It was almost 6pm. The sky began to dark. Outside the tractor Frank was standing and giggling. Nanni kicked him and smiled.

“So everything is fine now right? Can we go doooood?”

“Yeah sure!!”

“Where are you guys going?”

“Hey Ananya, I and Alan have planned to go the small home over there!”

“Some said that it was haunted?”

“Yes nanni we know! Frank and I are going to investigate it”

“Can I come pleaseeeeeee?”

“No nannni! It’s not safe and that place looks too risky!”

“It’s ok teddy! If you are going, then I also will be coming”

“Ok It’s finalised then! We three are going to the haunted house together ok?”

We took our torches and started to walk. The house was small and it was not even half the size of the room were Frank and I stayed. It wasn’t a very old house, but I could see that it wasn’t well maintained. I found that there was no lock on the door, so I pushed it open.

Frank and nanni were also examining everything very carefully. Since it was almost dark, we turned on our torches and tried to find the light switch. Nanni found that and switched it on.

It was a untidy place with old vessels, huge bundles of papers with some music score which I didn’t understand and a upright piano which occupied almost half of the house. It was difficult even for the three of us to stand there.

"Hey Frank did you see that Beauty! It’s a piano doood and I think it’s homemade!! A classic one!”

“Yeah! But this place is starting to give me the creeps! Let’s get hell out of here!”

“Scared huh Frank baby?”

“No! I’m just telling that so you won’t get scared! It’s your wish!”

“Hey Dood I think we should make nanni happy”

“Now what?”

I told nanni and Frank to sit and opened the piano’s fallboard and touched the keys…. It was in perfect condition!! Even the keys were sparkling and it made such a pleasant soulful sound!

I played happy birthday and we both sang. Nanni was beaming with joy! She hugged me from the back and said thanks.

“Frank do you want to have a try at this piano? It’s so wonderful! You’ll love it”

“Ha ha no thanks dood!”

“I wish I could take it with me! Such a wonderful piano but it’s treated as a junk here”

I heard some strange noises like the wind gushing, and the room we were sitting was hot!

“Guys!! I’m feeling something strange? How could this room be hot in this hills? There’s no fire nearby?”

“Yeah I can feel that nanni! I was too engrossed in the piano that I didn’t mind that”

“Can we leave atleast now?”

“Ok Frank! Let’s leave”
