Endy x Xavier

This is on two OC's. Endy belongs to her original creator EnderGirlEndy11 and Xavier belongs to me (both characters in my book Rebellion). I hope you guys enjoy it!
I actually really like this ship. I am tempted to make it cannon but I'm pretty sure it's way to early for Xavier *cough* *cough* Sylvia's death *cough*... Most of this I feel like I could have done better with, especially the ending.

Spring was beginning to set in, the flowers beginning to bloom, the leaves growing back onto the oak and birch wood trees. Few clouds were in the bright blue sky as the sun cast light from overhead. The trees were beginning to grow back their leaves, some of them even with bright pink blossoms beginning to bloom. The bushes had started to grow berries of a variety, great for gathering food when hunting was so scarce in places like the badlands.
The breeze blew against her, her shiny raven black hair flowing behind her. She wore a purple dress that reached to the top of her knees, with small silver lines going down around it, and long boots with black leggings. Her black gloves were long, almost reaching to her elbows. While it was still a bit chilly, the return of spring made it more comfortable to wear clothing like she had on.
She turned her head, looking over her shoulder to her two comrades, Xavier and his now seven year old daughter. Jane walked behind her, the young girl's attention locked onto the trees to her's and Endy's left. The raven haired let her violet eyes scan the area, her blind eye making it difficult to see very much of the right to them. Xavier was gone.

"Uh, where did your father go?" She asked.

Hand turned and pointed over to the trees to her left. "In there. He told me not to tell you."

She let out a sigh of frustration. Why does he do this? "Xav'! Get back over here!" She called out, using a shortened version of his name that she had began calling him by.

She turned her head, watching as blossoms began to fall from the branches of a tree up ahead. She lowered a brow and tilted her head in suspension. Slowly she walked towards it, looking up past the leaves and blossoms to see what was up within the tree. She jumped back with a scream rising in her throat as Xavier swung down from a branch. He hung there upside down, his legs wrapped around the branch to keep him hanging without falling. His green eyes looked at her, wide and bright like his pearly white smile.
He laughed, his chestnut hair hanging down with a bit of golden glow from the light shining down. His goggles were fixed with new clear lenses, and a green and black striped scarf was wrapped around his neck. Endy had made it for him back when it was still very cold and snowed often. Her violet eyes lit up, her heart racing both from seeing him and from being scared moments ago.

Endy placed a hand on her chest and relaxed. "There you are! You scared me!"

Xavier laughed, then spoke with intriguing English accent. "Sorry las. I just miss doing that to people! You should try it some time!"

She let out a deep breath, trying to steady her heartbeat as much as she could. She couldn't help but laugh. "You're such an a**!"

He put his gloved hand down to his face and placed a finger over his lips. "Language! Jane, sweetie, never say that 'a' word that she just said, okay?"

The Mage looked back down at the little girl as the seven year old nodded, then back up at the ex-imperial spy. "Right. I'm sorry about that."

The male sat up on the branch, his back now facing the two girls. "It's alright, but how many times have we gone over that? Anyway, I guess I should apologize for scaring you. I won't do that to you again."

"No need to apologize, Xav'."

He jumped down, receiving a little thanks from Endy. She looked up at him, his height about three to four inches taller that her. Her lips perked up at the sight of his smile and his bright green eyes that she had grown to love. He was stupid and too risky for his own good at times, but there were moments when he showed great smarts and great sense of humor. He was very caring. Not only that, but his optimism was quite a pleasure to be around.

"So what else did that traveler say again? How much further should the town be from here?" He asked, placing a fist against his side.

She answered, walking around Xavier and continuing forward. "It shouldn't be too long before we reach the town. Just be patient."

As they continued on, Endy glanced at her companion out of the corner of her eyes. A blush came onto her pale cheeks. She liked him, and she had for quite some time now but she did not know how or when to confess her feelings to him. There was also the case on if he still had yet to move on from his first wife who had died at the hands of Herobrine. She tapped her fingertips together as she spoke, not looking up at him for very long.

