Lucy's pov./////

     Natsu has been acting wierd lately... he always wants to be left alone... I don't know why...
     I'm currently heading to the guild right now... Natsu is with me but he is a bit too close for comfort... he often stairs at random guys who look at me. He is being overprotective. Again...

     "Ruuude. Not my fault I don't like perverts stairing at you..." he also got this new ability he got from hanging out with Cobra. He can hear thoughts and talk to people from mind to mind...
     "Duck..." I looked at him wierdly but he forced my head down, right before Happy attemted to scare me.
     "Natsuuuuu.... I was just about to scare her."
     "Happy, she will end up 'lucy kicking' you in the face... so sorry not sorry.'
 
      When we finaly got to the Guild, Natsu started to twich. He then roared and Erza came out of the Guild. She had a scared look on her face when she saw Natsu. Laxus came out of the Guild and knocked him out cold.

     "It's happening again, huh?"
     "Gray, what does that mean?"
     "Natsu has gone insane at this exact date every year for 5 years. FREED!!! GET NATSU TO HIS ROOM!!!"
      What is going on?

Natsu's pov./////
   
      It is that time again... my instincts are telling me to claim Lucy. Ok, I have been having feelings for her but, I can't do anything to her. If I injured her, I would hate myself for life...
      Laxus knocked me out and Freed took me to my room. But I heard Lucy's thoughts.(A/N thought conversaitions have (^^) before them)

   ^^Natsu?
  
   ^^Yeah Luce, what's wrong?
  
   ^^I thought you were knocked out.
  
   ^^No, Laxus just stuned me that's all... anyway, what did you want to ask me?

    ^^Why is everyone like this? And why did you go insane like that?
  
    ^^It is dragon season... more specificaly, Fire dragon season. Dragons find their mates in this time of year, and it does effect dragon slayers...

    ^^ Oh.... I understand

Lucy's pov./////

     I just got out of my appartment and headed for the Guild. I want to see Natsu. I came in but the second I came in, a thunderous roar shook the entire Guild hall. Erza was slightly pale and had her Heavens wheel armour on. She was looking at a cage that had been reinforced with Freeds ruins. The cage looked like it was made by Gajeel. And it was in between two pillars, one coming from the ground and the other from the ceiling. There were glowing red eyes with a black, dragon-like creature inside. But when it breathed fire, I saw a scarf... a scale textured scarf...

    "Natsu?..." his head instantly flicked towards me and he began to look at me...
    "Lucy... come... me." I obeyed and asked Happy to fly me up to him. When I got to his level, we staired directly into each others eyes.
     His pupils were sharp, narrow slits and his onyx eyes were red in the outside and returned to their original onyx colour towards the middle. He had long canines and curved, short horns on his head. His ears were goblin ears and his entire body was bigger than his usual body. His wings were 3 membrained and were long and slender. His chest was puffing in and out and he has two more muscles on his stomach, making his six-pack a eight-pack. He had five spikes on his elbows, and smaller spikes on the side of his arm. His claws were dark red, making it look like he clawed a living creature to death and the blood dried on his claws. Did I mention he had a tail with four spikes on the end of the tail.
    
     "LUCY GET DOWN HERE!!!! HE IS UNPREDICTABLE IN THE STATE HE IS IN, HE MIGHT ATTACK YOU!!!" That seemed to piss Natsu off because he roared at Erza, so loud that it almost made me go deaf. Gray forced me down but the moment I got away from Natsu, he went mad.
 
    He broke the iron bars of the cage like they were made out of toothpicks. He got out and punctured the ruined wall that Freed made. He got electrocuted but he did not back down. He finaly destroyed the barrier after roaring one thing that made everyone freeze and made me to look at Natsu in sheir shock and         (a hint) happiness.

     "GIVE ME BACK MY LUCY!!!!!"

      He landed on the ground and got on his hind legs, his tail threatiningly swinging from side to side. He was growling at everyone. Erza tried to attack him but he tail whacked her in the gut. Gray attacked him with his ice excalibur, but the sword turned into steam the moment it made contact with his skin, and he tried to bite Gray and ended up sending him into a wall. He then advanced at me and stoped right infront of me. His nose and mouth was extended forwards, forming a small snout.
     He sniffed me and then bit the collar of my shirt and flew away from the Guild. After taking off, he flung me onto the back of hi neck, right where his headvwas attached to his neck. I grabed his hair and leaned forward, getting closer to Natsu. We suddenly heard Erza behind us.
    "Natsu, please... let's go back to the Guild. You know you can't out run Erz-AAAAGGGHHHH" he suddenly sped up. He was probebly faster than Jet right now. I was wrong, he CAN and WILL out run Erza.

    ^^Damn right. Now hold on tight, I'm pulling up into the the clouds.
    And that he did, and we soon blended in with the night sky. We were above the clouds and I saw the clear night sky...
