Here we go!

'Well, that's a clusterfuck if I ever saw one' Gray thought as he sat by one of the corners of Fairy Tail.

Edolas Fairy Tail.

They were not supposed to go back there, ever. Magic didn't exist there anymore and even though he could see the faces of his nakama there, they were not the right people. Hell, seeing Cana asking for tea and Wendy being grown up and with boobs was disturbing.

Not as disturbing of seeing himself, Juvia and a little boy that was a perfect mixture of the both them, was.

Holy shit, Edo-Gray not only had married Edo-Juvia, but they also had a child. A child.

'What the actual fuck?' He thought for maybe the thousandth time in the last hour and passed a hand through his hair. At the moment he was trying to get the balls to even tell Juvia the sentiments she had for him were reciprocated and then, boom. Life hits him with a... 8? 7-year-old child?

"He is not mine. He's Surge's." He whispered to himself and from afar, he eyed the boy playing with Edo-Natsu and Edo-Lucy's daughter (ha, the only surprise there was that Natsu even knew where to put it, but he predicted it it would happen with the Earthland's version in due time) and, Edo-Gray, Edo-Natsu and, of course, Earth-Natsu.

Natsu seemed very unbothered of having a daughter (not his, but his anyways. Urgh, that was confusing).

Or he was just being Natsu and not connected the dots yet or would just shrug and say since it was Lucy, what was the problem? The idiot.

Gray snorted to himself. Well, takes one to know one.

The kids and the grown ups seemed to be having fun, especially when Happy joined them, but Gray's gaze seemed to go back to the boy all the time.

He had a darker shade than Juvia's blue hair, and even though he and the boy almost had the same haircut, his hair was wavier, like Juvia's. His eyes were dark blue and the lush eyelashes certainly did not come from Edo-Gray, they were a hundred percent Juvia's.

Everything else? The nose? The mouth? The cheekbones? Chin? That was Gray. And that expression was Gray when he was not amused. Or Juvia's before she got into Fairy Tail if memory served him right. Huh. Interesting.

Either way, there was no denial: he was Gray and Juvia's child.

"Don't worry, he's not going to call you Papa." He heard a familiar voice and even though it sent his heart racing, he looked up and saw Edo-Juvia smirking and his heart settled down a bit. Not his Juvia.

"I wasn't worried about that." Gray rolled his eyes and watched as she sat down next to him and he groaned in annoyance – he was sick of heart-to-hearts with wrong Juvias. They stayed in silence for a bit. "He seems like a nice kid."

"He's the best." Edo-Juvia said without hesitation. "Nasha is great, but my Greige is better." Gray snorted and she shrugged. "What can I say? Gray and I make cute babies. The next one will be just as awesome."

Gray's eyes widened and he looked down to her stomach and back to her face. She winked at him and put a finger in front of her lips to ask for his silence. "It's still a secret though. I hope this time it's a girl."

Two.

Edo-Juvia was going to have another child.

"This is too much." Gray finally looked away and rested his elbows on his thighs, hiding his face on his hands.

"Why?" He peeked at Edo-Juvia and she had an eyebrow raised. "It's not as if you are going to change its diapers."

That made Gray pause for a moment. "I mean... Isn't everything here the same as Earthland?"

"We didn't get stuck in a time bubble." She shrugged. "We're almost a decade in front of you. You don't have to worry about baby number two for ten years, so calm down." Edo-Juvia rolled her eyes. It was so uncharacterizable of Juvia, just like Juvina's bluntness had been so he relaxed a bit.

"So, how is my counterpart?" She asked after glancing to where the children (adults and exceed) were playing when she heard a shriek of laughter, then looked back at him. "I didn't really have the time to ask last time. I don't accept anything less than badass."

Gray laughed – that was not his Juvia, that was for certain. "You wouldn't be disappointed. She is... amazing. Saved my life in more ways than I can count." He looked past Edo-Juvia, lost in memories for a second. "She can definitely hold her own against every enemy. She can be very scary too." He chuckled. "She was part of a guild that was on its way of being Dark once, was on its elite team so she means business."

Edo-Juvia seemed satisfied with the answer. "Sounds like me."

"Oh, but you two are very different in personality." He raised an eyebrow. "She's the sweetest person you could ever hope to meet." Gray stopped and his cheek got warmer. "I mean. Not that you- I- That's-"

Edo-Juvia chuckled. "It's fine. I act tougher, it's nothing to be ashamed of." She shrugged. "I'm glad your Juvia doesn't feel the need to."

That picked Gray's interest. "What do you mean?"

Her expression turned dark for a second. "I assume her life wasn't... easy." Gray nodded – during the six months they lived together, he came to know more about her past and it had been a difficult path, yet she let the light shine through instead of let darkness take over her for good. "Mine wasn't too. When I joined Fairy Tail it was when I finally found a home." Gray could relate to that. Her gaze went once again to where her son was. "And then that idiot started to follow me around."

