Chapter 19

Ok so I know I have been away for too long and I apologise for that. I hope you aren't too angry to read my book ;)

I guess a huge chapter will suffice for now. I promise you frequent updates from now. Have a great day ahead and head on to the next roller-coaster ride of Agent 47.

He stilled.

She....uhm did not make it.

It was as if the world had come to an end. His head spun like a top. He was not even sane enough to see his daughter go to the doctor and ask if her mother was going to come back to lull her to sleep.

The poor kid hadn't understood the exchange between her father and mother. Did her father know that her mother was going to sleep forever? Was that why he was crying like her when she was denied a barbie? What was her father doing with the other lady? Why weren't they wearing their clothes properly?

She wanted to scold her daddy for not wearing his pants correctly. After all he always used to scold her when she did not wear her pants and wash her hands in the bathroom after using it.

The doctor had told her that her mother had left to go to God. Why had she left her without kissing her a goodbye? The poor kid's eyes were filled with tears.

God had taken her mommy from her.

On the other hand Milano stood like a statue. He was stunned.......rather petrified. How was he going to live? He needed his wife. Who would kiss his forehead and wipe away all his frowns? Who would make him his delicious noodles and pasta when he returned home? Who would take care of his little daughter?

And most importantly: Who would make love to him?

His thoughts were violently interrupted by the doctor asking him to tell him what he would like to do with the body.

Milano stared at the doctor with a hard look in his eyes. The doctor visibly gulped hard at the scorching look he was receiving and tried to hide his fear but he was unsuccessful.

"I want to see her." He asked his head hung low.

Before the doctor could have replied, he received an answer.

"No!"

He looked up to see who was the person who had dared to give him such a reply. Upon seeing the man, his red eyes widened.

"Jacob!"

Jacob stared back at him and replied vehemently, "I forbid you to meet my sister."

Milano scoffed disgusted at his brother-in-law's childish attitude.

"You can't forbid me to meet my wife. And as far as I can remember you were the one who broke the bond with her."

It was Jacob's turn to scoff.

"A blood bond can never be broken. She was my sister even after she married a sick cheater. I knew you cheated on her. I knew you had mistresses. And I also knew you would be the cause to her death. You" he raised his index at the Don, "strangled her with your nasty web of lies."

For the first time Milano's head hung low. His brother-in-law's words rang in his head. Unshed tears glistened in his eyes.

I knew you would be the cause of her death.

You strangled her in your nasty web of lies.

I will always love you......but now it will be from afar.

He really wished his wife would have thrashed him or divorced him or just ran away somewhere. But not died on him and his daughter.

His daughter? He had completely forgotten about his princess.

He saw his daughter in the arms of her uncle who entered the room where his beloved laid motionless. He saw Jacob turn around with a disgusted look.

"From now on my niece stays with me. Who knows what sort of lady you will bring home each night, now that my sister isn't there."

Milano fumed.

"You can't do that to me. You can't take away my daughter. I will take you to the court."

Jacob snorted. "Do you really want to go to the court where the cops can easily find you. No issues. Your record is enough to give me legal custody over my niece."

Milano didn't know how to reply. He knew that Jacob was right. He had already ruined his wife. He did not want that to happen to his daughter as well. His princess would be better off without him.

Milano stomped out of the hospital and returned home. Which no more felt like home. He looked at his deceased wife's photo frame hanging on the wall of his abode and cried at the loss of his beloved.

But after a while he started laughing, "You have taken my daughter from me, and I have taken your creation from you, Dr. Chrome. You may be my brother-in-law but a war is always a war. Let's see who wins it."

Wolve entered the room to look at the girl who had taken his breath away at the first sight. She had woken up and sat on the bed. When he entered the room the girl looked up at him with a confused look marred on her face.

He gave her a small smile and walked up to her. She started to move away from him and Wolve stopped at the fearful look on her face. He didn't want her to feel uncomfortable with him, so he let her have some space.

"How do you feel?" He asked in a gentle voice.

The girl looked at him with a confused look and didn't say anything. She stared at him as if she was seeing a human being for the first time.

"Answer me, love."

She stared at him again. Was she not understanding him? Did she not know English? Oh no. What was he going to do now?

He stared at her not understanding what to do with her. His eyes trailed over her body and caught sight of the strap dangling over providing him with a decent view of her slender shoulder.

Oh how he wanted to just latch on to it with his mouth!

But now his arousal was not going to help. He needed to know what he was supposed to do with her.

So he left the room after shutting her door.

47 knew what he had done was not right. His father was broken. He should have first found out personal details about her. Atleast the part where she was his father's sister.

He had never seen his creator so broken. His creator was a calm and collected man. Lately his creator had been on edge all the time. He felt sorry for him. But more than anything there was one thing that ate up his mind.

Guilt.

He felt guilty for his creator. He felt horrible. He felt as if it was his mistake.

He shouldn't have sent the letter. He shouldn't have sent the photographs. But he felt that this was the only way they could win.

It was the only way of removing Milano's rock. It was the only pillar that could make Milano crumble.

He hadn't realised the importance of Jessica Giuseppe Milano. She was indeed more powerful than the president of USA. She controlled the most powerful and dreaded Don. He was a pussy in front of her.

And she also controlled the great scientist of the era

Dr. Jacob Chrome.
