Inside was a black cat.

Yomi: Onii-chan, can we keep it?

Jiro: Was it abandoned here?

Yomi: It seems so...poor thing, all alone.

Jiro: You know what?...sure... we can keep it.

Yomi: Thank you Jiro...now I'm gonna call you Pound.

Jiro: Why that name?

Yomi: I dunno, seems appropriate...

Jiro: Okay, Pound it is then.

Yomi: Let's bring it home.

While on our way home, we stopped by a local pet store to have Pound registered to our home. We also bought a red collar, a cat bed, some toys and some food for our new house member.

As Pound happily curled up in her new bed, I received a phone call on my cell phone.

Caller ID:  Shirokane Rinko

Jiro: Hello?

Rinko: H-hello Jiro-kun

Jiro: Ah, Rinko, do what do I owe the pleasure?

Rinko: Are you perhaps free tomorrow?

Jiro: My schedule is empty. Why?

Rinko: I was wondering if you would like to go on a date.

Jiro: Sure, that sounds good.

Rinko: Great, meet me by the station at 11:00 am!

Jiro: Aww, but that's when I normally wake up.

Rinko: Eh? Really?

Jiro: I'm only kidding. See you there.

Rinko: Goodbye, Jiro.

*hangs up phone*

Yomi: What did Rinko want?

Jiro: A date.

Yomi: Whew, I didn't think that girl had the courage.

Jiro: What was that?

Yomi: Oh! It's nothing! Now then, let's go!

Jiro: We were just out...

Yomi: True, but dear brother... we need a new outfit for you!

Jiro: Don't think I need any new clothes.

Shopping Mall: 11:23 am 

After shopping at multiple stores, Yomi managed to buy me a "suitable" outfit for my date with Rinko.

Jiro: I still don't get why I needed to buy new clothes.

Yomi: I can have my older brother dress like some slob.

Jiro: Ouch...I do not dress like some slob, and you will take that back!

Yomi: Now then, when will you be meeting Rinko, and what time will you be coming back?

Jiro: What are you, our mom? 11am Shibuya Station.

Yomi: Just be yourself Onii-chan. I'm sure you'll have a good time.

The Following Day: 10:50 am
Shibuya Station

As I waited for Rinko near the station, I took a glance at myself in a store window. Not gonna lie, I look good in anything.

Jiro: Oh... I look good in anything...

Rinko: H-hi Jiro-kun.

Jiro: Hey, Rinko.

Rinko: You look handsome...

Jiro: Thank you. You look very cute today.

Rinko: Thank you...

Jiro: There's a cafe close to here. The coffee and curry are really good there.

Rinko: Jiro... is it okay if I hold your hand?

Jiro: Sure, no problem.

*Rinko's heart skips a beat*

Rinko: L-lets go!

Off to the distance, Afterglow watches their friend go on her first date. 

Tomoe: Whoa! Is that Jiro and Rinko!

Moca: She's taking the lead... good for her

Tsugumi: Do you think she'll be his girlfriend after their date?

Himari: Where is this coming from?

Ran: Knowing Jiro, he'd most likely say yes.

Tomoe: Eh? What makes you say that?

Ran: I can see the appeal of Shirokane.

Tsugumi: Yeah, some boys like the shy type.

Tomoe: Maybe he's the person who can help her confidence.

Moca: Plus, she's got a great body... boys love girls with big boobs...

Ran: Moca!

Moca: I meant what I said.

Tsugumi: We should leave them be. It's rude to spy on our friend's date.

Himari: Mou... fine, good luck to Rinko.

Cafe LeBlanc: 11:00 am
Jiro POV

In a rather cozy cafe tucked away in a neighborhood, we sat down and ordered their house blend coffee and curry.

Rinko: How did you find this place?

Jiro: I saw it in a tabloid, and I thought what an interesting combination.

Rinko: Fufu, if it is your recommendation.

* Hears footsteps from upstairs*

Jiro: Did you hear that?

Rinko: Yes, I also saw a cat walk by earlier.

Boss: Oh, you saw a cat? Argh! I told him to keep out during shop hours!

Jiro: Who's him?

Boss: It's no one...

Jiro: Anyway, Rinko, tell me about yourself.

Rinko: Huh? OK, uh... I love playing my piano and playing video games.

Jiro: Really? Never would have pegged you as a gamer. What do you play.

Rinko: I play Neo Fanatsy Online with Ako-chan.

Jiro: No way, I play that, too.

Rinko: Really?! What level and class are you?

Jiro: I'm a level 69 Magic Swordsman.

Rinko: That's a hard class to play.

Jiro: I get by...

Rinko: Oh, our order is here.

Boss: Please enjoy...

Rinko: Curry is spicy but is a good spicy.

Jiro: Hey, I just noticed something?

Rinko: What is it?

Jiro: Every since we held hands, you didn't stutter once.

Rinko: I guess it is that I feel safe around you.

Jiro: I'm glad to hear that.

A few hours later...
Shirokane House: 4:00 pm
Rinko POV

After going around to various stores and seeing the items they sell, Jiro walked me back to my house.

Rinko: Thank you so much for today, Jiro.

Jiro: I had fun today, we should do it again sometime.

Rinko: Yes, about that...

*I squeeze my skirt as I attempt to say my confession*

Jiro: Rinko? Are you okay?

Rinko: Would you like me to be your girlfriend? I don't have any experience with relationships, but I'll try my best.

Jiro: Rinko... I would like to know you better. I'd be happy to be your boyfriend.

* I've gotten into an intimate relationship with Rinko. There's no going back*

Rinko: I'm so happy... c-can give you a kiss?

Jiro: Oh, uh, sure.

*kisses Jiro*

Rinko: That's felt nice.

Jiro: I should really get going. Until next Rinko.

Rinko: Goodbye, Jiro.

As I walked into my house, I saw my parents sitting in the living room waiting for me.

Mom: He seems like a nice boy.

Dad: I like him...

Rinko: He's really amazing.

Dad: What do you love about him?

Rinko: He finds my shyness cute, I feel like I can do anything if he's there to support me.

Mom: Be sure to invite him to dinner sometime.

I went up to my room to get changed and decided to play a song on my piano. Having a relationship feels really good.

Rinko: Jiro...I love so much.

I've been really busy with traveling recently, and it can really be time-consuming. My Japan is in May, so more planning.