Gray realized he was talking about Gray Surge, then. "He said he was in love with me, but I couldn't see why, so I pushed him away any way I could even if I was fond of him." She shrugged. "The idiot never gave up."

"Why did you?" Gray asked. "Push him away if you liked him."

"Oh, Earth-Gray." She chuckled. "I think you know the answer to that. We are more alike than you are with my Gray."

He sighed in defeat. "You didn't think you were good enough or deserving."

"Bingo." Edo-Juvia nodded. "How could someone like me be with someone like him? Look at that moron: he's so sweet and naïve and... so damn wholesome. I'm... not. My past is... it haunts me."

"I can relate to that." Gray said darkly.

"Oh, dear." Edo-Juvia started to laugh, confusing Gray. "You are me!"

"What?" He was confused.

"You are me before I accepted my feelings!" Edo-Juvia was laughing and Gray's cheeks got warmer. "Oh, this is hilarious because now I assume that my Gray is like your Juvia."

"Maybe." He mumbled in response.

"This is priceless." She chuckled. "I'm going to help you out, then, let's see if you learn anything from our history." Edo-Juvia said. "I thought I was giving him a way out by pushing him away."

"And?"

She snorted. "The idiot didn't want one. I underestimated his love for me." Not that Gray doubted his Juvia's feelings, but, well, he also could relate. "Trust me, there were offers during our courier's duties and every time I would get so jealous but at the same time a bit hopeful he would take it?" She frowned in thought. "It sounds weird, but it would've been an easier way out if he had found someone else. The burden would have been taken off of me, you know? It wouldn't be my fault I wasn't happy."

"Yeah." Gray muttered – he could relate way too much.

Edo-Juvia sighed. "I kept giving myself all kinds of excuses and one day... I ran out of them. I realized that life is more than feeling like shit when I'm on my own, that living for someone and sharing with them was what was missing in my life." She smirked. "The day I said yes when he asked me out he almost fainted." Edo-Juvia chuckled. "Oh, those were the good days."

"So you just..."

"Said yes to being happy with the person I loved? Yup, pretty much." She shrugged. "Hey, life is unpredictable and I'd rather go to my grave knowing I at least tried than going regretting shit. Now look at my idiot and my sweet darling baby." She used her chin to point at father and son laughing at some idiot faces Earth-Natsu was making. "I wouldn't change a thing."

Gray smiled softly. "You seem happy together."

Her eyes softened. "We are. It's not perfect, I don't think any couple is, but for the most part, we are. I love him, he loves me and we love our boy; it's enough to make us try harder to overcome anything."

"I'm afraid I can't protect her. She... she died to save me. Wendy brought her back, but... she was gone. I couldn't protect her. I need to be better." He looked at his hands and put them on fists. "I need..."

"You need to stop being an idiot." Edo-Juvia said without hesitation and he looked up to her in surprise. "I understand you, maybe not as much because my Gray never died for me, but I know he would be willing to, just as much as I would for him." She said. "It's both of your lives turning into one of support. You won't fight alone anymore, and neither will she. What you are doing is taking away her choice and if she's anything like me, even if she'll understand, she won't like it."

"If you are not ready because you doubt your feelings, then take your time. But if you are waiting because you think you need to be the mega-mage of Earthland, you are being an idiot." Gray was surprised with her bluntness. "Do you have feelings for her? Do you feel she's more than just a friend?"

"Yes." He muttered – he had known he was in love for quite a while.

"Then grow some balls, stop being selfish and work on both of you growing together instead of wanting to be the all-mighty." Edo-Juvia said. "Being alone sucks and you found someone whom you and loves you back. Do something about it."

"I know, I know. Juvina already said that." He said in annoyance.

"Who?" Edo-Juvia asked in confusion.

"You don't want to know." He snorted. "Just... I hear you, okay? I hear all of you. I'll do something about it after this mission. If we ever return to Earthland."

"Oh, you will return. You have to go back there and have your own perfect little boy."

Gray's face immediately turned red. "That's not- We're not-"

Edo-Juvia got up and told him. "Just so you know the timing, two years after Gray and I started dating, Greige was born. I don't think contraceptives will help; it didn't help us." She winked at his red face. "I need to take my boy to have some dinner and I need to feed my unborn baby too. See you later Earth-Gray. Good talk."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Bye." Gray said and sighed.

Edo-Juvia was his version on Edolas, not Edo-Gray. They had very similar mindsets and he could understand how she finally let her feelings bloom for her husband.

Gray looked up and said: "I get it, okay? I don't need any more signs. Just don't send any more Juvias, I don't think my heart can take it."

He could swear he could hear the universe just having a laugh at his cost at that moment.

AN: I hope you enjoyed it!

How cute was Baby Surge (I'm still trying with his name, forgive me)????? The cutest little boy ever! I hope to see some interaction with Gray or Edo-Juvia and Gray, just like we had it with Juvina.

BUT since Edo-Juvia seemed to be more like Gray, I thought a conversation like this, seeing "his" side from her, it would have more effect!

Thanks for reading!
