Just then i heard a noise. I looked up groaning to see cop cars surrounding the truck. The guys fighting the heart-breaker society started to run. But the cops stopped them. They even got Miles. I was heartbroken. The plan had failed. We wouldn't find where the rest of the guys were or where they were holding the girls. Ryder ran over helping me up. "Hey, oh my gosh are you okay?" He asked. "N-no...ow...i don't feel so good." I said. "Guys, Liam, HEY! I've gotta take Sydney to the hospital." He called out to the first guy getting his attention. "Okay, i'll let the others know." Liam said running back off.

Ryder leaned down and picked me up. He led me to his truck. "Hey it's okay just stay with me. You've lost a lot of blood." He said. "I...ow..." Was all i could say. He slid me into his truck and buckled me up. He hit the gas and was gone in minutes. I couldn't even process what had happened. He pulled into and grabbed me out running inside the ER. "I need help right away." Said Ryder. "Okay sir, can you please fill out these forms?" Asked the lady at the desk. "There is no time for that. She's lost a lot of blood. She's passing out as we speak. Give me the clipboard and i'll fill it out in the back." He snatched it from her hand and turned to leave.

"Sir wait, it's this way. I'm nurse Daily." She said standing up and leading him to a room. He sat me down on the bed. She looked me over. "Oh my, where did she get all the lacerations?" She asked. "Truck...window..." I said. "Well okay then let me just see...these are gonna need stitches. I'll be right back." She left the room and Ryder laid next to me on the bed. "Here just hold me this is gonna sting a little." I laid my head over onto him and slumped into his lap. "No no hey not like that." He pushed me back up.

          Another nurse came in and started an i.v. "I think she's gonna need blood. I'm nurse Lindsay." She used a q-tip and ran it in my blood to check my type since Ryder hadn't given them any information. I was so glad this job had good insurance. The other nurse came back. "Okay, this might sting a bit." Said Nurse Daily. She numbed up both arms and both legs. I winced. That's one way to get me to wake up.

           Ryder held me tight. "Hey, sh it's okay it's almost over." He said. I focused hard on not kicking the nurse in the face when she got to my legs. She made quick work of the stitches. Then she wrapped them with ace bandages. The other nurse gave me the blood and i was slowly starting to feel better. She put some pain medicine into the iv as well.

          I had a few cuts that just needed band aids. "Okay were gonna keep you here a bit to monitor you and we'll get you some medicine to take with you." Said Nurse Daily. "Thank you." Ryder said pulling his phone from his pocket. "Hello? Hey, no she's okay no. Yes she had to get stitches and some blood. Hold on let me ask her." He put his hand over the speaker. "The guys want to know if you'd like some visitors?" He asked. "Of course." I said. "She said that's fine. Okay we'll see you guys soon." He hung up.

            "You sure are cute..you have a cute face...and i like your muscles..." I pinched his cheek and ran my hands up his abs. "Well as much as i'd like to see where this goes. Now is not the time, you're incoherent and were in the emergency room." He said pulling my hand from under his shirt. I pouted. "You're not fun." I turned to the door. "Hey guys!!" I called out. Ryder started doing hand motions behind me. "Stop telling them i'm on something." I said looking at Ryder. "Well you are." He shrugged. The guys walked into the room.

           Ethan had a big bouquet of flowers. Caleb had some chocolate. Liam had a stuffed bear and Jake had a card. "Awe thank you guys. Those flowers look tasty." I said. "Wow they gave her some good stuff." Jake noted. I laid my head back and shut my eyes. When i woke up the guys were still in the room. Awe.

           I felt the strong medicine out of my system. I was snuggling Ryder something fierce though. I pulled back. "What happened?" I asked rubbing my eyes. "You mean other than you trying to grope me?" He asked smirking. "Oh please tell me i didn't." I said groaning. "You totally did." Ryder said. "Anyways!" Caleb said clearing his throat. "We got all the guys on the scene." He said smiling. "No, i ruined everything." I said putting my head down.

          "I don't know how you figure that." Said Ethan. "We were supposed to track the guy and see all the shady stuff and bust up the whole operation instead i almost got taken and were no closer to anything. And now I've blown our covers." I said. "Hey, that sometimes happens. It's nobodies fault. And were just glad you're safe." Said Jake. "Thanks but that could've gone better." I said sighing.

          The nurse came in. "Oh good you're awake i just wanna check your vitals and if everything looks good you can go home." The nurse looked me over checking a few things. "Heres your meds. Feel better dear. This one here filled out your stuff for you and this one here took care of your insurance so your'e good to go." She said. "You filled out my papers?" I asked Ryder. "As best i could you kept telling me i had a pretty face. But we got it done." He smiled. I stood up. "Ow, it kind of hurts to walk." I said. "Say no more." The nurse said going to get a wheelchair for me. They led me out into the parking lot and Ryder gently put me into his truck.

          We headed home. Once Ryder got me inside he asked me where i wanted to go and i just said my bed. I needed to just be for a minute. A hot bath sounded great but my bandages were still fresh so i let it go. "How am i even gonna get clean? I had a huge scuffle. And i stink." I said. "Maybe just sit on the side of the tub with a cup and a rag? If you need help let me know." He said. "Look if i can't get it i'm gonna have to call you." I said. "What is that smell?" I asked. "Oh uhm Caleb is cooking some noodle, hamburger, cheese egg and ham casserole?" He said. "Ew."

          "Yea i know but they were trying to let you rest." He said. "Let me just stand up." I said. He held his arm out. "Fine at least let me help you." I slowly made it to the kitchen i had Ryder help me get some things from the pantry and fridge. "What are you doing?" Caleb asked coming over. "Just getting stuff for tomorrow..." I said. "Oh okay my casserole is almost done." He said. I cooked grilled cheese and tomato soup. It smelled delicious. Ryder helped me cover the food.

           Caleb pulled his casserole out from the oven. He set it on the table and put it into bowls. "Oh yum, i'm so hungry Sydney what did you make us? Is this tuna noodle?" Jake asked taking a seat. Ethan sat next to him. "No it doesn't smell like Tuna." I snickered. "Why don't ya'll just try it." I said sitting down at the table. Ethan took a big bite. "Ew that is gross. What did you cook?" He spit it into his napkin. "Oh i didn't cook this Caleb did." I said. 

           "That's just mean." Caleb said taking a bite. "Okay that is gross." He said spitting out his bite. "I'm so sorry guys i guess we aren't getting dinner tonight." Said Caleb. "Sydney whyyyy?" Asked Ethan. "Chill out man. She cooked." Ryder got up and fixed bowls of soup and brought over the plate of grilled  cheese. "Thank you!" Liam said digging in. After dinner i was exhausted and still had to go to school tomorrow. So i headed to bed.
