Collin x Luke

I think some time I'm going to write Luke x Collin x Drake. Just because I love Drake x Luke, and I'm starting to ship this now.

Collin sat there in his chair, two knitting needles in hand with black yarn attached to it. His leg was trying to move up and down from his nerves, but he tried to keep himself completely still as to not mess up or hurt himself. The light from the lap to his right shone down on him, the light and heat from the multiple heaters in the facility making very warm. It was relaxing when you lived out in the middle of the arctic where it was a below zero climate.
Christmas was approaching, and it was the first Christmas would be having with his new friends after they randomly appeared at the base a few months ago. He took pity on the two men who could remember nothing but their names and the fact that they were friends. Grayson and Luke. The names rolled off of his tongue that stuck out as he stared at the knitting needles, listening to the repetitive clicking as he knitted away.
Another hat rested on the table before him, this one was black and had two large spots of magenta yarn and dark purple yarn within it to make the image of an Enderman. He did not know why, but he had sentimental views on those creatures but he could not quite point out why. He sighed as he put the two needled down, examining his work to make sure that everything was just right. Everything appeared even. It was a hat, one that had a upside down tiny orange triangle in the center and two black dots within a white oval that made up the cute face of a penguin. The rest of the hat was black with two little flaps that hung down to cover the wearers ears.
Collin smiled, proud of his work. His hoped that his friend would like it.
He gasped and jumped in his seat, looking over his shoulder as he heard the front door of the facility being pushed open, the walls outside of his room echoing with laughter. He grabbed the hat and took the needles, setting them aside and shoving the hat into a box next to his desk that was already cover in bright red wrapping paper, quickly grabbing the lid and closing it before his two friend's turned the corner and looked into his room past his open door.

"Collin, whatcha doing?" Luke said as he shook off the snow, Grayson doing the same as he removed his helmet.

A blush burned on Collin's cheeks as Luke walked closer, his foot pushed back the bright colored box in hopes that his friend would not see it. Grayson set his helmet down on the table, walking up behind Luke as he shivered. He looked down at Collin as the boy stood up tried to hide what he was working on.

Collin felt his heart pounding. "N-Nothing!"

A laugh pushed it's way past Grayson's lips. "You're knitting? Isn't that for grandmas?"

The brunette growled. The lavender haired rolled his mismatched eyes and hit Grayson in the shoulder. "Knitting isn't just for grandmothers, jerk."

Grayson laughed as he rubbed his arm. Collin smiled again, walking up to his friend and putting his hand on Luke's head, ruffling up his hair and letting the snow that was stuck in it fall. Collin looked at his friend's red ears and nose, mucus leaking from his nose from being out in the cold with little protection over than his coat, thin gloves, and purple scarf. Luke blushed and pushed his hand away.
The blonde looked to the kitchen and walked over there as his stomach growled.
Luke's eyes lit up as he saw the black hat resting on his desk. He could not help but to become curious and push past his friend, walking up to the desk. Collin's face turned completely red as Luke reached his desk, his heart pounding in his chest. Luke smiled, his shivering hand reaching out and grabbing the hat gently, lifting it up and examining it.

"Wow. Grayson doesn't know what he's talking about! I think it's awesome to create something with your bare hands. I mean...this is cool! You are very good at knitting! You have talent."

Collin looked down at the floor, looking at the Christmas present he had made. "Th-thank you."

Luke chuckled as he grinned at his friend, lifting up the soft, warm hat and putting it onto Collin's head. The blue eyes man flinched his hand lifting up and grabbing his hat, pulling it up to get the yarn away from his eyes. He smiled and laughed with burning heat in his ears and cheeks. Luke smiled at him softly, nodding before giggling.

"You look good in that. Is it an Enderman? I haven't seen one of those in...forever. They do seem to be quite fascinating creatures."

Collin nodded and laughed, looking down at the ground again. "Yeah, it is. And they are quite fascinating." He used one finger to scratch his chin, a nervous tick.

Their ears lifted and stood straight up as Grayson called for them. They looked back to each other, smiling with red in their cheeks before turning to leave the room, Luke allowing Collin to walk out first. They went over to the window that separated the living room from the kitchen, seeing Grayson standing there and setting down two plates. Both Luke and Collin pulled out the two stools beneath the window and sat down, looking down at the cold cream pie fresh from the fridge. They laughed, picking up their forks and immediately digging in.
...

Christmas Day had arrived, the three men sitting around the Christmas tree that was covered in glowing lights and bright ornaments. There were few presents beneath the tree considering that they lived in the middle of nowhere in the Arctic. They all laughed as Grayson ripped the wrapping paper around a gift that felt like something plush. Collin and Luke watched with wide smiles as they sat next to each other and saw the bright light in their friend's green eyes. The wrapping paper fell to the soft carpet, Grayson's eyes resting on a think grey snow jacket.

He hugged it and unzipped the front, slipping his arms into the sleeves. "Thanks Luke! It fits perfectly!"

Luke replied, "You're welcome, buddy."

He then turned to Collin as he pulled out the last gift in a small box, wrapped in red wrapping paper. Red rose into Collin's pale cheeks as his smile widened, handing his handmade gift to his friend. Luke reached out and took the box, setting it on top of his lap as he lifted up the lid. His eyes grew as he put down the lid and reached into the box, a wide smile showing off his bright white teeth as he lifted up the knitted penguin hat.

"Collin, you made this for me?" He asked with a giggle in his voice as he put it on.

Collin giggled at his joy. "Of course." He tapped on the hat upon his head. "Just like mine."

Luke was speechless for a few moments, rubbing his finger on his hat and feeling how soft it was. Finally something to keep his scalp and ears warm out in the freezing cold. He loved it. It almost like it immediately became attached to him, and he became attached to it. It nearly brought tears to his eyes with how happy he was. Enough to make him want to hug Collin but he kept himself from doing so.

"I...I love it. Thank you."

Grayson pouted. "Why don't I get a hat?"

Collin laughed. "You have that stupid helmet and gigantic jacket. You don't get a hat! Not for now at least."

Grayson crossed his arms in his thick jacket as he huffed and pouted, making him look a bit chubby. Luke playfully punched Grayson in the arm, but the blonde hardly felt it through the thick fabric in the way. Grayson could not hold his pouting face and broke out laughing.

  "It looks good on you."

Luke turned back to Colin, smiling at him with red in his pale cheeks. He thanked him again, Collin scratching his chin and laughing as he blushed.
...

Luke looked down at his hat as his breath rose in front of him, his mask causing sweat to build up on his chin and cheeks. All of that was so long ago. He missed him so much.
The imperial assassin shook his head and put the hat back on, pushing back his memories. His ears perked up as he heard two pairs of voices, both pairs sounding familiar. He turned his head and got down, watching as two people came into view. Grayson and...no. That couldn't be...Collin?
Luke froze. He was taller and as his body turned, Luke could not breathe. Half Enderman...

"They are quite fascinating."

He listened as he spoke. "How did you obtain the dragon egg?" He even sounded like him.

Luke bit his lip as tears welled up in his eyes. No... It's not Collin! It's not him! He's not your... Collin's gone. Luke took in a deep breath and once again pushed back the memories, grabbing an arrow with the head dripping with poison. He readied it in his bow and aimed. His fingers shook, and for a split moment, he was hesitant.

Don't let your feelings stop you. Grayson no longer cares about you and Collin...

A tear slipped from his eye before his fingers lifted up from the bow string and he fired.
