The rain came down on them, lightly falling from the grey sky. Soon it would fade, and they would arrive to where the waves crashed below the mountain. To the place with magic in the stone that the very temple was built from, with statues of the ancient magic goddess erected like an alter. The place where the Enderman hybrid had grown to call his home.
The rain was beginning to fall from the dark clouds above them, starting to fall lightly before it began pouring down on the two Magi. The hybrid growled, covering his face from the water. The liquid hurt him, sending a burning sensation all over his skin. He was good at hiding the pain; it was something he had tried to get used to all the years of his life.
He hardly noticed himself hissing in pain, catching his friend's attention. The girl with jet black hair and black hood turned to him, concerned with the noise of pain Drake had made. She moved a long strand of hair away from her pale face, her hood blocking some of the water droplets falling from the sky.

"Drake?" She asked her close friend, red beginning to spread on her almost ghostly pale cheeks. "What's wrong?"

Drake looked into her bright violet eyes, not noticing the heat rising in his cheeks. "I've never told anyone, because I'm usually good at hiding it but..the rain kinda hurts me. It's something that happens because of my Enderman side."

He hissed again, trying to cover his face as the water continued to pour down upon them. Endy felt sympathy for him, not liking the thought that he was in pain. Her eyes widened and a smile spread on her face as an idea came to her head.
Her hands rose up, unbuttoning her cape around her neck, and took it off of herself. She got in front of the hybrid, causing him to stop in his tracks. His shining mis-matched eyes looked down at her, filled with wonder of what she was doing. She moved the cape behind him, buttoning the front around his neck.

  "What are you doing? You're getting soaked, and you're going to get sick!"

Endy's body was getting soaked in rain water, her black hair getting matted down and dripping wet. The water was now dripping down her brows and lips, the cold water beginning to make her shiver rather quickly. She still had a smile on her face, a blush on her cheeks. She liked the hybrid. A lot. She was willing to get sick and go through the aching of illness if it meant that he wouldn't go through pain.

"It's okay. I don't w-want you to feel a-any pain."

Drake smiled, pulling the hood over his head, then hugged the fabric against his body. His cheeks were still red, and he was starting to notice his rapid heartbeat. The burning pain was starting to fade, but a small pinch was still present. He looked back at Endy, not liking seeing her shaking and freezing for the rain.
Suddenly, the Enderman hybrid pulled the other Mage close, the blush on her cheeks worsening. He held a piece of the black cape over her head, blocking the rain from hitting her. She stood directly next to him, her body now pressed against his side, making her heart feel like it was pounding out of her chest.
Drake laughed, seeing how red her face had become. Endy's eyes widened even more when Drake's suddenly leaned down and pressed a kiss against her forehead. His arm wrapped around her, pulling her cold, shaking body closer.

"Thank you." He said as he pulled back, standing up straight again.

Endy found one of her arms wrapping around his waist, loving the feeling of having him so close, his body heat slowly warming her up. Her smile returned, closing her eyes as the memory of Drake's kiss that happened only moments ago kept replying in her mind. They began to walk once more, continuing to head to the hybrid's temple home.
