Lee's POV

I just stared at her for what seemed to be forever when the doors of the chapel opened, I turned around and saw Scarlett walking my way. I didn't know what she was doing back here all I was hoping was that she knew how to wake up Anne. Finally she got to the alter and looked from Anne to me.

"Haven't you tried to wake her?" Scarlett asks me.

"I did sort of, how do you think I should do it?" I ask her not really knowing what to do in this situation.

"Well lover boys are busy at the moment, try the fairy tale method." Scarlett says looking at me.

"Fairy tale method? I don't quite understand." I tell her seriously confused.

"Kiss her you foul, this may be you only chance. Don't freak out it's not true love or anything like that but more like something to jump start her system." she tells me as she looks back to Anne. "Sure you have kissed someone in your life?"

"Of course I have but never a student." I tell her with a scoff.

"Uh huh sure, well hurry up Romeo we got stuff to do." Scarlett says as she turns away.

I walk to the other side of Anne, would this really wake her up? I mean I kissed her forehead and nothing happened then. What would a kiss on the lips do anyways? Still I guess Scarlett knew what she was talking about. I lean down and barely press our lips together.

"Even that wouldn't wake up sleeping beauty, I feel sorry for whoever you kiss." Scarlett tells me with a scoff.

Of course this gets to me and I lean into the kiss more and just when I think it is useless I feel her kiss me back. I pull away and see Anne smiling at me as she slowly starts to sit up and I help her do so.

"Please tell me you aren't going to tell me he is my true love?" Anne says looking to Scarlett.

"Nah, he was just here. We have to get downstairs though and fast, don't know how much longer the boys will last even with Katie and Amelia's help." Scarlett tells us.

I help Anne to the ground as she looks at me with a grateful smile. We start to walk to the door when Scarlett stops us.

"Wait, just in case Anne sorry but I am going to have to take you over for a while." Scarlett tells her.

"What do you mean Scarlett?" Anne asks her.

"Just trust me ok, I wouldn't let any harm come to you." Scarlett tells her as Scarlett goes into Anne's body.

"Alright teach, here is your next assignment, no matter what you hear or see you get down to the basement and set this place a blaze then get the hell out. The collector is distracted so you should be able to get out." Scarlett tells me.

"What about Anne, Tyler and Jack?" I ask her.

"Let me take care of that, just be ready for when they come out to drive the heck outta here. You got that?" she asks me.

"Yeah, be careful Scarlett, Anne." I tell them as I take off to the basement.

Scarlett's POV

I knew what I had to do, I knew this since the day that Anne was born and I was more than willing to do anything for her, she was like the daughter I never had. I start to walk out the hallway and down the hall to the landing, I look down and can see the minions of the collector trying to kill Tyler and Jack. I had to help them. I start down the stairs as the collector picks up Jack by his throat.

"Ready to die little man." the dark voice says.

"In the name of God put that man down!" I yell at the top of my lungs.

The jock who was now harboring the collector looked up to me with a sadistic smile.

"Ah Angel, I thought you wouldn't make it. Hiding in the chapel I see." the voice says still holding Jack.

"I said release him!" I yell at the top of Anne's lungs.

"Can't do that angel, I have a quote to meet and all of you are in it." the voice says about to make the mark on Jack.

I couldn't let him hurt Anne's true love. I rush over and throw the jock backwards onto the stair case, releasing Jack from his hold.

"Anne?" Jack asks.

"Stay behind me. No matter what happens." I tell him.

"What are you doing?" Tyler asks slowly standing up from the ground.

"What I have to." I tell them as I watch the jock slowly stand from the stairs.

"You know in a mortals body that really fucking hurts Angel." the voice says looking back at me.

"It wasn't meant to feel pleasant." I tell him with a raised eye brow.

"Don't you ever get tired of being right?" The voice asks with a scoff.

"Not usually now release them, you know you have no right to these souls, you tricked them." I tell him as he smiles at me sadistically.

"That's the point sweetie, humans so easy to trick into getting whatever they want for the biggest price of all. Their souls." the voice says as he starts to walk over to Tyler. "Even him, you know pal I could make you the best deal of all! How would you like it if Jack were outta the way and you could have Anne all to yourself?"

"Leave him be!" I yell at him.

"I just wanna hear his answer, oh and don't lie I can tell when humans do that too." the voice says looking to Tyler.

"Hurting Jack would only hurt Anne and I couldn't ever hurt Jack." Tyler replies to the voice.

"Oh good point, that is unless I erased her memories of Jackie boy over there. Then what would you say to that? You would say yes and I know it! Anne is what you want, ever since the day you met her. I bet you even fantasied about her a few times as well." the voice says circle Tyler.

"Don't listen to him Tyler, he is trying to trick you." I tell him hoping he will listen to reason.

"Trick? Ha! I don't have to do anything, he has been wanting Anne since day one! Then Jack had to come in and mess everything up didn't he kid?" the voice asks.

I knew that Tyler was strong but I also knew that he loved Anne as well, I kept praying he wouldn't fall for the collectors trick and trade his soul for something so horrible. Something so fake.
