05: Reunion

Pachi ran as fast as he could to the woods, where he saw Sizuka unconscious. He fell to his knees and started crying.

A fire encompassed the four people, and healed their wounds. A fifth person appeared and touched the one on the ground and the one on his knees. The fire faded away in an instant.

"Pachi..." Sizuka got up and ran over to embrace him.

"Si-Sizuka! You-you're-"

Now it was Sizuka's turn to put her finger to his lips. "Pachi, we must go to Jon Rudolf's place."

-----------------------------------------------------------

Kai had never felt energy like he did now. It felt like fire pulsed through his veins.

"Look at them," Lia said, happily, "Pachi is walking basically hand in hand with Sizuka like we do."

Kai smiled, and scooped Lia up in his arms, and walked up to Pachi.

"Let's see who can get to the inn first while carrying their wife."

Pachi scooped Sizuka up in his arms and laughed. "Bet you five shekels I'll win."

And with that, they were off. Pachi had instantly sped up, but Kai had stayed with him all the way to the inn.

"You boys and your games," Lia sighed.

"Lia, you have to admit, it was fun." Sizuka giggled, but then got down. "I suppose we'll have to get a contest together."

"Not today, Sizuka." Lia laughed.

Pachi walked inside. "How's my uncle, Toshino?"

Everyone but Sizuka's jaw dropped.

"He's your uncle?" Lia and Kai said in unison.

"I'm surprised you didn't guess it," Sizuka said sarcastically.

Lia playfully smacked Sizuka on the back of the head and Sizuka hit her back and they laughed.

"Pachi, he's awake." Toshino said.

-----------------------------------------------------------

"So, Pachi, what brings you to my humble place? And who are these people?"

"Uncle Jon, father is dead and Esther is missing. And this is my wife, Sizuka, and my friends, Lia and Kai."

"So, the great prophecy has been put into action. I'm sorry for your loss, Pachi-"

"Where is Esther?" Pachi asked, eagerly.

"I was getting to that. Have you each had Yahweh speak to you yet?" Jon asked.

"Only Kai and I, uncle." Pachi said.

"That means Lia and Sizuka haven't been awakened yet."

"Awakened? What do you mean?" Sizuka asked. Kai and Pachi remained silent.

"600 years ago, when Yeshua, Yahweh in human form, walked the earth, He broke the bonds of religion off of people and commissioned souls to save the world with the Message Yahweh had intended to bring from the beginning. Those who heard it, were awakened. They operated in miracles- healed the sick, raised the dead, cleansed the lepers, and healed people in general. He also gave men and women hope."

"So that same hope, is it still here today?" Pachi asked.

"Inside of you. Come downstairs with me." Jon said.