"Xavier? When we get to the inn, can you and I talk? Alone?"

Xavier lowered a brow."Why does it have to be in private? You can just tell me."

She blushed and looked down, trying to hide the color in her cheeks. "I just...it has to be between only the two of us. Just...please, trust me."

Xavier was hesitant, but eventually agreed for them to speak between only themselves once they reached the inn. She out a sigh of relief that he finally complied to her request. A smile spread on her cheeks as she blushed.
...

They reached the Inn and paid the Paganum upfront enough money for them to stay for a single night. She thanked him with a bit of uneasiness, hoping that he would understand her but she quickly just turned away to keep anything from becoming awkward.
They walked up to the second floor where beds for guests were lined against the walls. They tried not to bump into any of the other Paganum that wandered around the inn. Jane was less uncomfortable and more curious than the two adults.
Endy exchanged a glance to Xavier as she turned around to face him. He tilted his head, wondering why she was giving him a strange look. His eyes widened for a moment when he suddenly remembered her request.

"Jane, sweetie, go down stairs and bug the man at the desk. See if you can get any cookies from him! And bring daddy some too after you eat yours!"

The little girl smiled and cheered at the thought of getting free sweets. "Yay! Chocolate chip?"

"Perfect! No raisin cookies, please. They're just chocolate chip wannabes" Both of the girls laughed.

They watched her skip down the stairs as she giggled. Endy smiled, thinking of how good of a father he was. Most of the time at least. She let out a breath and sat down on the bed beside them. She locked her fingers together as her heart began to thump wildly within her chest. It was the moment when she was finally going to tell him the truth on how she felt, but first there was something else she had to ask to make this go right.

"Um...Xavier... Do you..." Was now really the right time to bring this up? When was the right time supposed to be?

He sat down next to her, his eyebrow lowering. He hummed, waiting for her to continue. She swallowed a lump forming in her throat.

"Do you...still miss Sylvia? I mean, do you..?" Her cheeks grew a darker shade of red against her flushed skin. She did not know how to ask him exactly without giving away her feelings.

The thought of his deceased wife still hurt a bit, but he could not help but chuckle. "What do you mean?" He asked, blushing since he was already getting a clue of what she was going for.

"I-I..."She liked down and shut her eyes tight as his face was consumed in red. "I like you! As in...more than just a friend."

Xavier's smooth voice spoke, not low nor high in volume. She could hear him chuckling at the red in her cheeks. "Endy, look at me."

Her eyes opened as she took in a deep breath and braced herself for rejection. Before she could turn her head, she felt soft fingers underneath her chin. Her back straightened as her body tensed up, with Xavier forcing her to turn her head and look him in the eyes. All she saw was his heartwarming smile and beautiful eyes before he leaned in a placed his lips against her own.
She sat there in shock until her mind processed it and finally allowed her to relax. Was this actually happening? She tried not to question it and only let herself melt into the kiss and gentle embrace of passion as his arm wrapped around her waist. Her eyes closed as gloved her hand lifted up and cupped his cheek. He pulled away, tilting his head as he giggled. The Mage opened her eyes and stared at him in a slight disbelief.

"Yes, I do still miss Sylvia but...with you around I...I think I am ready to move on."

A bright smile spread on the girl's face as her eyes began to tear up. She leaned in and wrapped her arms around him, embracing him in a tight hold. Xavier tensed for a moment before relaxing and returning the hug. He rubbed the back of her head, feeling the smooth texture of her hair.

He felt as she dug her face into his neck and sniffed as she tried not to let out any tears. "What's wrong? Aren't you happy?" He asked, releasing her and scooting back.

Endy rubbed her eyes before putting her hands into her lap. She looked up at him with rosy cheeks and a smile that showed her pale lips. "Of course I am! I just didn't think that you'd feel the same way."

