Pachi continued to town, full of grief.

Yahweh, give me strength. I can't do this alone.

You don't have to, Pachi. Go find your friends.

Pachi followed Yahweh's advice, and sought out Kai and Lia, his two newly married friends.

Kai, as it turned out, was a fighter and as was Lia. Pachi gaped as Kai knocked people out with his tonfas, and watched Lia cut through the invaders with her Katana.

"Are you gonna just stand there, Pachi, or are you gonna join the fight, ya wimp!" Kai yelled.

Pachi drew his sword and joined the fight.

"Where's Sizuka?" Pachi grunted, as he cut through the enemy.

"They took her captive, and are holding her at town hall!" Lia yelled.

"Well, horse dung." Pachi stopped as he cut through the last enemy and shook off his sword.

What if my beloved best friend is dead? All of this is my fault. Why did I have to be a part of this holy line, and have my parents killed on my behalf? Why? Pachi thought to himself.

Kai looked concerned and slapped Pachi on the cheek.

"You lout, snap out of it! Your beloved needs you, and you're just gonna stand there and let her die? You're wasting time!"

Pachi punched Kai in the face and sent him flying to the ground.

"There's the Pachi I know and love," Kai mumbled in the grass.

Pachi ran to the town hall, and was surrounded at the gate. He dropped his sword.

"I'll go willingly, just release Sizuka."

Sizuka went free and walked to Kai.

The soldiers took Pachi to the main room, where a dark spirited man lay in wait.

"Pachi Takuka. Or should I call you Pachi the Fearless, seeing as you faced 100 demon soldiers and cut them down without a single worry?"

The man charged Pachi, and Pachi simply kicked him in the face.

"I came for my beloved. And I stopped those men for the good of the people. If you wish to have my people, you will have to come take my life first. Unless you intend to surrender, I will have no choice but to end you. I am sorry."

"End me? Pachi, Lucifer sent me to end you myself. I will not let my lord down."

"Well, if this is a battle between heaven and hell, good and evil, et cetera, drop your sword and come get me."

The man with the dark aura charged, and Pachi jumped and kicked him in the face. The man flew back and hit the wall.

"Pachi, you are a dead man, you hear me!"

"If I am a dead man, then why am I still alive?" Pachi asked sarcastically.

The man charged and Pachi kicked him in the nose, breaking it and killing the man.

"One thing Lucifer always forgets," Pachi said, "is that light always will dispel darkness. Good always wins."

Just then, the room exploded with darkness, and then it disappeared.

Pachi, from this day forward, you and your friends will fight this darkness, and will be victorious.

"Yahweh, you always have a way of giving me hope, even in the darkest of times."