Xavier then leaned in and began to kiss her once more, this time harder than before. Not expecting it, Endy pushed herself away by instinct and fell off of the bed. She hissed as she sat up on the ground, feeling a slight pain but nothing too bad. She laughed along as she listened to Xavier's laughter before he came down and crouched down beside her.
He apologized, both of them sitting there in silence before she leaned back in and placed yet another kiss against his lips. His arm came around her and pulled her closer, enjoying the embrace of love that he had not felt in months. He couldn't help but let his tongue slip between her lips and let it play around with her own. Endy flinched at the move at first, but grew used to it after a few seconds then messed with his own.
He pulled his tongue away, then she did the same; both of their mouths coated in the other's saliva. After their lips finally broke apart, they continued laughing. Xavier gave her a warm smile that made her melt in his embrace.

"You're not too bad at that." Endy exclaimed, her eyes showing a slight hint of lust and satisfaction in their bright glimmer.

The ex-spy shrugged his shoulders and spoke with his accent that made her heart always skip a beat. "Well, uh...I do have experience. Not to make anything weird or anything!"

His new lover let a laugh slip from the back of her throat. The chestnut haired smiled, finding pleasure that she was so joyful. Xavier's ears then perked up, turning his head at the sound of creaking floorboards. There a Paganum stood, wearing a long brown and tattered robe. He stared at them with wide brown eyes and red cheeks, having watched them the entire time.

"Oh hi!" Xavier waved to him, his cheeks red but he felt no embarrassment. "How long have you been standing there?"

The Paganum only turned around and walked around the little girl in front of him, then continued down the steps as hastily as he could. His cheeks were burning red for the scene of affection he had witnessed just then. Jane cheerful raced back to her father and his new love, a wide smile on her face and two cookies in hand. Xavier stood, helping Endy back up to her feet. He wiped the saliva off of his lips before his daughter could notice.

"I got them! One for daddy and one for you!" She said joyfully, handing them both one chocolate chip cookies.

Xavier laughed as he gently rubbed her head. "Good job, sweetheart! How many did you eat?" He asked, seeing the tiny crumbs of her face.

Her cheeks grew flushed. "...Three."

Xavier let out another one of his cheerful laughs. "Of course. Good girl." He took a bite before sitting down onto the bed once more, lifting Jane up to sit on his lap.

The raven haired Mage smiled at the two, her heart continuing to thump countless times at a fast paste within her aching chest. She sat down next to the two, scooting closed to her love before taking a bite of her own cookie, savoring the sweet delicacy. Once Xavier was done, he wiped off his hand against his white shirt, then reached down and clasped his fingers around her warm hand. She turned and looked at him, a twinkle in both pairs of their bright eyes.
...

Xavier hung upside down, looking up as Endy sat on the branch with her hand wrapped tightly around the bark and wood. She shook a little, scared that she would fall if she tried this. Why did she let him talk her into this?

"Come on! It's not that hard. Jane will catch you if you fall." He joked.

Endy rolled her eyes. "Yeah right. I'll end up breaking every bone in her body if she tries."

She took in a deep breath then leaned back. She let out a yelp at the sensation of falling, before she stopped in midair. Her legs were wrapped around the tree so tightly that it hurt the skin on the back of her knees. Her body continued to shake from nerves, feeling the blood rushing to her head. She had always loved new experiences, but she honestly never thought that she would try this. The longer she was there, the more she grew used to the feeling and the more she grew to enjoy the new experience.
Her eyes looked to her hand that was clinging tightly to the branch, seeing Xavier's gloved hand on top of her own. Her gaze then met his, seeing his eyes that continued to make her body feel weak every time she gazed upon them. His lips moved, his warm breath brushing against her face.

  "I love you." He whispered.

Endy smiled. "I love you too." She leaned in and kissed him, wishing that at that moment, she could hold him close to her.
